  • We demand a reboot in this month list! Come on! April’s fools was like 4 months ago…

  • Well… Hitman: Absolution is good. Bit.Trip Runner 2 is also a game I will play, atleast for a day. Everything else really doesn’t interest me in the slightest. Particularly Darkstalkers, which is yet another PSP fighting game. I’m fine with PSP games, but the dead horse is being beaten with all of these fighters.

  • Is there anyway we Canadians can be traded to Europe, the US ps plus kinda sucks

  • I don’t think Morgan’s doing a bad job though. I’m still getting what I paid for, so I’m fine, really. I’m just really, really sick of fighting games for the PSP/Vita.

  • Terrible update!

I have defended Ps plus so many times but its just getting harder and harder to enjoy!

Indie games should be free on the vita ONLY. and at the most there should only be ONE.
That Leaves room for a RETAIL title, With Trophies.

PSP games, especially fighters, are horrible. They dont have trophies and they arnt using the full capability of the $250 Vita

Please put AT LEAST 2 AAA games on the PS3
Its shameful when comparing NA Plus to EU plus

NO MORE PINBALL OR PSP FIGHTING GAMES

    I love the Sales though.

    Truthfully,
Morgan you probably try to do a good job but i feel like your not listening to the community

  • I cant vote on my favorite offering from july because my favorite (nothing for me) was not an option. If you want real feedback then that has to be an option. If you only want positive fedback and want to censor out the negative then…. Youre doing a great job, keep up the good work!

  • @595 Thanks Ghostwize, appreciate it, it’s frustrating but glad it’s not just me, I never saw any announcement for this either. did you?

  • THE WORST MONTH EVER! Cmon guys, US PSN+ Fail!!!!

  • sad to see machinarium again, but glaad to see Dark Stalkers, That game rocks!
Also happy to see Hitman, Not something I would have normally purchased, but will gladly give it a shot. never know I might just like it lol.
Zen pinball starwars is pretty sweet (at least on my tablet) to i will totally be looking forward to playing this on my ps3.
all in all I am pretty happy with the psn plus so far.

  • @607 BRIT-KO Nope! I checked a bunch of other Sony forums and they all seem to be fine. Just the PS forums are inexplicably down with no announcement. :/

  • sigh* another indie and psp game month for vita… though that rayman sale got me interested.

  • @610 Ghostwize – Thanks again & thanks for coming back, apologies to everyone else for being OT here.

  • Pretty meh month aside from Hitman. Like most everybody else here I am jealous of the EU offerings and can’t help but wonder why they still get such better content. Whoever is in charge over there really knows what they are doing. Like most everybody else I don’t care for any more PSP fighting games either. I still get more than my moneys worth out of Plus so I am not bashing the service at all, just adding my thoughts and asking for equal treatment across all regions. Also you should have the EU Plus team teach the US team how to do it, they are really good at what they do.

  • Awesome update!, you gave me the excuse I need t to rener my PLUS suscription :D

    Thanks for that.

BUT how come you have all Rayman’s but my favorite!? Where’s Rayman Raving rabbids!!!!???? :(

  • Just bought a year of ps+ 2 days ago and after seeing the August content all I can say is……I should have bought a year of EU ps+ instead.

  • Was hoping for NFS or ninja gaiden 2, finally. Any news if we will get one soon?

  • Was hoping for NFS or ninja gaiden 2, finally. Any news if we will get one soon?
    For vita…..

  • I’m happy with plus but can’t help but to feel that EU PS PLUS are getting better stuff. This month They got 4 retail – NFS most wanted, Mafia 2, Spec Ops, LEGO LOTR(PSvita) And we got ‘just’ Hitman. It is a great game but I was hoping for more thean Just One.

  • Hitman is a good addition to the instant game collection. same as runner 2

I must say i am not a fan of receiving a game for ps3 or vita and a couple of months later getting the vita or ps3 version of the same game. feels….kinda cheap (u know like they should have been a single update altogether)

I love that u are still supporting the psp, (plz keep it up) i have nothing against fighting games but got to admit 3 (2 on my case cus tekken 6 is not on the Mx store, therefore i didn’t received the game btw not happy about it) feels kinda redundant specially when there is a huge list of games to choose from.

    Wishlist:
    NFS:MW
PS1 classics like MGS, FF, soul river, etc.
    Peace walker psp
    Odyssey to the west ps3
    okami hd

  • absolution is only worth playing for free. if even that. not a real hitman. this month is lame overall, the only good thing is Runner 2

@37, no closed platform can compete with steam lol

  • @603 I love that idea! Trade Canada to Europe! We still have the queen on our money it sure as hell isn’t a US President.

  • thanks for star wars pinball and vita games total 3 games for vita this month, hitman is just fine i hope the next month get free retail games for vita please ! i like to see NFS MW for vita

  • @ BlueBl1zzard, PrimeroIncognito & lisatsunami

Yea, It’s why I stopped debating with the whiners…I realized Sony was probably gonna charge for next gen MP, which they are….now I’m waiting for the new influx of crybabies who will whine about not only getting games for 3.5 consoles (PSP/PSV, PS3, PS4), but having to pay for online gaming now too…yea, you’re only getting free games on yet ANOTHER console, and getting better servers, all for the same price as before, but let’s whine it up a notch over that too…and what will be funniest about it is probably be the “obese Disneyland kids” coming back from X360 whining about having to pay to play online, when it’s what they’ve done for the last 6 -7 years, without the freebies.

