  • Why do we get a pinball game when they have given out something similar in the past. Pinball is something we can all play on a pc even without internet connection. Looking forward to Runner 2 and trying out Hitman. Looks like I’ll be grabbing Rayman Origins as well for my ps3.

  • EscapeVektor, Superfrog, Rayman and Rayman2: The Great Escape for me tomorrow! ^^

Thanks for Machinarium (PS Vita)! I was waiting for it!

And… Another fighting game? Well, I’m not into fighting games, but thanks anyway! I guess someone likes them.

And, I’m sorry trophy wh… I mean, hunters, but PS+ is about GAMES, not TROPHIES. Morgan, keep PSP games coming I love them.

  • @eXoZim-V7 – and the most ridiculous is PS Plus Asia only need to pay $30 a year

i hope sony change that garbage psp game with ps vita game :(

  • hey Morgan can we go back to when we didn’t know what we were getting tell that week, see you gave into them and they still cry about knowing what we get for the whole month so lets just go back to not knowing tell that week plz and ty for all the hard work team plus do.

  • Nothing really for me this month, however I do like the update. I own Star Wars Pinball and Machinarium which are both amazing and some cool deals. Last month I believe there was a game previewed about some farting orcs, is there any news on that?

Here are games I wouldn’t mind seeing in future months:

    Hoard
    Unit 13
    Metal Gear Solid Collection(Vita)
    Ragnarok Odyssey
    Dantes Inferno
Call of Duty: Black ops 1
    Playstation Move Heroes
    KIllzone 3 Multiplayer
    Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning

All in all I am still loving Plus, those are just titles I would like to see pop up in the future.

  • nice, i haven’t played a hitman game since PC. i’m talking pressing “A” to shoot and stuff lol. good update. good add as well with Machinarium, now i have both ps3 and Vita courtesy of ps plus. i will be picking up rayman origins vita as well.

    thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Man what a good month :)

Never played Hitman, but Runner 2 and Star Wars Pinball are great free games though and dat Rayman Sale is quite something (plan on getting Rayman 1, 2 and 3 HD for 5 bucks), not to mention that steal that was the 8$ price for Max Payne 3. Its nice there giving away the Vita version of Machnanium and with the future hope that they will make Runner 2 cross buy like Limbo makes it a solid month for the Vita too.

While I wish Rayman Origins Vita for free and the fact they are still giving away PSP fighters (nothing wrong with that, but the PSP has quite a library of great games, so maybe a GTA Stories tittle or GOW Ghost of Sparta would be nice) is disappointing, but other wise keep up the good work SCEA :)

  • Ah, Zen Pinball 2: Star Wars Pinball is nice too, thanks! xD

  • 1. Enough with those PSP titles, each month we get a PSP title. I don’t want 9 year old titles…
    2. Why can’t we get titles like MGS HD / Unit 13 / Mortal Kombat on the Vita?
    3. Why can’t we get the PS+ preview before the beginning of the month like SCEE?

I really hope to get some answers, come on Morgan, come clean with us?

  • I usually don’t complain but man this month is awful

  • also do what Rey Gutierrez does please don’t reply on this blogs, that what the polls are there for now, hate reading all them kids crying for nothing.

  • @298
I like PSP games also. But majority already played them before (i didnt, because i didnt have PSP).
But seriously, give PSP games is good, but just PSP and Indies like theyre doing is not good at all. Afterall PS+ EU gives better Vita games like Lord of the Rings Lego.

Im really disappointed. Also, too much fight games for vita. I want race games, rpgs, and other stuff aswell.

  • @thelookey6 – PS PLUS is 50 a year for thousands of dollars worth of free games. It is basically free. And with ps4 you have to have plus anyway to play multiplayer. Stop crying about it and just get it. It is silly not to have it,.

  • Finally we are out of July!!! I just loved the SummerBlast…

For the important part, thanks for Hitman, I almost bought it long time ago! And thanks for Runner2!!

I’ll try Star Wars Pinball (I think that it’s going to be a huge meeh like the previous pinball game) and well I’m to see if I grab something of the Rayman sale!!

  • Hoou…I’m surprised…Hitman?…thats really good but Hitman is a game I must have on retail….sadly.Anyway the others 4 games will make up for it…thanks Sony for this awesome update.

