  • Great store update :)

Bit.Trip Runner 2 is a lot of fun and it honestly was the game I was looking forward to becoming part of the IGC this month and man this game is great; awesome graphics, great retro-soundtrack and really tight controls all come together to make a very solid game. Been looking forward to Ducktails for some time and while I’m not getting it today, I will defiantly pick it up latter this week; loved the cartoon growing up and it being from Golden Age Capcom makes it a insta-buy.

That Vita sale you guys have is really great but most of the stuff I’m interested in is coming next week. But at least Katamari is a really solid deal for 4 bucks and Soul Sacrifice while well worth the 18 dollars, I expect it to be one of the “big” games of the IGC that you guys reset this November, so I’ll hold off on that. For anyone looking to Ridge Racer, you have to get the Gold/Sliver pass with it to get any solid content as ALOT of the game is DLC and the base game is lacking, so that 6.25 turns into 12-13.25 bucks with one of the passes. Still a okay deal, but something to keep in mind if getting it.

Keep up the great work NA PSN networker peoples :)

  • @ TJF588

Well, it obviously didn’t sink in.

Do you not notice the MANY who are sick of Ryumoaner and his disgraceful antics? You think it’s just me? You think this is all about the service being offered here? It’s much bigger than that. Funny thing is, nobody can enjoy the damn service with people like him around. Just pay attention to his comments and you should be able to understand exactly what he’s trying to do. Yes, he does it on purpose. Many have noticed, and many do not like it. He types his posts in a deliberately disruptive manner. Does it not matter to you that his posts are disruptive to harmony of the community?

He’s not complaining about the service. He’s going out of his way to be obnoxious, on purpose, to ruin the fun atmosphere because he’s miserable, and misery loves company. IT’S BLATANTLY OBVIOUS. For Christ’s sake TJF, I thought you were smarter than this. I shouldn’t have even had to explain.

  • Eh, I’ll keep a mind of it from now on, but I just know that whatever all he’s typed, it hasn’t left a taint on me. Then again, I start skimming sometimes, and maybe his posts have been caught in that oversight.

  • Been waiting for FFXIV: Realm Reborn’s release for months now. Phase 3 on PS3 was awesome and I can’t wait for Phase 4 and the pre-release early access.

Also, yay for Bit.Trip Runner 2: Electric Boogaloo. One more yay for those awesome Vita sales. This sale is probably my favorite content all year thus far, and this is only part 1.

  • The Online Pass Soul Sacrifice is included in this sale?

  • Finally I can get the Ducktales song out of my head, or get it further ingrained in there. Question who do we contact about PS2 classics, just have a few suggestions

  • It’s a little off-putting with Diablo 3 releasing almost a full year after it originally released on PC and it’s still a full-priced game… it should, at the very least, be a little cheaper than $60… I already own the PC version so i see absolutely no reason why i’d want to pay another $60 just to get a couple extra features that wasn’t in the PC version… so until it’s a lower price, i have no need to buy it…

The Tomb Raider sale price is nice though… too bad i already bought it when it came out… great game…

  • Is the payday 2 Lootbag dlc exclusively through pre-order?

  • @ TJ

I mean the way I see it, if I was a developer and saw someone week after week calling their games crap and trash, wouldn’t you feel a bit annoyed? I literally cringe each time I read his posts when a developer posts an update. Regardless of whether a game is good or not, you can rest assured this guy has something negative to say about something each week like clockwork. Its pretty annoying. Sorry, but he can post all his moronic remarks all he wants, but I will call him out on it.

I THINK he’s in his 20’s, I remember someone saying they knew him and said he was like 25 or something. That’s downright embarrassing if its true—and he keeps obsessing over anime games, I got a pretty good mental image of what he’s like, wouldn’t surprise me in the least if he had a waifu pillow(with dried up love stains).