Starting to think most of the whiners just need lobotomy surgeries. clearly something isn’t right up in there…

  • @mifemari

I bought Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus Vita 2 in hopes of being as good as the first.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus (first) on Vita IS PERFECT! Suspect to be better than the versions of PS3 and X-Box 360.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus 2 is HORRIBLE in Vita, the game has bad drops frames at various times. The graphics are ugly. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GAME. The developers have made an adjustment nut for the Vita and showed no interest in correcting! It was one of the games I expected to be beautiful to play on Vita and I had an average game in terms of technical quality.

    So:

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus (1): 10 Fantastic! Perfect! RECOMENDED!
Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus 2: 5,5 ugly, frames drops! EXPENSIVE = FRUSTRATION! I hope the developers correct all graphical problems (is just a, dream but…)

  • This isn’t a bad month but you guys have to understand when we compare what we are getting to the eu deal it does make us your primary hardcore gamer community upset.

Why can’t we digitally preorder Tales of Xiliia or Dragon’s Crown Europe could
Why is Europe getting the huge list of game son sale for the summer but our sale SUCKED
Why does it feel like Europe’s plus managers respond to their complaints but ours seem to go unheard
Why did Europe get a few good rpgs but we didn’t we requested them in a survey a year old survey
Why does Europe usually get 2-3 full ps3 titles with their plus update but we usually get 1 full ps3 title and 2 psn titles
Why does Europe get a revolving by weekly sale that usually rocks but we get the same boring weekly deals over and over and OVER or repeat items on sale. Where is our Knights and Witches sale
Why do we only have 5 replies to this post despite all our complaints

    Why Why WHY

  • since january when i first got ps plus i only downloaded 1 game all the rest of the games are aweful i cant wait until ps plus is done.waste of money

  • with Hitman Absolution (PS3) we all ready have Sleeping Dogs!

•Discount on the digital version of Sleeping Dogs

  • Loving NFS:Most Wanted. Best fun I’ve had with a racing title in years. Any chance on seeing one of the Transformers Games make it’s way to PS+?

  • YEEAHH just a few weeks and my subscription expires!!!

  • I forgot to comment on my opinion about this month’s PS+. I feel like this month’s is garbage compared to last month’s. Darkstalkers Chronicle is a horrible choice for a PSP game to put on PS+. Not only doesn’t have the replay value, it’s too old of a game and I’m pretty sure most people have it already (If you haven’t yet, where have you been when PSN had a sale for a bunch of Capcom PSP games?). Even Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny, Gods Eater Burst, and Metal Slug XX were better choices despite me having two of them already. The only thing I look forward to is Star Wars Pinball (I have yet to pick up Pinball Arcade because I don’t know if it’s fixed yet). Pinball is fun, nothing wrong with having some pinball on the go or at home. Maybe I’ll try out Hitman Absolution because I never played any of the Hitman games yet.

  • @Stranger_Eddie Speaking about Ninja Gaiden, I am thinking about getting Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 on PS3 since Sony finally released it on PSN 3 months back. So do you really think that’s the better choice than getting the Vita version in the future? I will buy it whenever I’m in a mood to play Ninja Gaiden.

  • Before THE EXPERTS talking about “babies”…

I spend more than 300 bucks in PSVita games…

And we only saw 4 SEQUENCE STUPID MONTHS OF FULL OVERPRICED MOBILE PORTS IN PSVITA!

E3.. NO PSVITA EXCLUSIVE GAME!… Only ANDROID PORTS, Only OVERPRICED PORTS!… And the STUPID “PSVita second PS4 marketing control”

    NO EXCLUSIVE GAME…

For me… I expend more 10 32 GB MEMORY STICKS for VITA GAMES… EXCLUSIVE Games!

So if you think there are VITA OWNERS HERE do NOT SPEND money BECAUSE BELIEVED in LIES like “… more than 80 games is comming to Vita in 2011… ”

And after TWO YEARS, 90% of the the Vita games library are OVERPRICED PORTS from IOS, Android… and to complete PSP EXTREMELY OLD GAMES for PLUS members!

If you and your friends LIKE TO BURN MONEY AND BELIEVE IN FALSE PROMISES, myself is one of the MILIONS of The Vita Owners around the world who likes to BURN MONEY IN EXCLUSIVE GAMES and is full pissed off seem this!

The REAL BABIES are KIDS who DO NOT FIGHT for your investments and like to burn money!

  • @Gamerzlimited

… My freind… DON´T EXPEND YOUR MONEY in Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus 2 for Vita!

    Unfortunatly:

The best Ninja Gaiden 2 version is X-Box 360… The PS3 version is nice… But …. NO BLOOD!… Only sparks!