  • Usualy i hate if igc on vita gets psp game, but not this time with darkstalkera, thank you!

  • don’t stop with the psp game we all love them, just don’t give out fighters tho keep up with the great work.

  • + AvoidTalkingMice
    i have playstation plus and
it was not free so clearly you are just a fanboy that thinks sony will give you something free for being a cheerleader

free means free with no strings attached. and ps+ has a $50 string attached so it is not free no matter how you try to phrase it. just look free up on google for the definition

  • Would love to see day1 games get a plus discount. Especially games that don’t get the hype other games get *cough xillia *cough. Thanks for the pinball tables Sony

  • To those who say that do not understand the complaint about the PSVita owners …

Have on hand ONLY PS VITA! DO NOT HAVE PS3 (only PS VITA) and after TWO CONSECUTIVE YEARS BEGGING for Sony:

    “Exclusive games for PS Vita”
    “Exclusive games for PS Vita”
    “Exclusive games for PS Vita”

NOBODY gave a MINIMUM of attention!

      “How would you feel?”

  • at Stranger, then maybe you shouldn’t have gotten a vita, easy as that is how I feel.

  • This is the first month that I am not overly excited for any of the IGC’s games. I guess Bit.Trip is the best of all, but I would still rather have a different one. I understand us not getting the games I REALLY want (like DMC, or MLB The Show 13), but I was hoping that we could have gotten some older titles that I’ve always wanted to play like 3D Dot Game Heroes, the Resistance titles, or Kingdoms of Amular (spelling?). I am still very happy with the service though, I just hope we get a better game selection (especially compared to EU’s game selection).

  • Sure Europe gets AAA titles, we get indies and a game that was discounted a month after release because sales were slow due to the game being garbage. Another winning month of shut up and eat the trash we feed you wile your peers sit at the big kid table.

  • Well this update is about as meh-tastic as they come … not a fan of any of these. But hey, thanks again for completely ignoring the RPGs we’ve all been clamoring for (Demon’s Souls doesn’t count)!

  • @fresno, you’re not even a PS+ subscriber, and I bet you don’t even own a Vita. So that’s two reasons you have no say in the matter.

  • My feelings on the update
    Hitman: Looking forward to it
Bit. Trip: Also very much looking forward to it
    Pinball: No feelings on this.
Darkstalkers Chronicle: Seriously Morgan? The PSP has a huge library of games and yet you give us ANOTHER fighting game? If you’re going to give us a fighting game you could at the very least give us a native Vita fighting game, even then I still wouldn’t want it though. Since the Vita IGC began you’ve given us 3 Vita/PSP fighting games and this will be 4.
Machinarium: While I have been wanting to play this game for quite some time we already got the PS3 version in June. Surely you understand by now that the vast majority of Vita owners with Plus also have a PS3. Makes it feel like a slap in the face to us.
Also, why is the Vita version of Rauman Origins more expensive than the PS3 version? I have $6 laying around in my account so I had decided on getting the Vita version for $5 but then I saw that was only the PS3 price and the Vita version cost more. It would be appreciated if the prices were the same.

  • fresno75
come on you dont love psp games . if you did you would own the ones you want by now i mean psp games are like $4 each at game stop and some are even cheaper. what you shoul do is be honest and say do not stop with the psp games because you only have a psp and not a vita

  • Nice, I was planning to buy this game but never got the chance to do so because of pre orders. Any plans on whether we’ll get any PS2 HD games for free?

  • at clay I do to have a ps3 and a vita, been with plus sine day 1 and got me a vita few months ago cuz of plus, and at thelookey guess you don’t own a ps3/vita by Clay Logic.

  • fresno75 i have the slightest clue of what you are even trying to say. slow down and take a deep breath and phrase your statement again so i can understand what you are saying.
and still if you love psp games game stop has them for $4 or less and you can use a coupon and get them even cheaper

  • why buy psp games at GS when I can get 1 on my vita from plus.

  • Fresno75 you dont have plus so your vote doesnt count. Lol

  • Wow, best update in awhile, but the psp title is still lacking. How many fighters have you handed out on PS+ since it began? Too many. How many in the Vita lineup alone? Faaaar too many. Give us a little more psp variety. Metal Slug XX was an enjoyable surprise. You guys are headed in the right direction, keep it up.

