Hello Gamers,
Moments ago, Adam Boyes introduced the latest addition to the Third Party Relations family at Playstation, a new group that I get to captain called Third Party Production. The Third Party Relations team at PlayStation is well known for developing solid relationships across this industry, and this new group will work closely with our publishing partners to bring their beloved IPs to some new places. This means you’ll see even more great games on PlayStation platforms, including new IP’s, ports, and localized products. In addition, our partners who are currently in production will have us as a resource to strengthen their development process, ensuring quality and consistency on all Third Party projects.
I’m really excited for our team to explore new opportunities on behalf of PlayStation. Even though we’re brand new to PlayStation, we’ve got years of experience in this industry already under our belt. We already have a project underway, the recently announced PS Vita version of Borderlands 2. We are extremely excited to work with Iron Galaxy Studios on this project and I cannot wait to show and tell you more down the road.

Guys, seriously. Make Shenmue 3 happen. I will pay whatever you ask for that. I will buy whatever console it’s on, the very day you announce it. I haven’t bought a new machine since the PS2, and it’s directly because no game has been more interesting to me than the first two Shenmues were.
The best possible scenario for you is to release all 3 games, especially if there are visual upgrades and new features. We would love that, all your DLC would be eaten up by us. Release it in tiny episodes if you have to. Charge whatever you want, we WILL pay it!! And the tools to make Shenmue today are far less costly than they were back during it’s run. You’ll make a mint!
No other game captured my imagination and motivated me to train in martial arts the way Shenmue did. Please bring us closure. Please make Yu Suzuki’s legacy complete.
GITAROO MAN LIVES!
Please! Will it never come? PLEASE! I’ve been waiting for this game to come to the American PlayStation Network Store for the PS Vita since it was announced at the Japanese one!
It’s an awesome game, but it’s been over six years since it’s been out. There was an addition of GITAROO MAN LIVES! for Japan’s PlayStation Network Store as I’ve said, and I can understand that, but there were also hopeful Americans here wondering when amazingly fun action music game would be coming here.
The music was great. The characters were likable. The dialogue were funny. The gameplay made me want to pick it up again and again. You will never say that kind of gameplay anywhere else. It was a cult classic that finally needs to make its way to the US. [To be continued.]

On the PlayStation US site, for GITAROO MAN LIVES!, it says “PSP (UMD Only), PS Vita”. This alone gives me hope that it’s going to happen sooner or later, but I wish it would happen soon and I know there are a couple others that would like for GITAROO MAN LIVES! to finally make it’s way onto the Vita. It may not get hundreds of downloads, let alone thousands, but it’ll make some people happy. It may restore some faith that some people still want to please PlayStation system owners when things look a little bleak for the Vita.
This is one of a couple reasons that I want a Vita, so I will be able to play this old-age PSP game without having to get frustrated over the UMD’s flimsiness or eventually having to go out and try to find another game in one of the Gamestop stores, but it is both old and rare.
There are people who might be interested in this game, but never got a chance to play, and there are people who want to revisit an old favorite even if it’s just a few of us. This game needs to come to the US PlayStation Network Store, and I, for one, will buy it if it does.

I myself, would Love to see #Shenmue on Playstation. Back in the day, it was a monumental achievement in gaming, real time worlds, day to night cycle, QTE’s, the works. The game was so far ahead of it’s time and didn’t get the chance to show its true potential, Shenmue and Shenmue II are still my all time favorite games, beating COD, GTA, FIFA, GEARS OF WAR, GOD OF WAR, you name it. There is not a more powerful storytelling experience than that of Shenmue. For the past 13 years or so, the story has remained unfinished, leaving our hero, Ryo Hazuki in a cave on a quest to avenge his fathers killer. Myself and millions of fans worldwide have dreamed of a concluding chapter, however SEGA have yet to #GIVEYUTHESHENMUELICENCE. We have applied our campaign through Facebook and Twitter for some time now but we NEED closure to one of the very best, emtionally compelling, complete gaming adventures of the Dreamcast/PS2/XboX era. Please SONY, Make this happen. I think every fan at #Shenmue500k will buy a console just to play this game and will buy at least 2 copies of the game. I know I will.

Personally, I would love to have the mobile devices’ Rayman (Rayman Jungle Run and Rayman Fiesta Run I believe) and PSO 2. PSO 2 have been one of the reasons I bought a Vita and while I never felt a lack of good games to play, I always felt like it should come out in western countries.

