    It looks interesting guys. The silver logo does go well with black although it would be epic to bring back the original colored logo from the original playstation for the top. I don’t know how well that would look on black… maybe just straight white would be better..

    People keep asking when it’s going to be released?

    Well launch games are slated for Tuesday, November 17th

    If the Eye Cam needs to be on, its not a PS4. :)

    The PS4 can use 3GB more RAM for games (8GB) than the MS ONE because the Kinect needs 3GB of the available 8GB

    I’m not too thrilled about the design of the ps4. Don’t even see any ports for it just main hookups so its hidden? ehh. I missed E3 only because I was dead tired last night.

    I honestly hope that Sony realizes its mistake with the playstation 3 and includes a mic along with the console. As an owner of both consoles, I can tell you that the 360 was simply more fun to play because of the online interactions that come from everyone having a mic. Although the ps3 was the superior console, the fact that everyone had a mic, along with simpler chat functionally, made the 360 more fun to play online. As a fan of gaming, I seriously hope that Sony doesn’t once again drop the ball on something as cheap as a mic with simpler chat functionally.

    Thank you for giving it a flat top and putting all the ventilation at the back. My PS3 will sit happily upon this beauty. I just hope they don’t Voltron up and kill me in the night.

    Initial reactions during the E3 reveal: “Oh no, how embarrassing, someone brought out an Xbox One for him instead of the new PlayStation!” followed by “Oh now, how embarrassing, that IS the new PlayStation! It looks so much like an Xbox One!”

    Really, they just look far too similar. The only real noticeable difference when quickly glancing at them is that the PS4 has an angled front and back. It’s ugly. Why would you want to reveal a console that looks so remarkably similar to the competition? I’d think after Microsoft unveiled theirs that you’d take a look at yours, think “oh that’s just too similar”, and perhaps revise the design to make things less like theirs.

    I like this piece of awesomeness. It’s slick , gorgeous and most important powerful to play most amazing titles created by 1st party and 3rd party Developers. Can’t wait to put my hands on it. Thx Sony for bringing dreams of a gamer – reality, with releasing KH III and FF XV for PS4. One request is still without answer where is Last Guardian and FF Type-0 to West ? Please answer .

    Here are the real questions on the PS4

    1. Can the HDD be upgraded like the PS3 with a higher one like a 1 TB model.
    2. Will only one model priced at $399 be sold?
    3. Is the current PS4 model a 500 GB HDD?
    4. For people who are not plus members how much will they have to pay to play online?
    5. Will games install on the HDD?
    6. Is the camera required?
    7. Certain games on PS3 made a install file to the PS3’s HDD so it would be able to be played smoother this is something that will not be seen on PS4 right ? Since PS4 has more power this time.
    8.What is the actual release date?

    Does PS4 come with the eye? If not has a price or tech info been released? …. don’t the controllers need the eye? If anyone can direct me to an actual Sony release I would be grateful. Beyond!

    idk sony needs to fix this you must have ps plus to play multiplayer online its kinda stupid why change it up now just go back to free online an make if u have ps plus u get better online experience better servers i love sony an i will be getter the PS4 but some people wont be paying for that might loose a few customers. can’t wait for kill zone day one buy for me all the way

    Hello Sony,

    I’m here in utter disbelief and disappointment.

    Your conference, although boring, was going excellent with the announcements, however, they Buy PS Plus to play online? That was a backstab to a pretty earlier supporter like me.

    You spent the last couple of E3’s using the “Free Online” argument against other companies just so that you can do the same thing some time later? Isn’t that EXTREMELY hypocritical?

    I do not condone this tactics. Payed Online is as bad as DRM’s. I would be ok if you say something like: Cross game chat is PS Plus only, or something like that, but you are removing the freedom of choice out of people without the means to maintain a subscription, and let me tell you, those people have been supporting you for a long time. You are forcing people to choose your way or the highway, unlike it currently is. An open/democratic environment in which PS Plus users can coexists with non-PS plus users in fair terms.

    I really hope you reconsider this position because you lost a big fan with this decision. My voice and comment will probably get lost within the sea of comments and probably nobody will read this and care, but at least, it gives me peace to at least try to fix things.

    Already pre-ordered mine but a couple questions.

    1. Is it still a 2.5″ HDD? What’s the max capacity?

    2. Will Playstation Plus become inherited for sub-accounts, at least for multiplayer?

    All my trophies are on my sub-account and not having 2 plus memberships would be nice. Too bad I can’t merge the two accounts >.< I made purchases on master and sub account.

    3. Would we be allowed to change PSN names, at least once, when getting a PS4?

    Large Playstation Plus libraries make creating a different account hard. I didn't create my accounts when I thought people would need to say them either. I'd pay.

    4. Will sub accounts have restrictions from sharing compared to master accounts? Will sub-accounts get facebook options? Would be great for games supporting facebook friends.

    5. Any plans to increase the friend limit?

    I saw the E3 con twice and still blow about it, and the price is one of the best part of it 399.99 you can’t beat with a stick. We games out of the butt or launch and more. I was praying for FF15 and vs and didn’t think they and Kingdom Hearts 3 as well. 2014 well a great year for PlayStation fans.

    Like the design…looks like the same size as the PS3 Slim correct?

    500GB Hard Drive is pretty good but I suspect that PS4 game data will take up more space so I’m guessing that the drive could be upgraded like on the PS3,

    My pre-order is already in!

    Started looking at the Nintendo press conference.
    They started to show Pokemon, Mario 3D, MArio Kart… Yawwwn.
    Wake me up when this is over. Also started to show bayonetta 2, still not interested in that game, more in MH3U and Zombiu. Again, Mad Max and.. Daylight.. is it, looks remarkably better.

    What’s this game called? X.
    WOW, looks better than Titanfall of the Xbox One!! Hahaha OMG.
    I wonder if it’s actual gameplay, it looks that way anyway.
    Wii U games looks better than ANY Xbox One games, that’s sooo sad..
    (minus BF4, but I think it was the PC version, they switched it in between when it bugged on Xbox One, I think, cuz it’s a landmark superior to the rest)

    PS4 still reigns supreme.

    I’d just like to say that was a GREAT presentation! I will be pre-ordering in full as soon as I get out of my doctor appointment today. As for the ‘paying’ for multiplayer, I don’t think they changed a thing. If you buy used games even for PS3 most games require you to pay $9.99 to play online. So, based on that, it seems to me that having PS+ only means you won’t have to pay the fee, that’s awesome!