If you want A LOT to buy the Vita version, wait for a huge discount!…

As I Told before: Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus (the first one) is FANTASTIC! << BUY! full respectable game!

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus 2 for Vita : TERRIBLE downframes and graphical issues! (or… wait for a developer miracles).

  • another one for the digital collection that i already have for more than a year and i haven’t even started with any of the games, not to mention my backlog of physical games, this is getting overwhelming, how am i suppose to get ready for the ps4 if you keep giving me games lol

  • Damn it all, I just bought Hitman last month and platinum it too.

  • Eh this is an okay update. Europe yet again owns our faces when it comes to deals. Maybe I’ll read online how to make PSN+ recognize me as a European customer because they’re getting NFS: Most Wanted, Spec Ops The Line & sooo many other great games.

    We get Hitman Absolution.

Yeah I think I might look into it ’cause Sony c’mon. And Rayman sale? Just do a Ubisoft sale—SORT OF LIKE WHAT EUROPE IS GETTING. They got deals for games like FAR CRY BLOOD DRAGON. C’mon man. Hitman is the easy way out IMO.

Maybe they’ll impress us later on in the month with more stuff ’cause this is sort of lame.

  • I am so EXCITED !!! I can’t wait !!!

  • @Stranger_Eddie AMEN…

  • Wow. You guys should get some money and buy some Vita games instead of hoping for a plus update. It’s like reading a blog full of comments by 12 year olds…

  • I only own a vita 299$ a 32gb 100$ I loved it and spent 50$ for ps plus FOR “V I T A” not psp. 32gb memory is 100$ it’s not a JOKE to spend that much for a memory card yet what we get is a psp fighting over and over? Spent 400$ for vita then we get a psp? what a joke. Should had spent it to PS3.

First I hated the ps vita / psp concept but later I hated more the ps vita indie / AAA psp title but this month this is the most WORST EVER, 1 ps vita indie and 1 psp fighting game (dark stalker) which considered as ancient psp title not even close to AAA psp title.

JUST GIVE US 1 PS VITA AAA to consider this ps plus worthy to vita owners.

  • @ 639 blakseed “You guys should get some money and buy some Vita games instead of hoping for a plus update”

My ps vita is more expensive than your ps3 and most of the ps vita games on sale I’ve paid are more expensive than on sale PS3 game too. We supported so much on vita yet what we get in return? So why the hell wouldn’t we complain?getting a very old psp fighting game is not just right not just this month but all the previous months.

  • @639 That’s just what I did xD
I said “Screw this update” and bought AC III Liberation and both MGS HD Editions.

  • Wow cant really believe all the whining over getting free games every month. So what if its not something you wanted because guess what???? If you want it that bad you can always just BUY IT……………..

  • You can’t be serious. How can you offer us Hitman Absolution, a game with technical issues that has left hundreds of people (at least) without the posibility of coming to an end, because the saved data gets lost randomly (the same for the Contracts Mode). At the same time, you are supporting the bad behavior of the company in charge of HA, because promissed on their official forum (http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?s=563c38ee688739184931ffe696d27f03&t=131742) to give us a solution but they have done nothing from the released date until now.
I consider this disrespectfull, specially coming from Sony…How is this possible?

  • Giving a lot of PS VITA games thinking people will buy the console is a big no no.
I will never buy it. Portable consoles is dead!! Sold my PSP and will never buy another… i’m happy with my iPad.

  • September update will contain Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty, or other shooting games…. or fighting games.
Only genres available for US PS+ members.

No puzzle, adventure, rated E games.

  • We only get shooting people, killing people, war games….. rated M games.

PS+ is not meant for kids, I don’t recommend getting it if you have kids as they cannot play any of the games.

At least in Europe, Chris Howe gives everyone something. They have all kinds of games, we only get one genre (fighting, shooting, war games) Morgan Haro must be one of those redneck gun owners, he sure loves shooting games and violent content. It’s all he will offer anyways.

Seems like they don’t care about what the community wants. Everyone has been asking for Catherine, Lego games, Batman, Need for Speed, etc…. but Morgan Haro doesn’t care, he will just give us war, shooting games.

  • Just posting to let the guys behind PS+ know that when my plus subscription expires in a couple months I won’t be renewing it. I subbed to Plus for a year for the first time a while back because all I heard was good things. But expriencing the service first-hand has been incredibly disappointi

Vita has nothing worthwhile and CONTINUES to have nothing. I have to buy all my Vita titles retail and Sony rarely encourages me with PSN discounts etc tied to Plus.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I don’t want PSP games for my Vita. I don’t care if other comments disagree with me. I’m not going pay for a service that boasts about how great it is when the biggest appeal to core gamers is a fraction of what they offer (online storage).

You PR people swear up & down about how you’re listening & things will get better but I’ve waited about four months and NOTHING has changed. With PS4 around the corner and online multiplayer requiring Plus I doubt this service will improve. So more PR speak with empty promises won’t sway me, sorry.

  • just got ps plus like 5 days ago and i already have hitman and bf3 :'( T_T

  • I gotta say…I’m pretty disappointed.
But if you are listening to feedback, please give us NFS. I’d be all over that.
