Very happy that Konami decided to make their Metal Gear Rising DLC free for everyone so people who have bought the game before won’t feel slighted when a GOTY edition comes out with all the DLC included.
I just downloaded Dragon’s Dogma from the SEN website but then I was charged the full price (39.99) for it. Did this happen to anyone else? Can I ask support for a refund?
Rocksmith’s people are really going strong this time around. For the 2011 edition, they released roughly 3 songs every 2 weeks. Three weeks since they released 2014, and so far they’ve released at least 5 songs every week.

Am I the only one that finds the PS Store bothersome to navigate? I really don’t like these huge panels that you have to navigate past just to get to the full list of available goodies. I also don’t like how the PS+ section no longer shows the Vita stuff.

Do games always only stick around for 1 month, I thought it was more of a 6 month cycle? LBP Karting and Uncharted 3 have been around for much longer than a month, no?

Just thought I would mention on the blog that the Metal Gear Rising Revengeance Dlc’s are not mentioned that they are free now which makes me happy. As well I have to say I am not a fan of the new store layout it is not as straight forward as it used to be!

Gotta say, I’ve been counting on a PSN release for Shadow Hearts and Shadow Hearts 2. Two of my favorite games for the PS2. Darker and much more playful games than the FF series ,from a Squaresoft group that broke away from Square. I still have my PS2 copies but have been looking forward to getting them on my PS3, and assuming it supports the PSN games, PS4 in a couple weeks. But now I’m starting to wonder what’s up. Both games fell under a lot of people’s radar but were hits to those who played them. Even better would be an HD collection. How long do we have to wait?

@65 – Your Dragon’s Dogma save file will transfer over to Dark Arisen (it definitely works between discs, and there shouldn’t be a problem going from disc to digital – I’ll be testing it tonight). In fact, if you’re going from the original DD to DA, you’ll get a bunch of bonus stuff. Most notably, the Infinite Ferrystone. You’ll also find that most all of the DLC armor & weapons are now available in-game (purchased (with in-game money) at the Black Cat in Gran Soren), whether you bought the DLC or not.
Dark Arisen is very much worth upgrading to, especially since it’s now free!
Nice update overall…TLoU new masks,Dragon’s Dogma and some cool demos…..other than that there is nothing on this update…gotta be real…these discounts are a real shame.Cannot wait for the Christmas sale.

Downloaded Dark Arisen and now it’s stuck on 85% installing for about an hour now, anyone else having a problem like this? Read over on the EU blog that alot of people had this problem when they got it. :(
Dark Arisen has taken over 2 1/2 hours to install so far, not including the download time, at 98%.
Just love how the PS3 is completely unusable while installing a game.
I haven’t skipped a COD game since COD 4 best one EVER (have been disappointed with a couple) I have been playing BF and COD and this year I think I will be skipping Ghosts and going BF.. Just doesn’t look impressive on the PS4 and looks plain bad next to BF4. Hopefully I’m wrong cause I love Call of Duty and if I’m right I’m sure next year the engine will be upgraded and more focus will be put into the “next gen” title.
I see “The Adventures of Cookie & Cream” is being released as a PS2 classic. For those of you that don’t know, this is a From Software game that Agetec published about 10 years ago. Such a release begs several questions:
1. Who arranged for the Playstation Store release? Was it Agetec, From Software, or someone else?
2. Are the other From Software games like King’s Field, Shadow Tower, and Armored Core 1-3 coming?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Can I still get call of duty ghost upgrade for the ps4 if I buy the ps3 version
tunein needs to be able to continue playing music when you press the ps button and move to another app.. having it not able to play really detours this from being ideal. why cant I be playing music and sending a message?
@59 rjejr: Games typically stick around for a month, but a small selection of games (has been 3 for PS3 so far) sticks around for a full year. Time will tell how many we get for PS3 once the PS4 launches. The annual games for PS3 change over in June.
@CoD/BF/Madden haters: I don’t get it. Why does this matter to you? Some people like to play war games online and shoot their friends. Same with Madden. Some of these same people play other games, and some don’t. BTW, I’ve never played any of them. I just don’t get why people who supposedly don’t like something give such a huge crap that others do. *shrug*
@70 b1tters: I would think not since Hotline Miami/Guacamelee! haven’t been announced for PS4. Neither the PS3 versions nor the Vita versions will work on PS4.

For those who don’t know how: Just start the free download and immediately cancel it. Then it will appear in your download list and be available to download for free as long as you’re a Plus member.

I bought a non pre-ordered physical PS3 copy of Call of Duty: Ghost on launch day from the ubiquitous Australian store chain JB Hi Fi for AUD$80, whereas the Australia PS3 store has the digital copy listed for AUD$100.
How is it possible that a 3rd party retailer can sell a physical copy of a PS3 game at 20% less than a digital copy direct from Sony’s online store?
