Dragon’s Crown

(Also on Blu-ray / PS Vita Game Card) — Dragon’s Crown thrusts you into a fantastical medieval world packed with labyrinthine dungeons to explore, vile monstrosities to smite, and nearly endless online adventure. Your mission is to dive into the dank underworld, uncovering treasure and strengthening your mettle as you unlock the secret behind the ancient dragon threatening the world. Simple, easy-to-learn controls allow anyone to dive into the fray and enjoy the breathtaking sword-and-sorcery action. In addition to long-lasting gameplay, the game also features a vast array of character customization features – with six wildly different classes to play as, raiding the catacombs for epic loot remains fresh and engaging.

Although intrepid adventurers can certainly enjoy Dragon’s Crown on their own, the real excitement begins when four players team up online for a four-player cooperative mission. And don’t expect the portable Dragon’s Crown to be scaled back in any way: The game will offer the same fluid hand-drawn animation, blazing special effects, and haunting soundtrack on both PS3TM and the new PS Vita, with some special interoperability features between the two versions to be revealed at a later date.

IbbandObbTitle-300x300Ibb and Obb Ibb and Obb is a two-player game. You have to work together to find your way through the non-newtonian world. Gravity isn’t what it used to be. In the bottom half of the world gravity is reversed, enabling ibb and obb to walk on both sides of the floor. You can move from one half to the other through warps in the floor. The layout of the level creates all kinds of puzzles which you’ll only solve if you work together. Collect the diamonds on your way through the world and earn more if you play fast and work like a team.

Superfrog HD (Cross Buy / Cross Play) — Superfrog HD is a 2D amphibian platformer that is an HD remake of Team17’s classic Superfrog, which was released in 1993 on the Amiga. It will feature all-new graphics and will be appearing on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

Tales of Xillia Tales of Xillia follows Jude Mathis, a clever medical student attending school in the capital city, and Milla Maxwell, a mysterious woman accompanied by four unseen beings. Players will be able to choose either Milla or Jude at the outset of their adventure through the world of Rieze Maxia, where humans and spirits live together in harmony. The kingdom of Rashugal has been experimenting with a powerful device that has been draining the mana from the world. Realizing the harm it is inflicting on the world, Milla and Jude set off on a journey to destroy it and restore the mana back to the world. Over the course of the game their lives will intersect with a vast ensemble of characters that will teach them the strength of unwavering conviction.

Tales.of.Xillia.full.755116Players will engage enemies with the critically acclaimed Linear Motion Battle System that the Tales of series is famous for. The system allows for real-time movement and attacks, giving the player a more tactile role in the midst of fights. The battle system in Tales of Xillia has been upgraded to Double Raid Linear Motion Battle System to let two characters combine their attacks to utilize devastating dual-character attack, letting fans strategize the best party setup for their style of play.

  • The Drop that announces that Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops is being added to the Vita store will be the greatest Drop ever.

  • when will there be a pre-order on the store for Saints Row 4

  • Gotta ask why can Europe pre order Tales of Xillia and Dragon’s Crown on psn but we can’t did the NA region do something wrong.

  • I second what #3 neuropunk said about the games! I care more about the download list.. I have over 1k files to look through.. My 750 gig hd is has like 20 gigs left to spare.. So I have tons of games and it’s hard to find them sometimes. Especially when you are messing with your Vita which I have over 200 gigs of stuff I can play on it but only 2 32gb and 2 8 gb cards to put the stuff on.. CMON SONY please help us with this.. PSN needs this fix.. I beg you!

  • Oh and I’m not paying for a ps+ membership again until something good comes out and I hope it’s soon because I like having the little plus next to my name heh. Plus I can’t play the free games until I’m a member again! So hurry up and put something worth reupping my membership again!

  • So excited for Dragons Crown! Will definitely be getting it on both the Vita and the PS3! Need to support VanillaWare!

  • Dragon’s Crown can’t be cross-buy or discounted because Sony isn’t the one publishing the game, it’s not their decision. Plus it almost didn’t get developed because Capcom rejected picking it up and Ignition Entertainment had to drop the title out of financial reasons. The only reason we’re able to play it is because Vanilliaware is composed of former Atlus devs who were able to get Atlus to pick up publishing for them. I’ll be picking it up for Vita, I’d rather use touch screen for revives and picking up runes than having to swerve the right analog stick.

  • I am getting Dragon’s Crown, been looking forward to it since before the Vita was released. Only thing that bugs me about getting the game is the unnecessarily revealing female forms. I love the female archer though and will most likely play first as her. I love the female body, but they just took it too far. Going to have to play this game when my girlfriend’s asleep.

  • Dragons Crown day one, Xillia can wait, I still have graces f to get through

  • I’m a fan of rpg’s and enormous breasts, so Dragon’s Crown sounds perfect! I already preordered Tales of Xillia as well. I can’t wait until tuesday! To anyone that considers themselves an rpg fan at all, you need to buy TOX. The Tales series is amazing and way better than anything square Enix has released in a decade.

  • The Red Star definition seems to be one from another game.

  • Yeah. It seems that the description for The Red Star is inaccurate. How did that get past the editor?

I’m excited for Dragon’s Crown! It’s been on my radar forever and to have it this close to release is maddening. Hurry up and buy!

