Although they’ve shared the same planet for thirty years, the Vektans and the Helghast are now on the brink of war. With both factions eager to protect their home and reclaim what they believe is theirs, trust has reached an all-time low. The wall built to separate both sides can no longer contain the enemy.
In Killzone: Shadow Fall, you’ll serve as a Shadow Marshal under Vektan Security Agency director Sinclair, who has you perform the difficult missions that ensure the balance remains tipped in favor of the Vektans. But Echo, an intelligence operative for the Helghast, has similar orders – and she will stop at nothing to accomplish them.
To bring these two key characters to life, we are very pleased to have secured the amazing talents of David Harewood, who plays Sinclair, and Jamie Gray Hyder, who has taken on the role of Echo. David is a British actor best known for his role as that other intelligence agency director – David Estes, the deputy director of the CIA’s Counterterrorism Center, in the critically acclaimed television series Homeland. Jamie is a young American actress known for her breakout role as the werewolf Danielle on the award-winning television series True Blood.
Witnessing how these characters came to life, with both David and Jamie lending their physical performance, voice, and likeness to the role, was a fantastic experience for us. We can’t wait to show you more of the performances and storyline of Killzone: Shadow Fall.

I really like the detail in the faces of the two characters. It’s visually stunning.
Hopefully Guerilla Games announces more details on the multiplayer and how long the single player is aiming to be.
Nice. Just hope the story and dialogue are on par after the completely forgettable KZ3. Though I shouldn’t say forgettable because the ending of KZ3 was memorable for being one of the worst I’ve ever encountered in a game. Yet to see anything really compelling, even the scene with the bomb lacked punch. That section should be harrowing, make a lasting impact.
Hoping we see the MP real soon too since for a lot of people that is where KZ:SF will live or die.
The release date for the PS4 and kz Shadowfall cannot come soon enough ;-)
I am really anticipating the reveal of multiplayer for Shadow Fall! Killzone 3 had some of the best multiplayer ever! Between Warzone and Operations, I was hooked for months!
I hope that Operations mode get expanded immensely, it was a really cool idea, but with only a couple maps, it felt very repetitive.

They’re honestly the only decent characters left in the Killzone Franchise that haven’t done something irredeemably stupid or killed. Do note that I’m extremely biased in favor of them returning.

Story and characters have always been underdeveloped in the previous Killzone game so it makes me really glad to see a stronger focus there ahead of Shadow Fall’s release. Looking forward to it!

I hope lots of care has gone into crafting a compelling story on top of all the awesome this game has to offer. Story has really been Killzone’s only weak point for me. Well that and the watered down experience of Killzone 3 compared to Killzone 2.
Hmm….. I’m wondering if this story only focuses on the ISA side of the fence. I would really like to play as Echo. It would really be awesome to finally play as a helghan. I really hope this game would be a dual story. It would really bring up the franchise’s weak point which is story.
Man I can’t wait for this game! Characters look amazing and I have no doubt that the acting will be top notch. I just hope u get the story telling perfect. As some other posters have said, the delivery of the story has been a bit lackluster and it makes it hard to care for any of the characters. KZ3 had one of the worst endings I’ve ever experienced in a game. Please make sure that story is the best it can be. Not cheesy.

i would like to see a bigger(longer) maps in operation mode and more objectives something like Rush mode in bf3 or as combat mission in MOH,it will be a longer match.now it is more like demolition in COD.

I dont care who does the voices, i Kind of don’t care how awesome the graphics look.
I just want one game where the mouths match exactly what they are saying. Billions of dollars spent on games and actors and those little balls for copying exactly how they move, yet it still looks stiff in any game. I just cant believe that no one has figured out the mouth and face emotions.

Guerrilla you have a great card to play. PS4 seems it will be even more successful than PS3 (PS3 will probably do better than PS1) and you are a The best exclusive launch title to the console. You can make Killzone as epic and successful as Uncharted/The Last Of Us/LittleBigPlanet/God Of War (Gran Turismo is too high to be reach). Killzone Shadow Fall will my first PS4’s game. Even before AC4 and Watch Dogs…

I’m not always a fan of getting tv/movie actors to do voices in games, I normally think voice actors do a better job but they seem like good picks

The graphics look incredible. Please tell us more about theactor/story and tell us about the multiplayer. So we can get hyped and excited more for this game.
I hope you listening, I want fully customization characters in multiplayer. I want the option to choose if I want to be male or female african or asian in multiplayer. I want the character in multiplayer to truly feel like my character. When some one can truly feel that the character is their character. People will play the multiplayer for a long time IMO.

@31, I recently upgraded my TV to a Pansonic Viera HDTV with 3D support. For a long time, I’ve been convinced that 3D is just a gimmick. Well, it may be a gimmick but it is *really* cool to play 3D games — especially with the Move. I am INCREDIBLY excited to play 3D games with the Move now that the PS4 Eye itself is 3D capable.
I just wish there was a “Deluxe” bundle with the PS4 Eye and two controllers.
David Harewood is an excellent choice and quite an accomplished thespian. It will be interesting to see if he uses his native British accent or the American version more familiar to Homeland and BF3 fans.

I just keep getting more and more excited for this game. Can’t wait until the PS4 launches and I can finally get my hands on the next-gen. This and Watch_Dogs are at the top of my “play at launch” list, with Diablo 3 and Knack close behind. Possibly The Order: 1886 as well.

The only thing I hope is that they improve the sounds in the game.
I know that this is not Gran Turismo, which REALLY needs an improvement in that area, but as far as I can see, or hear, the only Killzone that actually has some decent sound is KZ2.
I remember playing KZ3, totally excited about the fact that I had a new HT at the time and I was going to hear everything from every single direction, with a lot of power and all… and I did in some ways, but there were SO MANY situations where the sound was missing little details, enviroment details and seemed like there was something wrong.
I don’t if I’m the only one with that sensation, but my brother in law has the same feeling about it.
But again, looking forward to it.

Why is it that western developers are unable to come up with new ideas and they’re so centered on grophikxxx instead of making a good game? Western developers, are all your games linear set piece hallway corridors full of QTEs, with focus on flash and presentation over substance, gameplay and fun?
These crappy FPS have got to stop! Playing the same game over and over and over since FPS are all the same, doesn’t that get freaking boring? FPS are for the lowest common denominator mainstream gamers. Sorry but I am not easily fooled and it takes far more than grophikcxx to impress me, especially since art style is far more important. Why is it that western developers almost always suck?
I hope for Japanese games to make a comeback, since that is where almost all of the creativity and quality comes from.
Ill hold my breath on the story. To be honest out of all the KZ games KZ1 seem to have the better story. Please as I fan I beg of you dont let another rico happen. He is proboly the worst thing ever to happen to KZ.
