I hope you’re ready to get hit right in the feels, because ICO joins the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection tomorrow. The classic title has been an industry favorite ever since its release, so if you haven’t had a chance to play it, you can finally learn what all the fuss was about.
One of fall’s biggest games – Grand Theft Auto V – is hitting store shelves and the PlayStation Store tomorrow, but you might need something to satisfy your GTA cravings when you aren’t at home. Thankfully, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories is also free for PS Plus members this week, so you can play a little GTA no matter where you are.

Is there anything I should know about when or if the new VITA will be coming to NA? I want to buy a VITA but I don’t wanna find out two months later that I spent 200$ when the newer skinnier/lighter version is being sold for 130$ or whatever it’ll be priced at. You guys don’t need to answer specifically with a date or price. (I could imagine you guys couldn’t if you wanted to either way) But is it worth me buying a VITA tomorrow?
(btw, the only reason I’m getting a VITA is because my birthday was last week so I have the extra cash. I rather save some more money to buy a large memory card.)
let me clarify. you’re customers are mostly insane. you guys are doing great work most especially for the cost we’re paying. it’s great deal.
the only thing i worry about is down the line should the psn no longer be supported for a system, would you implement a buyout? we pay a certain percentage of what our IGC is worth to keep them?
kids. wait. it’s gtav. you’re just going to slay on a rampage. you’ll be doing it for months after today, what’s a couple of seconds longer. and if it was such a big deal you should have gotten a physical copy. nothing is ever faster than putting a disc in, especially when compared to a download of a game that would fit on a Blu-Ray DISC!!!
for anyone complaining about the diversity of games or sales, i don’t want to say anything because GWG members are getting a pretty raw deal. if you’ve had PSPLUS for a year and you’ve played and completely beaten every single game in the IGC, it may be time to go outside.

@kyletrapa There is no confirmed NA release date as of yet. I plan to get a Vita this year so I can play all those games I got from sales. If it was me, I would just wait until Black Friday. They might release a bundle with the new model. Who knows? Although, I heard the OLED screen on the old model is better than the new one with the LCD model. That’s what I heard.

Occasionally PSPlus has proven it will take even among the most popular PSN titles and discount them or add to IGC. Perhaps try purchasing the games you’re interested in when they come out instead of waiting for months brewing to a rage on the idea that you paid $50 for a service which in your mind should either discount or make free any game you find remotely interesting. Yes! PS Vita is getting some love this week. A new game to remote play, and I can finally play LCS again. I had the physical version for PSP.

Its not PSN, it’s your ISP or Internet Service Provider.
I get 3-5MB’s a second when downloading stuff from the store and I am wired. I have mid level FiOS and works great. 18GB is about 3 hours. About what most would take to download it. Most I get on Steam is about 10MB, and it depends on the games. Wake up at 3am EST, start your download and go to bed like a normal person. Then when you wake up its installed and ready. Or stop complaining and go by a physical copy. As you can see from replies by the team, nothing is going to change.

Been on here since 2010 or so, its always the same. Though it got worse when the IGC started. Wish it kept track of how many posts and had up and down votes. Only thing this community is missing–then we could bury the imbeciles.

The newer model, 2000, is like the budget model. Not as nice quality screen and some other things. You should thing about waiting on the Vita TV(Vita, PSP, PS1, TV Service Streaming Device for $100 Playing Vita games in 720P on your TV) or buying a 1000. I am stoked about the Vita TV since its what the Vita should have had from the start since the PSP Go had all those functions. 2000 will likely be the same price, not less and the 1000’s will stop being manufactured. Anywho, hope that helps some.

And will the DLC for Saints Row the Third or Gravity Rush be discounted anytime soon. I have the platinum for all 3 but would like to get 100% in them. Thanks in advance.

Typical moaning going on round here. ICO’s a great classic. I sold my disc copy and picked up SOTC but never got around to grabbing ICO as well, so this is fantastic. Fantastically classic games are fantastically classic. I don’t really care for the sales, but then I normally come for the free games from Plus anyways. The flagship game of the month (Resident Evil Chronicles) didn’t do much for me, but Galaga’s fun and now this. It’s not always the AAA games that are the most enjoyable, sometimes it’s the smaller simpler ones that you can load up for like 15 minutes at a time and be perfectly happy with playing them,
I think Ico and GTA LCS are two great additions to get for free. Of course, seeing what Europe has in store for October is making me a tad jealous………

We, as paying costumers should at least get some choice in what we are paying for.

After seeing the PS+ game list for EU PS+ I have to laugh at everyone who does have a US subscription!!! XDDDD And yes I’m laughing at myself, too. This is ridiculous! Bye bye PS+ US… Won’t renew. Now buying a EU PS+ subscription and never look back to PS+ US anymore :D

I just now found out that EU is getting Street Fighter X Tekken next month as part of their IGC.
Words fail me to describe just how utterly flabbergasted I am that you are giving US subscribers nothing but garbage, with the occasional AA title thrown in just for giggles, but EU subscribers are getting high quality, excellent games, month after month.
Unit 13? NFS:MW? SFxT? Final Fantasy V? Resident Evil 5? Mortal Kombat? Arkham City? God of War?
I mean, is it licensing? Is it really THAT much cheaper to get the license to distribute non-indie, non-Squeenix titles to the EU region?
It’s as if the EU subscribers are getting the exact perfect hamburger in the picture on a McDonald’s ad, down to the last sesame seed, while US subscribers get what most of us are used to; a sloppily slapped-together burger that only accidentally resembles the advertised picture.
Sigh, SCEA has got to step up and start producing like SCEE has been doing with PS+. I know we got a “Different regions get different games based on taste” side step… but that was a joke. SCEE areas are going to enjoy FarCry 3, Dragon’s Dogma and a nice port of Giana Sisters… while we sit by with a PS2 port and a PSP spin off of a better franchise, which no one will play because GTAV is out.

You better watch out, guys. All that complaining above has a reason, and you know what reason is. Just give us customers better games, AAA titles, and that’s it, and give us the chance to choose one or two titles in a pool, like everybody is asking, something I think is easy to do. If everything were fine and good for every PLUS customer as you think it is, there would be none complaining about like in every PLUS update. Think about it…

The most impressive thing about this comments, is that Morgan Haro and Kristine Steimer just don’t care about us complaining about the EU content. They just sit there laughing at us complaining. The page 6 is full of comments and they just don’t stand to defend themselves or to look at EU PS+ subscription and do something good for us.
