  • Thats my wishlist for this upcoming year

  • Leaving the IGC 7 games this month and comming only 5, just great…

  • CommandingTiger

Best thing to do if you want to encourage people to buy new. Give more free stuff, like pre-orders only thing is that it’s included inside every game and not just for pre-orders.

A lot of pre-orders are a lame excuse of getting the full price.

Here’s what I’m thinking, say with all missions/chapter of the single player campaing of Killzone it totals 11 hours.

Well, if you buy the game new, you would get an exclusive 2 hour side mission/chapter, 4 exclusif guns (out of 35+) for single/multiplayer, and a very hard mode on single player. Of course, redemable by a code online.
People who buy a used version can still play the game from begining to the end with a lot of the main experience being untouched and remains a full. A full game, with extras for new games.

Anyway, it would be cool, much more than just 1 exclusif gun only on a pre-order.

Another thing, I really started to hate pre-orders, a lot of them are just cheap knick knacks gimmicks to force you to buy the game day 1. I know it’s when you make the most money, but buying it at the store for 60$ should also count. I’ll always buy new regardless, out of 60 games, there’s maybe 2 used game, because I couldn’t find them new…

  • Need to put major PS3 games that aren’t “M” rated into the regular rotation.

Help me be a responsible parent by giving us some top quality major games with a teen, E10, or E rating. I think there hasn’t been a major retail release on the NA IGC that wasn’t “M” rated since last fall (Starhawk I think?). Only new smaller PSN titles haven’t had the M. I expect 1 to 3 non-M games to hit the long-term collection next week to replace the long-term games that are leaving. It’d be awfully nice if we could get a MAJOR non-M rated game every 1-3 months after this month from now on. Thx.

  • I’d like to see Plus discounts on both Castle of Illusion and Ducktales Remastered when those hit.

Speaking of classics, will we EVER see more NEO-GEO Station releases? It’s had a featured PSN Store spot for years and haven’t had a new game in ages. SNK/Playmore will never answer questions on their Facebook page (rude!) so any info would be greatly appreciated.

  • Please answer if you get the chance :)

Also, will Dues Ex have discounted dlc?
Do you think Sony will replace the 3 classics with 3 more ps3 classics? :)

  • plus is the best deal for every gamer ;D anyone who thinks otherwise is a total idiot

  • BossmanCCrowder1

Fantastic update! Can’t wait to see more at E3! I can guess there will be some big games!

  • Thanks for the awesome birthday present!!

  • Well I guess I need to amend my compliment for this month quite a bit.

Really ridiculous that you had to take away Orc Attack. Hope we get something good in it’s place, instead of just letting it fall though the cracks and not getting anything else for Vita.

I know things change, but can you guys please work on your communication on your end please? Nothing builds up disappointment and frustration like telling us we’re getting something and then taking it away from us. *shakes head*

  • I was wondering something, do you keep previous content even if it leaves as long as your account is active? My kids have been playing the Ratchet and Clank and I would hate for them to lose it

  • Germinator should be Free-To-Play for everyone, not just PS+. Then there’s the terrible service with Pinball Arcade still not working, and now only one single Vita game this month (although it’s a great one). More games leaving than coming, too (5 coming, 7 leaving), Orc Attack being listed then unlisted is a slap in the face, and now no PSP games…and look, two shooters for PS3, great. >=[

  • any updates for pinball arcade? still cant download.. what gives?

  • NOOOOO! I was gonna get ps plus on friday just because of Sleeping Dogs. Cant you guys leave it for one more week pleaseee?

  • OK, this has been getting aggravating. Every single time a purchase a new game it either goes on sale or, if I bought it already on sale then it ends up free for Plus members, within 3 weeks after my purchase. Deus Ex this month; Trine 2, AC Brotherhood, Foosball, and Demon’s Souls before that. And that’s just over the past 10 months or so, that doesn’t even begin to touch the total amount of games I’ve purchased that ended up on sale or free a few weeks later. It’s making me weary of purchasing anything other than add-ons for games I already have, but even those have fallen into the same scenario quite often over the years. It has certainly slowed down my buying of PSN cards, I no longer buy them unless I have already decided what I’m going to download. I won’t buy them just so I can have funds in my wallet. Idk why I’ve had such bad luck in this, and it left has me sour. It’s impossible to appreciate a free game when I’ve just payed $20 for it a few weeks back; over & over & over & over & over again.

  • Zero Escape!!!?? For FREE??? Oh hell. Now I’ve GOT to get a PSVita. Thank you Sony! :)

  • I’m glad to hear more titles will be announced to come out in June. I was wondering why there were fewer games being added to the instant game collection than the number of games leaving this month.

Looking forward to hearing all the great games that will be added at E3. I’m hoping the announcement will be as impressive as last year’s e3 or close to it. Don’t let us down ;p.

  • @518 (Corleone-Kun):

FYI, just add any game you want in IGC (most of time ppl will add everything thought) to your download list, and then you can re-download them from your download list many time as you want, as long as you are the PS+ member

  • Is annoying to see people with their “Im losing 7 games and only getting 5”. Seriously, if you already downloaded them or “purchased” them you don’t lose anything, you just keep getting more but seems that people’s greed cant be satisfied at all ¬¬

  • That’s what I’m talking about!!! You got me for the next 3 months :)

  • I am really disappointed by SCEA’s Performance regarding PS+. First you make a big mistake by announcing and then later removing a title and then you are still unsure on whether Machinirium is a Cross-Buy or not.

