  • Good Update… but I expected two disc based ps3, hitman is good but Runner and Star Wars pinball game doesn’t interest me at all. Great discounts for all the Rayman games anyway.

Here is my whishlist for the IGC:

    Heavenly Sword
    Batman: Arkham Asylum
    God of War 3
    LA Noire
    Red Dead Redemption
    Final Fantasy XIII
    Uncharted 1 & 2
    Mass Effect
    Dante’s Inferno
    ICO/Shadow of the Colossus
    OKAMI HD!!!

  • Hey Morgan,

First off, gotta share that I’m sharing the Playstation Plus love on Slickdeals. I’m not even on Sony’s payroll :) Never doubt that tgpumpkin is Plus fan :).

To everyone else, BBuy has Plus on sale for $39.99 (annual). Great time to reup if you haven’t caught a past sale.

This month is not my taste, except for Runner 2 which is AWESOME (if you couldn’t tell by my avatar). If you haven’t jumped in everyone you have to take advantage of this while it’s free. It’s filled with raditude.

Only major complaint is Machinarium again? Ok, it was PS3 last time but it feels like double dipping. Just feedback. I’m still a fan. See above!

    Have a great day all.

  • And the Euro PS+ is better once again

  • @84: You are getting notice, a whole month right now.

  • hitman and bit trip are good, but I could have done without a pinball game, a psp fighting game, and a game we already got for ps3.

  • Wow this is a WEAK update, a game we already have, another medicore pinball game a freaking wiiware port I think, another fighter this time one nobody care about and another shooter sigh…

Hitman absolute is pretty much the only game worth a damn on there and I’m just sick of getting shooters, Machinarium is good but we got it last month.

  • @itachu

PS+ already put sports games up they had NFL Blitz and NBA Jam: On Fire Edition awhile back. As far as your saying is concern plus already inflated with laughter.

  • @43 Still, july and august lineup are horrible.
    i don’t think i’m going to renew.

  • Only one AAA game? Europe get at least 2 :(
    Well, it’s better than nothing…

  • Well the Rayman sale looks nice.

  • Mando44646
click the vote tab under the update and let your voice be heard

it is a shame we get side scroller games for ps3 every month and other regions get 2 or 3 full ps3 disc base games
it also sad that we have gotten 1o psp fighting games for our vita.

who ever pushes these updates should be fired

  • So better games on EU>>??? no cool bro’s no cool!!!

  • At least we get Darkstalkers, i would like to see something other than fighting games though.

  • Another PSP game… that’s lame

  • SONY: Guys, what will you like?

    Guy 1: RPG!
    Guy 2: RPG!
    Guy 3: RPG
    Guy 4: fps
    Guy 5: RPG!
    Guy 6: RPG!

    SONY: Did somebody say FPS?

Guy 4: Yes, I did, but I wasn’t being serious.

SONY: Oh, yes, you were. FPS for everybody!

  • Morgan is Tales of Xillia gonna have DLC like Tales of Graces f has ??? well …. ill find out tomorrow anyway if you dont answer its cool :)

  • Wait, it’s a fighting game? I didnt even know. Why do you guys even bother putting these games into the IGC? Is it just so you can say you’re giving away a free game every week? This may be the worst game you guys have ever added to the IGC. If you could even find this game in a Gamestop it would probably be 50 cents. Actually, they would probably just give it to you just to get rid of it.

  • no more fighting games for vita please guys =/ nobody wants them I would prefer velocity ultra or another genre

  • @DeathKiller49,

Europe also gets the bargin bin $10-20 games too. Doesn’t matter if they are AAA or not, they get the low priced games just as the US does. Their games get discount much faster than the US.

  • we want a full game maybe little big planet or ac 3 for vita would be a great addition :)

  • take this update back and give us something else . just look at the comments and you will see no one is happy.
and why do people say these games are free? if they were free you would not have to have a huge+ logo by your avatar

  • Hitman is good, but man… The EU Plus is much better… Maybe you could hear the people and see that we need different genres too

  • wow very great update ps plus for vita owner :sarcasm:
    let’s see….
Reg EU get Lego Lord of the Rings (Vita) and When Vikings Attack! (Vita)
Reg Asia get Ragnarok Odyssey (Vita) and DLC Discount 50% Ragnarok Odyssey(Vita)
and we got….. psp fighting game Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower and indie game Machinarium (PS Vita)
i think gonna stop became member ps plus, is not worth it
thx god Dragon Crown release this week

  • @103. I do not know if you are being sarcastic or not. I will give you the benefit of a doubt. This is not a month’s notice. We find out the day before (actually 5 days into). Europe knew the games that they were getting for August back in the middle of July. Again, why does NA not get the same notice? It is not a complaint per se, but a legitimate question from a customer who has supported Sony since the beginning…

P.S. I am not the only person who has this concern. Read the comments…

  • Again this update looks weak! Again just one Full PS3 Game that I will finish and thats all x(. Sad that every time I see some titles that are discounted on US PS+ , they are being or were added to EU PS+ Collection. Example :

Rayman Origins : discounted for US PS+ / Free for EU PS+
Mortal Kombat : discounted for US PS+ / Free for EU PS+
Catherine: discounted for everyone not PS+ / Free for EU PS+
    etc.