Just don’t understand what this guy;s problems are. Does he have aspergers? Does he not know how to be civil and respectful? He clearly has no tact in his social skills.

  • I can’t buy the Tomb Raider bundle. Im keep geting the “We’ve encountered an error while processing your order. The transaction has not been completed. Please try again later.” On the online store and on console… what is happening?

  • @158 luvmyR6 – I do have no recollection of him calling out a positive, but again, nothing’s stuck with me from whatever he’s posted in the past. What has is similarly-handled counters. But, yeah, it’d definitely be difficult to not get a certain vibe from, say, being offended at the altered/cut content of Mugen Souls (rather than the topic of censorship at all, though I don’t remember his responses, only that he had any).

Hrm, I’ven’t commented about this week itself — just answers and unsecured allegations. Of what catches my interests…

  • – So when’s FFXI gonna be F2P?
    – Fruit Ninja is /how much/ WITH transactions?
    – BreakQuest’s is better, but how could an isolated player get more free plays if they run out of balls entirely?
    – The presence of Knytt’s soundtrack only reminds me that I still need to get back to beating it.
    – A MEDIATONIC SALE! Too bad I have them all: Getting M(P)SMP on sale prompted buying WTF?! full-price, and tried out 1TC through Plus back when non-trophy’d games were up for freebs. Definitely look into them for the humour; if none other, I suggest M(P)SMP (vertical platformer) for its aggrandized “protagonist”.
    – Now, perhaps back to more Perfect-plussing on BTPR2FLORA.

  • why I can´t BUY TOMB RAIDER BUNDLE IS getting ERROR,please fix it

  • Knytt Underground sountrack?! And for free?!!! I wanted this so badly for the last several months that I would have paid money for it! Glad to see it here finally and for free no less! :D

  • @PrimeroIncognito You ain’t the only one. I’m sick and tired of Ryumoaner too. I’m also sick and tired of DarthSchrader666’s negativity towards Sony, who is complaining about the service. I don’t care about digital pre-orders because they will be on PSN anyway and Sony is doing a decent job when satisfying their customers. Very soon, I want to grab a tombstone and smash their heads with it.

  • Do people even read the blog posts before posting?
20+ People ask the same goddamn question that have been answered, Sometimes even ones that can be answered with common sense

  • DIABLO III Theme? Avatar? DEMO? !!!
    Escape Plan DLC Sales?

  • I got a good question for you guys so soul caliber broken destiny became free a couple months ago so why don’t you allow us to have soul caliber five for free for PS plus

  • I’m grateful that Q-Games released the Visualizer app, as it fills a gap that Sony had surprisingly left void for far too long. I’d like to echo previous sentiments on how the few built-in visuals have gotten old over the years, and I had hoped that Visualizer would breathe new life into my music-listening experience.

One of the great features of the PS3 (according to me) is that it allows an .mp3 file to be played at the 44.1/88.2/176.4kHz sampling rate. Even with moderately priced home audio, there’s a discernible difference between that and the 48kHz up-sampling. That is the primary reason as to why I took the time to copy my music library onto the hard drive of my PS3, all together adding up to a little over 11,000 tracks (and I assure you, it took a long time).

  • I can forgive most of my grievances in regards to Visualizer (and there are a few). There’s a good chance the PS3 wasn’t designed for easy integration of new visualizations, and I’m sure that is why the app shows up under the “Games” tab and not the “Music” tab on the XMB. But the one thing I find unforgivable is the fact that Visualizer forces you into 48kHz. That was the very first thing I noticed when I fired up the app and gave it a spin. My instinct was to hunt for an options menu to change this, but alas, there was none to be found.

I’m sure there are technical reasons as to why it isn’t possible to listen via 44.1/88.2/176.4kHz, but nevertheless I find it a bit of a buzzkill. I suppose I’ll have to continue listening to music as I have been before, and chalk up the $2.99 loss as hope that Visualizer generates enough sales to bring attention to this niche market for music visualizations.