  • :::Big Sigh::: Deus Ex? Bought it already. Machinarium? Bought it already. Saints Row The Third? Bought it already.
Portal 2? Bought it already. New Vita titles? Don’t have a Vita. Looks like the whole month is a total wash for me. :(

  • phillyphanatic92

So Infamous, LBP2 and R&C A4O are all leaving on June 11th? Maybe another e3 PS+ surprise?

  • taking out Infamous and the rest of the games huh…

    im thinking
    Twisted Metal
    PS All Stars
    Sly 4

are gonna take the place of Inf2,LBP,Ratch

  • I honestly don’t know how PS+ could get better (besides maybe marketing it). I’ve been a subscriber since August 2010, and I remember I used to get excited when Critter Crunch was the featured game of the month. And now games like Sleeping Dogs and Deus Ex are the featured games, along with other big name games in the month (Saints Row). PS+ has come so far.

  • Cool, Nice update. Was thinking about getting Deus Ex, glad I waited.

  • hahah, i knew deus ex 3 will become free! I predict Ace Combat: Assault Horizon will come soon.

  • BEST. PS+. MONTH. EVER.

  • Totally gonna nab the portal 2 DLC at that price! Thanks for discounting it!

  • As Someone who has been a plus member since the instant game collection launched, I can honestly say I got way more than my money’s worth out of it with the free games that I have actually gotten (and played all the way through)

This is an official thank you to the people in charge of this idea. Thanks to play-station Plus I have officially saved several hundreds of dollars on games that I was fully intending to buy at some point, but didn’t want to waste the money on, You know I wouldn’t have actually bought sleeping dogs, but once I got it for free, I found out it was one of my favorite sandbox crime games (right next to saints row 2 which I also got for free).

I don’t know if I am allowed to make suggestions or if you listen to them, but here are a few games I would love to see in the future on Plus: Driver San Francisco, Heavy Rain, LA Noire, Devil May Cry (the new one), God of War ascension, Dead Space 3, and FarCry 3.

  • HansFuchsjaeger

Wow that’s a fantastic lineup! Deus Ex and Saints Row 3 are both incredible games. I played through both of them on PC, but I am happy to add them to my IGC on PS3! I think I want to upgrade my HDD one of these days :-)

Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward for PS Vita *love*, *love*, *love* – I have been waiting for that game since it was added to the European IGC, great job, team!!!

Machinarium is also neat, I played it before (again on PC) and its really nice looking for a design point of view.
I haven’t heard of Orc Attack before but I will definitly check it out!

Another cool month for Playstation Plus members, thanks!

  • o man…. sony you totally rock!!!!!!!! im proud and happy to be a ps family member keep it up :)

  • PlayerNumberZero

I really want to see Mirror’s Edge free on PS+ but it’s very old, Members will not like it, free for me maybe XD ?

  • Pretty decent updated, I own some of the titles but in any case a good updated…

    “””Capcom Next gen lineup:

Dead Rising 3 (XB1 exclusive. Capcom Vancouver)
Dragon’s Dogma 2 (PS4 exclusive, DD team doing it)
Darkstalkers Reborn (Wii-U Exclusive. Funded by Nintendo, Dimps + Ono)
Marvel Vs Capcom 4 (Both. Eighting + Capcom. Also “Expandable” and also allegedly taking advantage of Microsoft’s E-Sports platform tools they gave to developers)
Megaman (both consoles, PC and done by “A very good US developer who you won’t expect but would be very happy to hear is doing it”)
    New IP from Capcom Vancouver
    New IP from Ninja Theory”””

I could see Dragon Dogma reaching the IGC … Remember my words :D

  • DonkeyKongKilla

@ ShariusTC – If it’s not in the IGC when they get plus, how are they suppose to download it? LOL Because i’d like to download games that are no longer in IGC that I missed on before I signed up.

  • DonkeyKongKilla

@drGiggless – Paul said this isn’t all of the content so looks like there will be stuff because of E3.

  • Hi ,

    Is SR-3rd available now ?

If not when in June ?

Just picked up PS3 , all this is new to me

  • that-acmilan-guy

I’m looking forward to the new wave of instant game collection!

  • @Tappertoo

    1. No
    2. Every Tuesday there is a store update for PSN+ US, in one of those updates in june you will receive SR-3 but…
    3. …You have to be subscribe to PSN+ in order to get access to the games included in the IGC.

By the looks of your avatar you are a PSN user not a PSN+… You may buy a subscription for 3 or 12 moths…

  • well looks like this could be the beginning of a great summer ps+ lineup!! thanks guys..i believe from the looks of it you guys have actually been paying attention the all the gripes and complaints, the last couple months of blog comments?

  • Wait, Machinarium will be cross-buy?

  • Damn! I already have all the games except for Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • PiotrRasputinBR

GREAT update. Even if I already have Deus Ex, it’s a great game for all those who missed it. Saints Row looks interesting. Now if I could just stop playing blazblue…

And, PLEASE, keep us updated on the arcade pinball issue, was really looking forward for it but I keep getting error 4422…

  • lol Funny that Deus Ex is on ps+ now. I have the game on Onlive (got it for a buck there), Steam (5 bucks there) and now ps3.
Funny thing is I still haven’t actually played there game. lol
Maybe now I’ll give it a show and get some trophies on the way.