Would love to play Valkryia Chronicles 3 and the Motorstorm series on my Vita alongwith the Patapon Series too. Definitely hoping for a Vita or PS3 port of ‘The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction’ which was developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Sierra Entertainment. Not to be confused with the Sega developed ‘The Incredible Hulk’ . Do this and you get my respect.
Toss in ‘Anarchy Reigns Game of the Year Edition or Complete Edition’ with all DLC and preorder bonuses on disc for the PS3 and you get my utmost loyalty. Hell I’ll even salute you just for ‘Anarchy Reigns Complete Edition’.

I would love another Jet Set radio. Just randomly thought about it while I was listening to the sound track. Please Deliver to me a localized Yakuza 5 and future Yakuza projects including ishin, even if it is digital only. I’ll buy it. Also re-chiming all the games in my other posts as well. The project that David Jaffe is current concocting.. I think I mentioned this before, but just in case Warhawk 2 and Phantasy star Nova and Phantasy star online 2 for the ps4 f2p and the vita.
And I want to add again. Please work out a deal for a ps4 version of both Gravity Rush and Soul Sacrifice Delta which could play cross platform with the vita.
I wanted to add this one in there too. After getting the chance to play it again, I hope that another mark of kri could be made too. Pretty awesome if it could happen. Shenmue 3 happening would be super awesome. I think at the moment, that’s all I got.

I really want to Shenmue 3 on PS4 because I been waiting for this game to come out for over a decade. Shenmue 3 is the treasure I most desire and if they can bundle Shenmue 1 and 2 with Shenmue would be even better. Shenmue is the best game I ever played in my life.
Please make Shenmue 3 the Shenmue fans deserve a continuation or a conclusion to the series it’s been too long and ask that you keep Shenmue in mind the story must go on thanks.
i just read somewhere that the guy designing dark souls 2 is considering doing a next gen port. So I’d like to add that on the list. Dark Souls 2 for ps4 as well as vita. Also want to add smite in case i haven’t More visual novel jrpgs, as well as final Fantasy agito for the ps vita. Dark matter for ps4, ps3, and vita. Diablo 3 for the vita with crossplat potential with ps3 and ps4. Sega’s new fighter Dengeki bunko Fighting Climax for ps3, vita, and ps4. Lot more mobas like someone mentioned earlier. Star citizen.
I can’t believe Shenmue 3 hasn’t been released on PSN yet as there is the potential for huge profit. The games were not commercial flops despite what some people say. SEGA just spent more money on it than they could possibly have made back. Shenmue sold a million copies when it came out and it has gained an even larger cult following since then. A lot of people consider them to be the most important & influential games of all-time. If as many people suspect the third installment was nearly completed on DC surely it wouldn’t cost much now to finish it up and release the entire saga on PSN. That would be a much better solution to making a new Shenmue 3 on current hardware as part of Shenmue’s appeal is that it was so far ahead of it’s time and it would cost a fortune to make a game that would live up to the originals. But if the missing chapter was released on PSN Sony would be looking at an absolutely massive profit for very little investment. They’d also gain a huge amount of notoriety by completing the trilogy and instantly become a hero to millions of disaffected SEGA fans. I’d even go as far as saying releasing Shenmue 1-3 on PlayStation Network would drive hardware sales for Sony

One of the few games to have a profound impact on me and one that I would keep going back to. It would have to be done properly though for me to enjoy it!

Shenmue fans have been waiting for over a decade (about 12+ years) and eagerly want the continuation of the Shenmue saga.
Shenmue is the game that paved the way of open-world games. You wouldn’t see the newest of open-world games (which now is a gaming genre trend) without the Research & Development which was spent on Shenmue, back in 1999.
Shenmue is a game that speaks to the hearts of gamers, with its epic storyline, the highly inspiring soundtrack (composed by Yuzo Koshiro, Takenobu MItsuyoshi et al), the spiritual personality, the vast interactivity, the great attention to detail, the incredible by the time beautiful graphics, the game oriental setting while projecting towards the player the culture and the wise of Japan/China.
Shenmue has badly been on a cliffhanger. Yu Suzuki, the creator of Shenmue, wants very enthusiastically to complete the series. Yu Suzuki had the concept to bring a new genre of games, which as he say will have “the realism of movies and the interactivity of games”. Shenmue was the grand step of this.
