I am sorry, but PS+ has been very weak. I kept putting up with the comments and have accepted it as a rental service, but all the new games being added are like a broken record. Why does it seem that PS+ US have to be given the shaft?
No creativity in attempting to offer variety. Don’t need a fighter game, and don’t want a vita so could care less about what games you giving away for it. And I sure wouldn’t buy a PS Vita for the games you are offering free.
PS3 users like me and my household are not renewing are PS+ membership. The variety is not there and don’t play the free games we already have anymore. Sorry playstation, you have lost a long time fan and advocate for playstation products. You sold out just like Microsoft. Unbelievable……
The update is live. If you look in the plus section and the game isn’t there, try searching the name of the game and it should come up.
I feel I need to drown out some of the whining with a little praise. I got my money’s worth with my sub my first 2 months, so every free game is just icing on the cake. I’ll be renewing my sub when it runs out in 2014. Keep up the great work!

If I access the ps store on my vita the update is live but when I go to the ps store on my ps3 the store still has not been updated. I’ve never tried thus before, is this normal?
Well they are two different stores. And that sounds right to me considering the Vita store has been up for a while now and they haven’t created a blog post yet. It’s probably taking longer because there’s more content going onto the ps3 store.
It doesn’t seem that the problem with Pinball Arcade was fixed yet. Hopefully it’ll be fixed next week.
I see that The Last of Us has a pre-order advert on the Store. But, it doesn’t work. Gives me an error message. Also, if there anyway we can preload our pre-orders and have them unlocked the morning the game comes out, like Steam? That would be great. And, more launch week discounts on Day 1 Digital titles, please! Thanks for that with Metro: Last Light!

Playing BlazBlue CSE now. Started doing the story mode, I have to say I’m very intrigued by it. I would love to see an anime adaptation.
@258 PS+ is fine, your just being picky because it’s not what you want. It’s just weak because it’s the end of the month. All the good stuff is usually in the beginning, no surprise if the bad stuff appears later of the month. If you want something, you should pay for it yourself. People bought a Vita so they can get Vita games offered for free. That’s been people wanting this whole time, but your being the complete opposite of that. If there is a game you like and it’s on PS+, fine. But others are not going to be happy with your choices. They have been offering variety, your just not seeing it.
If you aren’t going to support either company, then I have three words for you. Stop gaming, period. We don’t want people like you to ruin it for us.

I myself lost all my games that I had over 2 years until I went ahead an renew play station plus then I got them all back and working. I`m sorry when I quit play station they all quit working for me. I also know how marketing works I have been in it for 27 years. I also know how to pull a whole over somebodies eyes. I not doubting what you said. I`m saying it did not do that for me. thanks again..

I have ben a “PLUS” member since it started and i must commend Sony for improving the service over the past year. My only gripe is too many fighting games are given free . i have at least 10 of the top 20 fighting games from ps plus. I wish i enjoyed fighting games………..not since i was a kid.
@32 Jakintosh – Add me in the Knytt love! A Metroidvania without upgrades, yet I’m compelled (and endlessly frustrated) to continue. Pushes you to your limits in some very right ways, though there are some control bumps (releasing the joystick too quickly about-faces you, I’ve gotten snagged on slopes). That’s not even touching the beautiful backgrounds and bold dialogue (which dips between being too forward and being rather natural, allowing the player to read between the lines and causing other characters to come to similar conclusions for the benefit of players who hadn’t yet).
Voted BlazBlue (though, yes, cull the fighters or the time being), but the Germinator discounts are interesting. Basically, you can outright buy the Vita copy for the same price as the PS3 version on its own. A very well-made promo for non-Cross-Buy games, though I’m not in the market for this one right now.
And like Tekken 6 before it, why’s Soul Calibur pictured as a Vita title rather than PSP? On that note: I, as a PSP owner, support having a slot filled by that undervalued catalogue.

If you would just look back at all of the Past Plus updates during the year you would see that most of the time the rating was really low and tons of people were complaining. This year was much better than 2011-2012 Plus games but still it could be a little better. Throwing us some themes and avatars once in a while doesn’t hurt also.

I didn’t say we didn’t get a lot of content for the most part I was happy that I got some enjoyable games. But again some of the games we got were not that great at least to me of course.
Nba jam on fire wasn’t that good after I played it a couple times. Also games like NFL blitz and Guardians of middle earth didnt look that interesting after watching videos of the gameplay.
Its ok I am sure this year Plus will be even better just hopefully this year if a PSN game leaves its replaced by a PSN game and if a PS3 full game leaves its replaced by a PS3 full game.
Please fix the download issue for Pinball Arcade for PS+ members on PS3/Vita. It still won’t download.