Perhaps it is not too late to integrate new visualizations into the PS4? There’s certainly an untapped market here, and Sony could at least make a few bucks off some of the audiophiles out there (me included).

  • How come we don’t get the Moogle Cap and Cait Sith Minion if we want to pre-order FF: A Realm Reborn on the PSN?

  • I also cant buy the tomb raider bundle keep getting an error has occurred with no error code either T-T

  • Just in response to Morgan’s comment about deleting titles from the 32Gb Vita card, yes of course that’s possible, but downloading on Vita is so slow that it’s a major chore – I leave mine to download overnight for the most part. With games pushing 3Gb a shot, it’s not big enough. Currently I only buy digital if I can’t get a physical release. Nothing against the download model per-se, simply trying to make the most of limited storage.

That out of the way, great update, love the Vita sale and I now have Atelier after eyeing it up for a while. Bit puzzled by Silent Hill’s inclusion since it wasn’t developed in Japan, but I’m not complaining :)

Oh, and Duck Tales is fantastic, been looking forward to it for ages!

  • Again, Tomb Raider Bundle is giving several PS+ users an error. I remember it was somehow related to Quantum Conundrum unlock key, since it was free for PS+ users a while ago.

This is kind of disrespectful from Sony not giving any official solution. The “wait 24h and try again” is not a solution at all.

    @Morgan, @Grace, @Kristine, please, help us!!

  • I’m tired of PrimeroIncognito. He is the ultimate fanboy. It makes me sick. Stop being an a**. Many of us complain about the service Sony is giving us because it isn’t the one we deserve. Sony isn’t a new company. They aren’t an indie company without money. They want our money? Do the right thing to get it. I’m spending more money on Steam because the discounts we get from Sony are so bad. I don’t care about the free games. Give me good discounts and I’ll be happy.

  • @174
i agree with what you said. but i really think the guy u are talking about settles for less in life period.
he is the type of guy that will say eu ps+ sucks and usa ps+ rocks. he thinks if he sucks up sony will toss him something free. every week he says something like good job sony and you other guys need to stop complaining .
he wants the sony team to reply to his post and say thanks for the support.. lol

  • Awesome update, I’ll be playing Tomb Raider tonight.

  • @Druzlaa you could download the game? PSN is buggy, you can not buy it

  • Unable to check out with Tomb Raider in my cart also. I don’t check the blog ever, unless I have an issue. This is the first time I have had a trouble purchasing something from the ps store. Thanks

  • you guys sure took you’re sweet time putting FFXIV: ARR up for pre-order….nevertheless, I’m glad it’s finally in there

Can’t wait to get back to Gridania.

  • Runner 2 is free on Plus? WOW! Does this mean when the Vita version comes out I’ll have that one too because of cross buy? That would be great :D

  • This version of FIFA 14 will have the PSN American dubbing of the Portuguese in Brazil?

  • Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus
never heard of it but I do own Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2….. wild week Gen con will be in my back yard this weekend!!!

  • it seems, wasted my money trying to buy this Bugged Tomb Raider

  • many ppl so sick of one another its funny. we have to co-exist on this same blog sadly. so sick of sony ass kissers, and so sick of them blog bullies that nit and pick at that one lil fella every week.

  • The Tomb Raider bundle “Error” glitch would not be annoying…except that the store added funds to cover the game, but I can’t get the game. I suspect that this is the same for everyone who has gotten the “Error” glitch. I guess I could use the funds for something else. At present, the Tomb Raider bundle is the only thing I want.

In addtion, I hope the store gets overhauled at some point. It’s also a bit annoying to download a game and then install it. And with the bundle packages, every litte piece of DLC becomes something you must manually install.

