Sad that we aren’t getting both PS3/PSVita versions of Germinator (((. I thought since it has Cross-Save, Sony would like to give both versions. Well this kinda sucks.
Spiritual successor to Pinball Hall Of Fame: The Williams collection, at first The Pinball Arcade definitely seems like it’s worth taking a look at. I’m a huge pinball fan and have spent countless hours, maybe more than any other game playing Pinball hall of fame. I am telling you, The Pinball Arcade is not worth your money! Sure, it’s ”free” but the tables given to you are mostly boring to play and the ones you pay for after are extremely overpriced. I rarely oppose buying something I really want due to high prices but in this case I have boycotted the game until they come to their senses. It’s a game of Pinball, not the latest and most advanced game out there so it should’nt be priced as such.

@Primero, I actually signed for all the benefits. I really love the discounts and the occasional gem that is released for free. The cloud storage save my bitter back when I got the YLOD in 2010. The convenience of PS+ is what I like. The automatic updates are something that is really nice. It may seem like a small deal, but its nice to be able to jump right into games and or apps on the PS3. Or if its an update. Nice to not have to upload my saves or wait for my trophies to sync either. PS+ just makes life as a gamer easier and occasionally rewards is with some great games.

It’s the 21st and 11am and still the update is not on. I want the Pinball game, but it is not yet available for free on the PS+ thing. Wonder how long it will be before they add it for today?
@158 the update will probably go live at around 315-4 pm eastern time, That’s what it has been the last few weeks.
Sony America’s PS Plus division is just out of touch and lame, plain and simple. Sleeping Dogs is the only good thing they’ve done since the deceptive E3 12 games last year, where we thought we would be getting quality.
I suppose they are saving their good titles for E3 this year as well, to trick new subscribers again. Its a shame since EU treats their Plus members with respect all year long, not just when its convenient to get people to sucker more people into the program. :/
Plus was such a waste of money old games or junk games you could play on a phone. It a mistake I wont make again unless they start adding some good games instead of all this shovel ware.

Also, unless there are licensing issues, ALL of the PSN stores (except Japan) should be IDENTICAL. That includes Plus sales and discounts, as well as the Avatars that those EU basta–I mean, customers, get.
@ 160 Maybe you guys already had a lot of these game since they are older, but I don’t know how you can think Sleeping Dogs is the only good game. I loved Darksiders, Vanquish, Spec Ops, Demon Souls, Bioshock 2, Dungeon Defenders, The Cave, Knytt Underground. Quite a few really good games. I’m probably in rare company in that I didn’t own any of these games… But Sleeping Dogs the only good game….That’s a bit of an exaggeration to put it nicely. Not even sure you really believe that.
Though to balance it out, I didn’t like Guardians of Middle Earth, Malicious, any of the fighter games, Anomaly Warzone Earth. Retro City Rampage seems like a good game, but I got bored pretty quickly. Not every game is going to be to my liking, but I’m really happy with Ps Plus.
Is the full Capcom Acade Cabinet still due out today??
I would have preferred a discount on this since its pricey ($29.99).

Wow; First, Pinball Arcade won’t install. Second, the PlayStation Plus promotion with GameStop has been changed to expire earlier, on June 2nd. That’s not to mention that Germinator sucks.
Sometimes I just wish service could go from C+ to A. I don’t want perfection, but holy crap…Not sure if I’ll renew…I was going to sometime to June, though…

Morgan, can you use the Gamestop deal to get an EU Plus subscription? I’ve been thinking about getting one since they seem to get much better content. Is the US getting Kingdoms of Amalur on PS3 and/or Rayman Origins on Vita next month or just EU?

What will happen to the Plus subscriptions when PS4 comes? Might we buy extra years of Plus and then they become useless when PS4 comes out? If you’re going to keep promoting deals for annual Plus codes, you should provide some guarantee that the money spent won’t be useless when Sony decides what to do with PS4 subscriptions. Until then, I would like to take this deal, but I don’t want to risk buying something that might not be supported later this year.

Its the end of may 2013 and there has yet to be a decent game added this year. 2012 ps+ was great. I keep my subscription going so i can still keep the great games we got last year that I haven’t finished. Once i finish the 2012 free games I will no longer need ps+ so I can save some money there.
Is sony phasing out ps+? Based on the titles offered in 2013, it seems like they are trying to phase it out and reduce subscriptions so they can end the service.
@Lucius_13 – When you start to download it, when it’s downloading it does key unlock first then the vita version and then the ps3 version. It should say 2/3 when downloading the vita version all you have to do is go into background downloading and exit the store look into your downloading list and cancel the vita if you don’t want the vita one and it’ll download as it says the demo version (turns into full when it’s done installing because the key unlock.)
@ADRENALIN_101 – Red Dead and Dark Siders 2 were already here. Well Red dead was from my understanding heard about it and DS2 was just a couple months ago.
@179 we never got either of those games. Personally i don’t care because i already own red dead and darksiders 2 doesnt interest me but i just wanted to point out that your post is incorrect. Red dead redemption was in europe and only darksiders 1 came to NA

This Pinball Arcade junk isn’t even worth being called a free game — more like a free demo for Plus users … So awesome … Color me very unimpressed. I’d almost rather have gotten nothing at all than this patronizing BS. Very poor form, Sony. And $30 for the Season Pass? These developers are seriously deluded if they think some crappy pinball games are worth anywhere near that money. Just look at all the amazing indie titles one can buy for $10-15 and get a clue.

And we got Darksiders 1 not too long ago but not Darksiders 2
it wont let me download pinball arcade but the other games work fine. anybody else have this problem?

You are definitely not the only one. I contacted FarSight directly and they said it was an issue purely with the store, so we probably won’t see a fix until Tuesday’s update.
Please fix the download issue for Pinball Arcade for PS+ members on PS3/Vita. It still won’t download.

BRING BACK SAINTS ROW 2, (or at least add part 1, or 3) PLEASE!!!!!! I just bought playstation + today, not knowing that it was gone from there :(
