  • Thanks for Virtue’s Last Reward Morgan! Can’t wait to play that. Hope the July outlook is going to be awesome.

  • Oh Yeah! ooooHHHH YEAHHHH! Finally!

  • And it was because of these awesome Vita deals, that I finally subscribed to Plus.

  • wow fat princess and escape plan for $3.75 each is great, been waiting to pick up those two for a while and now I will finally get the chance yay.

  • Can’t wait for Virtue’s Last Reward tomorrow ^-^

    • Remember, we’re going to be in PSN Maintenance mode tomorrow. However, the PS Store will be updating later this Monday evening. Check in the Store later tonight, and you may already see Virtue’s Last Reward set to free for Plus members, but make SURE it’s showing up free.

Otherwise, you can wait until the maintenance is all clear tomorrow, then download away.

  • PLEASE people take note. You need to play 999 before you play VLR. Trust me.

That being said, I’m pumped for that Fat Princess sale. I was hoping for a Hotline Miami discount, but oh well.

  • Hey Morgan, any chance we’ll get some teases for the July free games on the Blogcast this week?

And 60 cents for Hydrophobia: Prophecy? Might have to get that.

    • I don’t think we’ll be moving forward with that format on the Blogcast. I may show up from time to time to discuss some other Plus or PSN related topics, but as for the monthly reveals; I think we’re going to stick with fully announcing on Mondays.

  • Nothing for me this week :(.
It’s been a good month though with the other ps3 instant games though :)

  • $0.60? Might as well make it free! Thanks PS+

  • xFuzylilManPeach

Been excited for Zero Escape this whole month! :) and you cant beat $3.75 for Escape Plan, looks like ill finally give it a try tomorrow. Thank you for an awesome month of PS Plus!!

  • The video embedded says, ‘the uploader has not made this video available in your country’ (Canada)
Not exactly nice, but I’ll look one up that isn’t restricted to the USA.

  • You guys should make weekly articles on the Top 20 most played games of the week on PS3 and PS Vita. Would be interesting to see which titles are the most popular on PSN.

  • Wow, this is a great week for the Vita. Muramasa Rebirth, Hotline Miami, free Virtue’s Last Reward, and an amazing discount for Escape Plan,

  • Zero Escape is good and all but i really hope you guys start to think more about the Ps vita owners. The Europe had Metal gear hd collection (in the past), Rayman Origins this month and in July they’ll have: Ninja Gaiden and Unit 13.
So guys, PLEASE, bring us Unit 13 or MGS HD Collection. PLEASE ! We really need great games on Vita.
And i really hope you guys answer me this time.

  • Is fat princess PSP version compatible with Vita? wasn’t even in the store last I checked….

    • Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake is not playable on PS Vita, only PSP; so yeah that hasn’t changed since last time you checked.

  • Virtue Last Reward is the last reward for PS+ Vita this month. lol
And oh, we need more PS+ PSP discounts. Really, the PSP games are promoted better that way i think.

  • Everyone who hasn’t played Virtue’s Last Reward yet is in for a real treat. What a fantastic free game. And it looks like I’ll finally be getting Escape Plan and Fat Princess! Very cool. I wonder if a Fat Princess Vita annoucement is due…

Anyways, should I get the PS3 or the PSP Fat Princess?

  • That’s great! Looking forward to Zero Escape! PS+ is, by far, the best service there is for true gamers! Glad to be a subscriber!!!

  • **Morgan, Kristine, any SONY staff member**
    Please read:

May we please have some insight as to the reason why the entire PS1 & PSP libraries that are currently available through PS3 store, are not currently available on the Vita store?

Many of us here ask weekly questions about a rather large number of titles, but never get any answers in regards to them. If we do get an answer, it’s something like “we do not have any information on that title at this time.” “Or, ask the developer” for said title…well we do, but shouldn’t Sony be doing their part in getting these games on the Vita? You his already want us bragging to our friends to buy one ala referral plan…

I for one would love to convince someone to buy a Vita. There are currently so many people nay saying the Vita & calling it a dead console or just a $250.00 controller for the PS4..

Something needs to be done to reVITAlize your handheld, and fast.

  • I really hope that we also get Battlefield 3 in July like Europeans. And in case that no one at SCEA knows why, here are the reasons :
*It could get people into Battlefield. Like you got me into Darksiders and Borderlands when they were added to the IGC. Because of that i bought Darksiders 2 and Borderlands 2
*Battlefield 4 is around the corner so almost nobody is going to buy BF3 when a new version is coming soon

  • Also, I love it when you offer games on Plus that people wouldn’t normally buy! Keep it up, guys! :D

  • Totally out of context here but…the PS4 must get TitanFall, as far I know, there’s no exclusivity rights to be on the other console, I hope Sony recognize the enormous potential of this franchise and do something to make it happen on ps4. Looks like the team as Respawn is too small to handle multiple ports, I don’t think It really matters as to when the game comes to PS4 but it must be announce soon. I’m not in favour of supporting the other console but TitanFall and Killer Instinct alone would make me buy one.