I like games. I play PC and 360 games along with my PS3. For PS3 users who have never used 360, I have found download times to be much better on the 360. Yet the biggest advantage is that there is no install process once the game is downloaded. It should be that way on the PS3. I have noticed that sometimes games do install automatically when the Plus account does its update process. The default process should be to install automatically for all PS3 users, plus users or not. The best way would be to have the game install as it downloads as with the 360.

    Peace!

  • At least I’m not the only person who can’t purchase Tomb Raider. This is actually quite annoying. I wouldn’t mind so much if someone would let us know if they are trying to fix it, or if there was a specific e-mail we could write to that would let someone on their end purchase it for us.

The most annoying thing, apart from not telling us anything, is that this is not the first time this has happened..

  • Will there be a pre-order and bonus for the PSN copies of Saints Row 4 and Grand Theft Auto 5? :)

Finally convinced myself to go all digital from here on out!

  • i wanted to pick up tomb raider but idk now after reading these comments about the error. guess it dont hurt to try maybe il be lucky.

  • Awesome update! I have FFXIVCE pre-ordered and ready to go. I hope HD Remaster X and X-2 hit D1D for PS3!?

  • Japanese Game Vita Sale

i cant do any thing on my UAE store

  • Tomb Raider bundle with problems – Sony does not a single care … how sad it

  • Since nobody from Sony is giving any answers about the Tomb Raider bundle problem, i will just post on every single other post about this.

  • Is there any way to create a digital “wish list” of PSN games we plan on purchasing or want to purchase (I haven’t seen one)? If not, that should be added. There’s so much I want, and it’s tough to keep track of it all.

A way to gift, share, and recommend games to friends would be great, too. I’d imagine a lot of this stuff is in the barrel with the PS4.

Would also love to see PS2 Classic support for the Vita down the line. Fingers crossed.

  • @BuBBeRX Agree!

  • @dakotagraham Because we don’t want fighting games on PS+, period. Tell that to everyone here.

  • @CripplerJones

Just sharing my thoughts about gifting on PSN

I’ve been asking myself why it didn’t have it for a while and this is why i think it doesn’t have it, And might never have it
Because PS3, Vita and PSP are region free, And different regions tend to have different publishers, And you see that EU,JP and US(And the many other minor regions inside them) have different content in store as well, It would be hard to work around that for gifting, Nintendo devices (Wii, DSi and 3DS) probably has the ability to gift due to that reason, Since they won’t have to deal with games being released in country before another and having different publishers and store region content

I can only see gifting possible if they find a way around that, Have a global store instead of regional, Or region lock the Systems

  • No wish list, though it would be awesome, as would PS2 Classics on Vita.

The two items I want, that aren’t games, are pretty simple, and I still don’t understand why they haven’t been integrated.

I want to be able to sort my Games on the PS3 alphabetically. It’s just dumb that we can’t, especially since it is the default sort to start with.

And I want the limit on menu screens on the PS Vita removed. I would love to have a single game per menu page, instead of being limited to ten pages because they are using dots. Folders are nice, but they look a bit tacky, and you can’t add backgrounds or set them up the way I would like to. To be honest, I’d rather have more menu pages than folders.

  • 1st of all….Who’s That Flying dropped to $2.50 thats amazing…I highly recommend everyone that still dont have this game to buy it……..its one of the best minis out there if not the best.

Wow thats a great update..there’s a lot of things to pick up but some will have to wait….Runner 2,SF4 avatars(damn I cant resist those)Brigmore Witches,Vita sale,Demos,Visualizer…really good update.

I never ask anything but I’ll have to do this…….whoever at Sony that read these comments please……try to bring this games to our classics…

    PS1 Classics:
    Jackie Chan Stuntmaster
    Apocalypse
Capcom vs SNK Millenium Pro 2002

    PS2 Classics:
Def Jam Fight for New York
    Burnout 3 Takedown

My greatest regret was selling my two PS1s that I once had years ago…so I bought another 2 weeks ago and now I’m playing again such classics but please try to bring them to da PS3 library.

    Much appreciated.