    Thanks ^_^

  • @Lefoul-123 so I guess thelookey6 don’t have plus like me? so why not tell him his vote don’t count to?

  • Hm…

A bunch of PSN games and only 1 REAL game.

Whether you like the new, not really anything like the old series version, of Hitman or not, it’s been in the 20 dollar section of stores for many many months.

So this month we only get one real PS3 title and once again it’s old, bargain bin priced and worst of all, a stealth shooter.

Give us some flippin’ variety of game genre on PS3 already. No more Shooter style games please.

Zen pinball is fun, too bad you’ll have to actually buy the good tables, but they are worth buying (already bought ’em all)

PSP game, not thanks unless you start giving us RPGs (which many of us continue to plead for)

The other two titles aren’t even worth mentioning… yuck.

  • i thought it was gonna be need for speed, mafia 2 and spec ops?? but this will do i guess

  • Lookey vote dont count either. Happy now?

  • fresno75
because you only get 1 per month and if you love them so much $4 or less should be a something you would love to take advantage of. after all you love them because that is what you said so $4 a pop or less should be a no brainer. i mean if i could pay $4 or less for full vita games at gamestop i would have bought all the ones that i wanted.
and do u mean to tell me you will wait all month for 1 fpsp and not go out and buy those cheap psp games?

    wow

  • well, I usually feel bad when I complain about something that’s given “free” but this month is awful guys. :/ I wish Uncharted 1 & 2 would pop in. Thanks anyway. I will eventually play Hitman even though I finished it on PC in day one.

  • That’s a little bit better.

  • WOW JUST WOW

  • Would be really great if we got a NFS game for next month! Maybe some add-ons for CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS2 would be pretty cool for the PlayStation Plus members as well.

  • Lefoul-123
my vote counts because i have ps+ and everyone knows i do . and i will never log on to any website with my psn id that has my cc info on. sony got there ps3 hacked and pc get hacked every day so no thanks

  • Dude this is annoying. EU has gotten such better IGC than North America. I’m starting to get really annoyed that I bought a 1 year membership for these games. Why can’t we all just get the same games?

  • yes Lefoul-123 tyvm, and at thelookey cuz im cheap its why I goy plus in the 1st place lol so if your not cheap just go buy them vita games you cry about not getting in the IGC.

  • Thank you Morgan!

  • So Europe got 3 full ps3 titles 1 Vita cross buy titles and a full vita game all on the same day. I think the NA pllus team needs to take note we are tired of psn games for our $50 just give us what Europe is getting on their schedule.

    Entering PS Plus in July/August:

31st July: Need for Speed: Most Wanted
    31st July: Mafia 2
31st July: Spec Ops: The Line
31st July: Lego Lord of the Rings
    31st July: When Vikings Attack!

  • Trashy update. Where’s the NFS? Why EU is always beyond us?

  • Morgan,

I stated in post 75 that people were tired of pinball games just like they were a few months ago with fighting games. Did not realize that Darkstalkers is a fighter. Wow! Is there someone on the PS Plus selection committee that is a huge fighter/pinball fanatic? If so, can you tell him/her that, despite his/her enthusiasm for the genres, many of us would like a break and something else, like an action RPG. Especially for the Vita.

And please, just because my purchase/download history shows that I purchased the free content, I do that for every Plus offering. I hope that purchase histories for free PS Plus offerings don’t play a huge role in deciding what type of genres are given in the future. Give a lot of fighters, people will still purchase the free content, but may not necessarily play it, like me.

    Thanks again, though, for Hitman.

  • Morgan thanks for the update. This is a great list of games. Hitman was not on my list of games to try but for free I’ll give it a go. :) Bittriprunner is on my list. I held off on getting it waiting for the vita version. So hopefully this shows that something is happening with that. Either way I’m really glad I’ll get to try it.

Man Rayman vita for $7. That’s tuff. I sold my ps3 version in anticipation of legends coming out next month, but that price is hard to pass up. Did you know that Lost Planet 3, Rayman Legends, Killzone Merc, and Kingdom hearts Hd all come out like days apart? :D My wallet…