  • I voted for Virtue’s Last Reward in the poll even though I have it because of how great a game it is, but the Fat Princess and Escape Plan sale are very much appreciated as well.

  • Escape Plan for US$ 3.75, amazing.

  • Hydrophobia: Prophecy for 60 cents ? that is pretty much FREE really. i got it for 2.99 its def worth it. ppl better get it for 60 cents… also pool nation only 5 bucks for ps members is very nice. il be getting it for 8 bucks. fat princess for 3 bucks ? it was worth 15 to me. also the Creat Studios Summer Survival Pack , thats a lot of games for that price. there all like 9.99 each alone. also the STORE UPDATE will be TONIGHT not tommorow, for thise that did not know. due to maintainence.

  • Are we going to have a demo for Pool Nation ?

  • Thanks. Will put this in my d/l list for when I get a vita again , around the time I get a ps4 .

  • A day-one discount for Hotline Miami would have been cool.

  • Looks like im buying Escape Plan, Hotline Miami, Fat Princess and getting Virtue’s Last Reward… so many games … so little time!

  • Nothing interesting for me, but I need a week to breathe after this month. Great time to be a Plus member. Bring on July!

  • Anyone have any suggestions if i should get it for PSN or PSP (keeping in mind i don’t overly care if i am playing real people or bots … to me it seems funner as a portable game, but dont want to miss out on anything if the PSN version has more to offer). Is the online community for Fat Princes PSN still good?

  • Since February the quality of sales has really improved I find, we now get more widespread sales, some competitive pricing, bundles and flash sales. I am not always interested in the stuff offered but there is more then like one thing that has my attention unlike before when it was a deal or interesting content I only looked forward to once a month. My only complaint would have to be I don’t always have enough money to get everything I desire in time now lol.

  • Hydrophobia: Prophecy will change the way you look at every other video game that uses water – unfortunately, it makes them all look painfully bad in comparison. What they do with water and how it moves and interacts with the environment is stunning for its realism – you won’t believe how bad water in other games has been until you’ve played it.

Unfortunately, it’s too short, and the plot isn’t fully developed. It’s a lot more than just a tech demo, but not quite as full an experience as I’d like. But for less than three quarters, there’s no risk here – check it out if you haven’t already!

Not much else for me this week, as I don’t have a Vita or PSP, and I’m not sure the other discounts are interesting – but it’s been a great month, so I can’t complain, and it’s good to see some love for the other devices. Hopefully when the PS4 hits, we’ll still see plenty of PS3 content in Plus for at least a couple more years.

  • People ahould buy Hyxrophobia at that price. Its an interesting game that tried something new. Its not bad, not great.

Hey Sony. Fat Princess on Vita please. New, port, don’t care. Just want one.

  • here comes some senseless violence with hotline miami, I love the soundtrack that game brings

  • Wow what a month. I’m still sooooo far behind in my gaming because with my ever-increasing backlog (and my trophy hunting haha) and PS Plus isn’t helping with that lol. Keep it up Plus team, and we could ALWAYS use more sales!

Morgan, according to Paul Sullivan over on the PSN Maintenance post, the store is updating later today because of tomorrow’s maintenance. I’m assuming this includes the PS Plus update as well?

    • That is correct. So technically, these updates will be available later tonight when the PS Store does a special early update. Though I don’t know exactly what time tonight the update will be.

  • Nothing for me this week. I’m just going to wait for the discounts. BTW, thanks for the 5 bucks, Sony.

  • @MorganHaro can you explain to us why NA cann’t get the next month PS+ lineup weeks ahead of time like EU does. It’s an honest question. I just don’t understand why they can get a preview weeks before and we can’t.

    • Kinda just the way it is man. It’s our announcement schedule, and we like to frame it at the start of the month. Plus, I like to make sure everything is as locked in as can be. Would rather the information be correct and timely, rather than rushed and anger you guys if it turns out that something needs to change.

  • Sweet! I have heard nothing but stellar things about Virtue! Really looking forward to trying it out. Thanks Sony!

  • PSN asia’s july ps plus have 2 vitas and europe got 2 vita games too! PLEASE NO MORE PSP GAMES NEXT MONTH!

  • I only got ps vita console having 1 vita a month is not worthy! I’m beginning to regret subscribing here for 1 year, I should had stick to asia or changed to europe.

  • Can’t view the video from my country WTF I’m in Canada and this is a NA update

  • I sure hope my PS3 can recover after the issue with 4.45 firmware last week :(
Nervous about Thursday and the hopeful fix…

  • I wish all the Escape Plan DLC got a discount too =/

  • “the uploader has not made this video available in your country”

  • Dragonslayer_023

Literally the best PS+ update of all time.

  • Never played VLR, so I’ll download it, but I won’t touch it until I at least beat 999.

  • @9 It WAS free for plus Day 1

  • PLEASE NO MORE PSP GAMES NEXT MONTH! asia/europe vita users are getting 2 vita titles per month! Why can’t the NA? US plus is very terrible for vita users only!

  • I heard that Hydrophobia is one of the worst PS3 game ever.
