Well… the only disappointing thing in this update is that there is no crossbuy option to the title Dragon Crown, (or at least a bundle containing both PS3 and Vita versions for a bit less greens than $80 bucks)…
I REALLY wanna buy the game… but paying $80 for both versions is just too much…
Honestly, I’ll wait to see if Atlus at least consider introducing a bundle, the game looks awesome, and it is a shame that owners of both PS3 and Vita (like me) are getting the worst deal of it all… Its not fair to choose one platform if both games were made to work together…

Which version gives a better feel to the game vita or ps3?
The more people buy Dragon’s Crown on Vita, the better.
Other developers will start taking notice that there is a desire for such titles and thus more system sales.

@ 102: I feel ya bud, this 90 dollars for both versions is putting me off on making a decision on buying one or the other. Personally I think 50 bucks is a bit much for a side scroller, (Though it looks awesome), however I really want it on Vita, but knowing I can buy the PS3 one for 10 bucks more is making me indecisive. Atlus should have made a discounted bundle. So unfortunately I may wait until they both come down in price.
Ok… I have to say again that the Month PS Plus update was awful!! Hope it starts to get better.
But I really enjoyed this Vita update for today. I bought Persona 4 Golden (when it was still 20,00), Dragon’s Crawl and Rayman Origins. I believe I will enjoy all of them.
I just did not buy Superfrog HD also, because it would be too much expensive for me!
Sony, you should keep getting PS Vita a good support like it received today! If the portable continue receving good games and promotions like this, and if PS Plus NA gets better (just listen to what people are asking for at the blog), it will for sure become a must buy portable!

I agree… I’m waiting to see if some friends decide to buy the Vita version (there is a “trend” going on right now… lolz) and if that happens I maybe jump on the bandwagon and buy too…
but what I REALLY want is to have both versions… so I can play at home in the PS3, and use the Vita when in “the road”…
Unless a couple friends convince me otherwise, I’ll skip this game for a while… and see if Atlus can make a smarter decision during the following weeks…
if they think the crossbuy option reduces profit, a bundle at least would be nice… no one would be harmed…

@108: I would totally buy them both for 69.99 in a bundle. No way will I buy them for 90 plus tax (if I purchase physical copies). This is the game that sold me on the Vita way back in 2011 so I have no problems purchasing the Vita version…however the PS3 one looks rad with my friends wanting to play co-op. I refuse to double dip on the game, so I may just buy the Vita version as I had planned for 2 years and wait for the PS3 one to be 20 bucks or something. It’s killing me twiddling my thumbs and trying to decide…(I’m such a moron eh? lol!) Atlas should have offered a discounted bundle.

I cannot download the hitman pack, error says I don’t have the space, though I have 28 GB free. stops on the first download of 7000KB…

The reason you can’t download the game is because for whatever stupid reason you need to have 2x the size of the download available. So in this case with Hitman being 17GB (downloading it right now) you need to have 34GB of space available.
It’s absolutely ridiculous as well as straight up bonkers I know. Them the breaks :(

Personally not a fan of JRPG, but it is good to see people happy out there, after asking so much for it.
About Hitman, when I bought it I had to delete a lot of games in order to install it. It requires huge free space to download and install. After installed, you get the free space back again. But it was an ordeal.
And for people asking GTA V digital, I don’t think is gonna happen. Hitman and UC 3 are huge downloads, but in one disc. GTA V will require 2 discs. It would be very nice to have such epic game on the hd, ready to go anytime. The same reason I’m going to trade my Red Dead for a digital one.
Hopefully we get to see some Dragon’s Crown or Tales of Xillia avatars next week. I want Dean and the Fighter from Dragon’s Crown along with Jude and Alvin from Xillia!
I just noticed we can’t access the PS Store on remote play anymore. Why was that removed? That was like the best feature!! I wanted to have Hitman ready to play when I get home “/

Allow me to explain why it’s “bonkers”.
Let’s say you’re downloading a 1GB ZIP file to your computer. You open up the ZIP file, and what do you do? You extract to another location on your hard disk. But the ZIP file still remains, so essentially that would require 2GB of space to download that file.
The same thing applies to PSN purchases on PS3 – you’re downloading a ZIP file to a temporary directory on the hard disk, and is represented in the “bubble”. When you “install” it, you’re extracting the files out of that archive to the game’s directory. The ZIP file does not go away while it’s installing. And when it’s finished, it deletes the ZIP file to free up space. However, if you’re downloading a PS1 classic, the ZIP file remains after installation, as that file is needed to copy to other devices like the PSP and PS Vita.

For whoever that want to get Dragon’s Crown, I highly recommend the Vita version. But it really depends which system you spend more time on. Can always wait for the ps3 version to have a discount or price drop. Vita games usually take longer to drop their prices.

I say this beacuse Hitman Absolution, as you guys inform, has 16.1GB to download. Byt even if I have 26GB free, it does not even download due to the lack of space unused. Does the space required double when a game is installed? If so, could you provide this information anytime soon?

Okay, I don’t know where to put this so I’ll put it here. I’m getting really annoyed with the tournament schedule in Hot Shots Golf World Invitational.
I’m currently at the G2 level and I have encountered several times where there has been a 1 hour gap between G2 tournaments. Why is this happening? There is tons of every other tournament grade in between as well.
There is no valid reason for this. It is very easy to always have a tournament scheduled inside 10 minutes of the previous one ending people can hop from tournament to tournament with little to no downtime.
Please fix this.

Oh wow good job. Another week gone and still no information about whether FFXIV:ARR will appear in the Pre-order section. Awesome company that loves to keep their consumer in the dark. huge update this week. picked up dragon’s crown and the red star. contemplating ToX and a lot of sales as well. looks like i’ll finally be checking out max payne 3. hopefully they release dragon’s crown avatars and more themes (the static one that’s already available isn’t really doing it for me).

i understand, i wish it was cross-buy too. however its not really sony’s fault, im sure they did bring it up, or would hope so, considering they want the vita to sell etc.
Vanillaware is a small company though, and atlus published the game. it was probably one of them that made the final decision, and this is vanillaware’s most expensive game to date, so maybe they thought it wouldn’t sell well (i believe they also went over budget?).
Like i said, maybe if they see it sells well enough, they can change their mind and award the ps3 buyers with the vita version free (usually how it works) or offer a discount.
Dragon’s Crown is solid has hell! I’m loving every single bit of this game. Definitely my RPG of the year, no doubt.

@115 gtav is going to be 1 disk for ps3 because of blu ray and 2 disk for xbox. Im hearing around 7-8 gb download for gta5 overall. So get ready lol.. Will it be day digital. none can say because none knows..

Im having the same VITA download issues that others here are describing. If my android phone had this many freezing issues, i wouldnt get one. And thats mostly free apps…. On VITA, These are basically $20 $30 $40 apps that we are trying to download. Unacceptable Sony. I’m no expert but this doesn’t seem like a heavy fix.

Wow!!! They’re actually trying this week. Tales of Xillia and Dragons Crown look pretty decent. They’re still ignoring the PSOne classics though. They could at least tell us if they’re done making those. There hasn’t been a new PSOne game in AGES.
I’m going to try and trade in some games at GameStop to get Dragon’s Crown on Vita, but I would really like it for PS3 as well. So disappointed that there wasn’t a bundle for the two together.
