I really want to buy the PS4 day one but a couple things will have to in order for me to buy it.
First – The price needs to be at $300 for a 500 GB HDD and $400 for a 750GB HDD really I don’t see any reason why the console should be priced higher than those two prices. With no Backwards capability the PS4 should be priced fair at Launch to get people to buy day one and not wait for a price drop.
Second- The whole used games issue if you look around online some sites are stating that the PS4 could use a function where if you were to use a used game it would charge you a fee to play it this is something I don’t like to hear and if its true I might not buy the console. Unfortunately I am a gamer who doesn’t buy all of my games some of my games are borrowed and I don’t want to pay a fee just to collect some trophys. I really hope soon we can announce more info on the PS4 to set the record straight once and for all.
Third- The console needs to be shown before E3 we already know that the outside shell is finished and to keep waiting only makes most gamers upset and if we are not wowed at E3 this could harm the PS4 in the future in sales.
I’m always skeptical on getting first model consoles due to failures like the YLOD and RROD. Never mind the RROD, I wouldn’t dare buy such a thing. But this time I’m going after this one! (Still have my ole faithful 1st Gen. 80GB)
I really hope that they announce that the PS4 has backwards combatibility with the PS3. I’ve read rumours that it wont…..
Seems like a very big flaw to me especially with the many new games coming out over the next 6 months (GTAV, COD, Last of US, Batman origins, AC4, Battlefield 4, etc) ….. why would you pay $600-$700 on PS3 games only to then have to spend another unconfirmed $900 on the PS4.
Yes i know i know keep your PS3 but why should i have to own half a dozen consoles. And honestly How long do you play the obsolete console for, once you have the new one??
it just so much more convienent to just have the b/c. WIth the money we pay is it that too much to ask for??
just seems like theyre thinking more about their profit than their customers,,,,, It would just make the PS4 that much more appealling and put it that much further infront of the competition..

i havent bought a PS3 game since they announced to PS4 im just waiting to hear if it has b/c…. if not then there will be no PS3 games bought ever again either that or the PS4 wont be bought for a long time =(