  • Lol@ Rey Gutierrez

C’mon man. You’re not even trying with these drop posts. The Red Star definition is a copy and paste from last weeks ps2 “classic” drop. That’s just depressing……

  • Tales of Xillia…! I’ve had it pre-ordered for weeks!

  • FOR THE LBP 2 GAMERS-TRY The House of Frustration PLZ =)

  • Got two Collector’s Edition copies of Tales of Xillia pre-ordered… planning on playing one copy all day Tuesday, and saving the other to eBay in a year or two. :)

  • @73 (the-tamarindo)

I am anxiously awaiting Tales of Xillia and Dragon’s Crown for my ps3 to come out Tuesday!
They will be awesome early b-day presents and I can’t wait to play!

    I think I’ll pick Jude first. I think it’s cool he’s a med student.

  • any chance Tales of Xillia will be in digital download? please say yes

  • Tales of Xillia will be mine this week (and I only just recently started Time and Eternity)!

  • This drop sucks.

  • Dragons Crown day one, ps plus discount plss :)

  • Yeah, the + features really make me wanna pick up an EU account as well.. They got NFS most wanted, Mafia 2, lego LOTR for vita, and by some error – a free game too of nba2k13..

I sure hope sony gives us something half way decent on plus this month.. Last month’s jet set radio remake and bf3 fps trash kinda bummed me out to be honest. Like anyone who wanted bf3 hadn’t already purchased it unless they’re sitting there begging for mom’s credit card still.

  • If only Dragons Crown came with a cool Pre Order Bonus like the Stores do.

  • Man this update sucks. Then again, anything from SCEA sucks these days…and you all wonder why Nintendo is better then Sony. I hope that the WII-U destroys the PS4 and puts Sony’s gaming division out of business for good.

  • @estoc1

Nintendo?!?! You must be dreaming! The Wii-U has already tanked, so that’s never going to happen. Keep dreaming!

  • @klassymike
Vita tanked, But now it is good, Same thing will happen for the Wii U

Though i admit the guy you were replying to is stupid

  • Isnt Vita only good because they keep putting free games on it?

  • ROAD RASH : JAILBREAK (PS1) for my PS ViTA PLEASE!! :D

  • Please stop Dragon’s Crown, too many media are talking about this game, I am getting sick and tired of it.

Why don’t people talk more about Tales of Xillia, this game is worth every money, people who know games should purchase Tales of Xillia and not DC.

I have been waiting for Tales of Xillia for more than 2 years.

  • Even though i don’t like Dragon’s Crown but…

    @88

Stop b****ing about what people should and shouldn’t

  • @klassymike

REALLY? Nintendo tanking? Yeah right, buddy. You have proof. Wait until Nintendo’s heavy hitters come out late this year or early next year. Sony’s PS4 will fall behind the WII-U just like how the WII beat the PS3 for a long time, you cannot deny that.

  • The PS4 pre order sales have already topped Xbox one and the Wii-U, so as I said before, keep dreaming! Go look at the articles on IGN that states how Nintendo is losing money and how Sony just made a huge profit this last quarter. The numbers speak for themselves. Nintendo has already admitted the 3DS is keeping them afloat, not the Wii-U!

  • lol IGN, Sony actually were the people bleeding money from the PS3, It was until recently they made any profit

And again, Wii U is early in it’s life cycle, I’m sure PS3 also “tanked” like that or worse during it’s early life cycle

  • Tales of Xillia for me thanks.

    BTW

Those wondering why Tales is near the bottom of the list. Ask neroupunk. Lol

  • So glad Dragon’s Crown is coming out. Sooooooooooooooo lame that is it 50 and 40 dollars. That is MORE than double what I am willing to pay for that game. No worries. Patience I have!

  • @61, rabidninjamonkey, I laughed out loud at your comment. I just finished Tales of Graces f so now I’m a fan looking forward to Tales of Xillia.

  • @ estoc1

The Wii U Tanked at the very beginning for 2 reason Call of Duty and Halo 4. Video games that sold way more then a launch of a new gen system is bad news. Plus units for Wii U were available after the launch which means the launch for the game sucked while PS4 and XBox One are sold out everywhere. The only thing Nintendo has it going for them are games like Pokemon, Shin Megami Tensei 4 and Animal Crossing New Leaf.

  • It be great if there is section on ps store with your collection like on stream and not the stupid download list. Where you can see all your games. In download list I may downlaod demo and bought game (activation later) and need to find them separately to download them again. I have over 1000 item in download list. There must be an efficient way to sort things on store. Fix it Sony!

  • @95 viceforce – I’m sorry for interjecting, but I don’t think the ONLY thing Nintendo has going for them is Pokemon, Shin Megami and Animal Crossing. Nintendo still maintains a death grip on the handheld market (for gaming) and the 3DS has really picked up steam now and is moving at an accelerated rate. As it pertains to the Wii Uconsole, I think the jury is still out and we need to see how it does in another year before making the call. Media companies like to drum up business by making bold projections early on. Remember when EGM had a picture of a PS3 with a tomato smashed on it? PS3 was considered ‘doomed’ and now look where it is.

Since this is a PS forum, let me finish by saying it’s a killer week for games this week. Too bad they all are coming out at the same time.

  • Are either Dragon’s Crown or Tales of Xillia going to be midnight releases on the PSN?
    thanks!

  • My god man! Where’s the new “DLC” listed AT?! WHERE IS IT LISTED AT PLEASE??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