Again I don’t like such politics applied to US content for Plus, which is very sad . I know that PS+ will be required for PS4 MP thats why I remain on subscription, if it wasn’t this MP thing I would definitely not pay for such a poor subscription especially that IGC is advertised like it something everyone should have. Since the beginning of the year EU + is having better games in IGC and even better deals , idk why but it doesn’t feel right.

  • Really good!
I am so getting Hitman Absolution, Machinarium for Vita and Rayman origins for Vita too :D

Thanks Sony, developers and publishers for such great support!

  • Enough with the PSP fighting games already! We got like one for each franchise in existence.

That said, Hitman is good (I don’t know why some people here are calling it an FPS or a generic shooter. It is neither)

Star Wars Pinball is good too.

Runner 2? It’s very cool, but I’d rather have it on Vita. When the Vita version comes out, will we get that too? (will it be cross buy?)

  • @88 agreed. I want the digital future to be bright for Sony as well, but they really need to start being more competitive with the sales on psn and need to inspect the digital inventory more often. Too many overpriced old titles on the psn store.

Its hard for me to believe this will improve when ps4 arrives unless they start working on that now.

  • Hitman is pretty cool. It’s been a LONG time since I’ve played a Hitman game.

But MAN, what an underwhelming month otherwise. Do these people just not understand that the VIta offerings have been utterly saturated with fighting games? Morgan says he listens & to us & passes the word on, but I have to doubt it. I mean… how… how does this happen? Really, Morgan, what’s going on here?

Also, they’re basically giving us a repeat with Machinarium again! Just because they’re now giving it out on the Vita doesn’t really make it a solid offer.

  • Next month Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning!

  • PLEASEEEEEEE SONY!!!!!!! ICO + Shadows of colossus next month!

  • I love the update Hitman should be a nice break from my recent delving into Skyrim. My Vita is getting a bit full so I think i’ll copy the apps to my PS3 or just to my PC so if I want to play them again later I can just transfer those games back to my vita. PS3’s still good should have about 100GB left. How long til it’s full i wonder? I’m paid up on Plus til 2015 and to be honest I’ll be buying another year or two after i get that PS4 at launch I hope. :)

  • Seriously? I bought Hitman Absolution Yesterday at EB…SOB

  • Edit: AND we just got a pinball game recently. Booo!

  • Maybe give out Ys Oath in Felghana for PSP next month Morgan … tell that to whoever’s in charge cuz Darkstalkers …. was a bad choice lol i mean … there’s an “HD” version for PS3! … not to mention on PSP that game’s controls are terrible! ….i’d give it a try on Vita though …. just to see if its better :) it must be… lol

  • bigsgg71
we get 1 days notice because they give us a crappy selection . they do not want to let us down so they keep it a secret so there people will join ps+

  • Dear @Playstation we love you. but please please stop with the fighting games :/

  • I’m okay with Hitman: Absolution, but that’s about it.

    Disappointing this month.

  • Sure, I’ll take Hitman: Absolution for free. Free is good!

    Thanks!

  • Morgan,
I haven’t posted on here before, but I felt I needed to leave some feedback about the past few months of Plus content. Now, let me state first that I think Plus is still a great value and I’m glad that I have it. However, I feel that there are definitely improvements that could be made to better the service. First of all, as many others have stated here, we’re not sure why Europe continues to get the much better value. They are getting 3 full PS3 games in August while the US is only getting 1. They routinely get at least 2 full PS3 games a month while we get 1. Also, we definitely need more variety in the types of games that are being offered. People have been asking for RPGs for a long time, but Demon’s Souls is the only one we’ve gotten so far. Some racing, sports, action ,and platforming games would also be nice as well. We’ve had far too many shooters, fighting, and puzzle games on here in recent months. There are many who are not into those types of games. I’d be interested to hear your feedback on these comments, Morgan. Thanks!

  • Hey Morgan, I’d like to suggest Red Dead Redemption to come to the IGC. Or even a great PS+ discount on the bundle with Undead Nightmare. This is one of the old titles that I’ve never been able to play, and it’s quite a while since the last sales on it.

Thank you for Hitman and the great price on Rayman Origins :D

  • Horrible update. Only one PS3 game? Next time, i’ll get european plus.

  • @114

    so true XD

  • Those that are saying no one is happy with this update really needs to speak for themselves. I for one (and many others) are happy with this update. But as far as the Vita owners go, I do see why you are disappointed too.

  • Games like Kingdoms of Amalur, Okami HD, or NFS: Most Wanted would be great choices for Plus in the coming months.

  • nice..hitman!

played the first 2 when i had a good PC for gaming back in the day, but havent played any since.

i knew i shouldn’t have bought machinarium on sale 2 months ago. oh well.

  • @LUISFGE8,

You should set your expectations on low. They as I can remember, have never given two disc based games in the same month. Other regions have, but not the US.

  • BTW I like the way you present the updates with the comings and goings in the quick list. Let Jack and Guy know I approve…lol Aso with the PSN updates too.

  • Vita gets shafted as usual though. blah…PSP games on my Vita, no thanks.
