Don your cape and cowl — the Batman Arkham series is readying its return, along with Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It’s a tremendous week of superheroes and cybernetics in this week’s Drop.
Lauded for its gritty visuals and stellar play, the Arkham games have garnered a huge following in the world of gaming. That tradition is sure to continue with Batman: Arkham Origins, a prequel to Rocksteady’s revolutionary first two games in the series. The latest Batman features the intense, single-player experience you’d expect from an Arkham game, but will also include a robust online suite for gamers to compete within.
But Batman isn’t the only dark hero making a comeback this week. Adam Jensen, with all his powerful augmentations, slinks back to PS3 in Deus Ex: Human Revolution — Director’s Cut. An enhanced version of the already well-loved original, the Director’s Cut includes The Missing Link DLC, as well as other improvements.
If those don’t strike your fancy and you’d rather catch up on some fan favorites, check out the two different 2K compilations — Essentials and Power Pack — which both feature a strong lineup of well-loved games.
For a complete list of games launching this week, read on, and enjoy the Drop!

I’m login these early Drops. “pun intended”…
Looking forward to Batman on the Vita. My Vita has been on fire lately. Killzone is soooo sweet.
Vita Love.
Its 2days before Deus Ex HR( DC)…and still no price or info on if we’ll have to pay full price or not if we already own the digital copy?! I hope we’re getting the same deal as Steam users…
Ah Enslaved… such a fantastic and underrated game. Everyone that I know who has played it loved it, just too bad it never got the sales it it deserved. Still holding out hope for a sequel, although we know it’s unlikely. :(
I want to Preorder Battlefield 4 for my PlayStation 4 come Tuesday and it include all the Preorder goodies found in retailer stores plus exclusive Theme.
For the next drop can you add the price next to the title? Also if you could somehow align the game description with the game photo that would be appreciated.
1- When can we learn of US Plus’ November offerings? It’d be great if we can know of them on the 25th at the earliest, it’d be lame to buy a game that ends up being a Plus freebie come November, so knowing before hand would be appreciated
2- Any word on upcoming PSX games to PSN? I’ve noticed Gex 2 and Mr. Driller got rated by the ESRB for PS3, PSP and Vita, what other PSX classics are coming please?
3- When will the Halloween sale take place? Does it start this week?
Waiting for my copy of Batman: Arkham Origins Collector’s Edition, right now I’m revisiting Arkham Asylum and Arkham City! Enslaved looks interesting and let’s see what sales pop up this week! Great week for me!
Quick unrelated question — my PS+ subscription auto-renewed yesterday for $49.99. Will I automatically get the $10 PSN credit in November, or do I need to spend one more cent to qualify for the “$10 back for $50 spent” offer?
Does the spend $50 get $10 back promotion apply to purchases made on the 29th?
I ask because this could will be our last update on sales and new items to purchase for that promo unless it includes purchases made on the 29th and at what time and timezone?
Also does the PSN have any type of Black Friday sales?
I ask because I see references to a possible Halloween sale.
@31, and 33….are you sure? I’d go ahead and find an avatar to buy for buck or less maybe even, to be safe. Or find someone to answer more officially. No offense todoh789, iI just now i’dI’d hate to loose out ouT.
batman snuck up on me. WWasn’t expecting to buy another high dollar game just yet, was plenty busy for the moment. But….batman. interested in a few other games to, but will wait and see
The last time they ran this promo, Morgan said they would honor 49.99. Anything less than that you might want to buy an avatar or something to be safe,

Batman always gets the Drop on bad guys.
Will there be anymore PS4 Digital pre-orders this week? I’d love to be able to pre-order Resogun, Contrast, and Killzone: Shadow Fall!