What’s up with all the hate on the Vita itself lately? The Vita kicks ass…. but it’s LIBRARY of games is severly lacking STILL. Sony when the hell are you bringing out more real games for the vita? Games coming out almost every month (real games on disc) on PS3… but I can’t even remember the last game that was released before Soul Sacrifice which is boring as hell.
I bought my Vita like 9 months ago (got a brand new ASs Creed white bundle off amazon from the warehouse for a used price XD) and all I have on it are Ass. Creed Liberation, Uncharted 3, Monster Hunter Unite, Pure Chess, Monopoly…… one of the Solitaire games and I got Wild Arms one week you were giving it away. That’s IT, and I have a 32 gig card… lol
I’m getting Ragnarok Odessy, Unit 13, and Need for Speed Most wanted soon as well as downloading Tetris, Super Stardust Delta bundle, and Assassin’s Creed Bloodlines. I’d get Call of Duty: Black Ops – Declassified , but I’m not paying even 30 bucks for a game with such low ratings on Amazon that it seeems like the game isnt’ even fit for a pile of dog poop (that’s what you get for letting Nihilistic develop it). But other then that there isnt’ jack fort the Vita…..

I cannot see the hate for PS plus.
C’mon these are FREE games. They are also not supposed to give you exactly what you want as if that ever happens then how can the developers earn from their games?
I believe that the developers do get something out of having their games free for PLus but they would of course, earn more when you buy their game.
PS PLUS is ALWAYS better than XBOX LIVE which is $60 JUST to go online.
Be happy with what we have people. Just be thankful that SONY is treating as better than Microsoft is with their fans.
This is ridiculous… When is the Pinball Arcade game going to be fixed? I still can’t download it on PS3 or PS Vita..
Don’t get me wrong ever since i got the PSN+ service ive been really enjoying everything it was offering me: dungeon defenders, dark souls, Zombie Tycoon 2, Double Dragon, etc etc. Sleeping Dogs was pretty ok to me although i cant say i like the pinball game by much. Although I felt very dissapointed when I found out that only the vita version of blazblue is gonna be free and there are no plans on putting up the ps3 version. thats pretty much a huge letdown for me as i looking forward to playing it.
I know people are gonna tell me ”Just buy it on gamestop or something its only 20 bucks” here is the thing. I already know about Chrono Phantasma so why would I spend 20 bucks knowing that in a few months this game is gonna be outdated.
Next month I hope to see more AAA tittles on my library rather than cheap 10 dollar games that can be finished in one sitting or 3-4 hrs.

I’ll give BlazBlue a try but I just got Soul Sacrifice so I doubt it will unseat that. However, I just finished Knytt Underground and want to nudge anyone who hasn’t dug into it to give it a try. That game is simply amazing. Also thank you for the Plus service as my budget on games is usually pretty light and I’ve gotten my fiddy bones back and then some (probably a few times over). The Vita Plus is what, half a year old? Assuming I’ve split the Plus cost with the PS3 I don’t see how my $25 (actually only $12.50 for the half year) is anything but one of the best gaming investments of all time.
Play Station plus Europe update, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus HD free!……. Just saying.

LOL the first time I try PS+ for my Vita I get 3 fighters in a row and some crappy games , good thing I got the 3 months, my plus ends in 6/18 , and no more ps+ for me .

US IGC especially for Vita has a lot of catching up to do compared to its European counterpart, but I think BlazeBlue is fine start. I amazed by the crazy story mode which seems to have a lot to offer (beyond the usual “hey, this is a tournament, let’s fight”). I didn’t even bother playing the PSP fighters, they are not as interesting at this point.
That said, I would like to see the previous EU releases on the US store: Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward, Sine Mora, Rayman Origins (for which a sequel was announced this week for Vita)
In any case, thanks for BlazeBlue and the incredible program (PS+) you guys at Sony are running!
Well, here we are just 1 day from the new month and yet, we still have no clue as to what is coming up the the PS+ in June. Where as in the case the EU has known what they are getting 2 weeks ago. Could someone please explain why, just why is it that the EU knows what they are getting in advance where as we have to wait and wait to find out?
Also, an off topic question:
I work for GS (not going to use the full name) and just cashed in the 1 yr PS+ subscription. When do we get the $10 promo for doing this?
