just this month i spent more then 80 bucks, by renewing my plus membership for a year and buying the last of us digital copy on psn, and didn’t get no 10 dollars…
My PS+ subscription expires next year and I’m glad, next time I’ll get the European version they make the us ps+ look like garbage.

And this is why I’ll cancel my plus after all these years, the sales are average at best (example this weeks sales horrible best game I AM ALIVE which should’ve already been on sale months ago), games aren’t even for the ps3 and it’s called playstation plus(granted I’ve got a vita and the games they have gave out lately aren’t worth the time to download) free games that you don’t get to keep when your account expires(so then there not free) And now the fact that when 4 comes out you have to pay to plan online. Time to invest in a XBOX where you can play your own music while you play games, way better servers and less cheaters!

@BlueBl1zzard: Exactly. You pay money ($50/yr, $18/3 months, etc.) upfront and see if the discounts on games you want don’t add up to a lot more than that. If they don’t, you shouldn’t stick with Plus. And you should really be checking up on these posts for weeks/months before subscribing so you’ll know what to expect beforehand. I see far too many people acting like they had no way of knowing what it would be like.
@CraddaPoosta: Companies can charge whatever they want for their products. Besides, if you own an iOS/Android phone and can get the same games so much cheaper, what’s the problem? Get them for your phone, or shell out the extra $7. You can obviously affford it if you can afford those phones. Stop comparing everything you see to everything else. It’s never going to be perfectly “fair.”
@Mando44646: I agree. Indies are great but they should be mixed in with full games from time to time. Though I’ll take whatever I get in the IGC since it’s all icing on the cake. Vita owners (especially those without a PS3) may actually have more of a point regarding indie/PSP games on the IGC vs. newer stuff, but again it’s all extra to me.

@mdawk13: I agree with you: The IGC *has become* the central selling point of PS Plus, and if it were gone a lot of subscribers would follow it out the door. It *has become* the backbone of PS Plus to your average subscriber. I find that unfortunate. I don’t think they ought to get rid of the IGC, but there’s so much more to Plus than that. I’m talking about people changing their perspective and attitude regarding the IGC. People tend to forget there wasn’t an IGC in the beginning. People with long memories tend to see my point. Others see it but simply don’t agree. And that’s fine. But I will continue to make it. Either way, Plus is worth it only if it is a good value for you.
@DarkTimeLordX: There’s something in the IGC for everybody. You’re really that pissed because Vita owners got something this week and you didn’t? I don’t own a Vita, but let’s be fair to those who do.
@hartbrek310: Fair enough. The glitch exists. I never said it didn’t. There’s no patch to fix it and there won’t be one. I never said otherwise. But if you truly are experiencing this glitch there are ways around it. Before you start a new game, install any available patches. If that’s what you did before, then DON’T install the patch and simply play offline till you get past the section with the French fry costume. In any case, be sure to complete the French fry section once you get to it before shutting the game off. Just to be on the safe side.
It’s a fun game. I never ran into this glitch; sorry others have had problems. But people shouldn’t be left with the impression the game can’t be beaten, because I and many others have done so. Good luck.
Why are there so many freaking ps vita free games

I’ll just say that I got Plus because of the discounts. I got 15 months (3 for free) + a voucher for 10 bucks. The total was $39,99. I bought like 10 games thanks to the discounts, so even when I saved, let’s say, 5 buck per game, that was something good for me. 5 × 10= 50. I already got my money back…and it is only month 3 of my 15. Soooo, yeah, some people only get Plus for the discounts.
My big problem with Plus is that I can buy games that I already “own.” I missed AE two weeks ago and now I’m going to miss Bioshock 2. Even when I got it for 360 like 3 years ago, I wanted to get it for PS3, too.
@carlpain: I’ll agree it is lame that you can’t take advantage of sales open to everyone else if you’ve previously downloaded a game for free. They should fix that. It’s been that way for years and they’ve had ample time to come up with a fix.
@hartbrek310: Before you go and start your game over, make sure you’re using the costume correctly. It’s a very confusing section, and IIRC I did have some problems with it. Look into it further online. But if you’re sure you’ve hit the glitch, at least it’s not a very long game. Cheers.
Heard good of Sine Mora, and wasn’t it here that the Vita version was stated as the best by the devs? However, no Vita for me (yet?), and no Vita TV (very want), so the lack of cross-buy means no subscription freebie for me this week. Still so much to go through…
And, hey, Siren: Blood Curse’s first discount in ever. I know that the PS4’s just around the corner, but how about we bring this and other first-party Sony titles (Folklore, Heavenly Sword, Let’s Golf…) up to speed with a little “bling!” (you know, the sound trophies make when they pop). DMC, Okami and Remember Me were on the european IGC, and offered with huge discount some days ago. When asked about, Morgan said that they’re avoiding adding to IGC games that we’re on sale. Althought he didn’t said it wouldn’t. For me, it’s a huge difference between ‘it won’t be’ and ‘i’m avoiding it to be’.
And after being fooled by sony sometimes, I’m taking my chances.

@hartbrek310: My initial reaction to your comment was due to your assertion that the game could not be completed. That is simply not true. But it gets complicated after that.
I did do some research before making my initial comments, but my own curiosity has led me to further research. Compounding the issue is the fact that the quest at issue can be easily fouled up even if the game itself is working properly. One girl went at least a week thinking she had encountered a glitch before being told she was tapping the button rather than holding it down as required.
Regardless, customer service from Double Fine and THQ has been shoddy at best. There will never be a patch to fix the glitch they created with their previous patch.
And so, I was wrong. The buyer should be aware of this and realize the possibility of having to start the game over before purchase. Which is all you were trying to do. Stacking contains a similar glitch which does not prevent completing the game, but which does prevent the completion of some challenges (and associated trophies) without starting over.
I still enjoyed both games despite having encountered the Stacking glitch myself, but I can understand why some people wouldn’t want to bother despite both games being very short.[/this]

Indie games are NOT what we need on the IGC. No one is going to feel as if they NEED a subscription to PS+, or that any console offered by Sony is only complete with a PS+ subscription, if all you get are $3 Android games “for free”. There is no value there to a new consumer.
Indie titles are their own genre, not the leading genre in the gaming scene. Trying to force a scene is the surest way to torpedo it; buyers will resist when things are shoved in their faces and told how swell they are.
