Great job on offing this even though you got my money and already had my support. Sad some are canceling about one little difference they had to make, but hey i bought a gaming console to game not listen to music. :) So keep up the good work, Not to sure about the music unlimited but i’m more then happy to try it out. Though im usually one to listen to the soundtracks the games have since many hours were put into that music.

pretty lame the 1 month of ps plus isn’t stackable. you’d think you guys would want to reward the people who have been supporting the service already. it’s what, a $4 dollar value, that literally costs nothing on sony’s end to provide – would have been a small but appreciated gesture.
I am not happy this 30 day voucher can not be used by existing PS Plus members.
Maybe we should get Obamacare to enforce additional coverage of the “pre-existing” PS Plus members who are currently only getting $10 wallet credit.
I used to have PS+, but I did not renew it when it expired in August. Would I be able to use the 30 day pass even though I’m not really a “new” subscriber?

Please post info about this. I know a lot of people are going to be upgrading the HDD at launch and posting playroom to the store would be a simple gesture that can save a lot of users from missing out on such an innovative game.

$10 is a nice bonus. thank you. I am very excited to be picking up my console friday morning at 8am at futureshop. I reserved in June. I just picked up 2 extra controllers, killzone and the camera and will be getting my copy of fifa 14 on thursday.
It is disapointing to hear that the 30 days of plus will not stack. I will give the code to my friend and warn him to change the auto renew settings on it as he will likely have to put his cc in for it.
Music plus i wanted to buy when it was on sale for 42 dollars plus discount for a year pass but required a credit card on file which i will not do. It is odd to me that you will not take a years sub in advance without a credit card and now with ps4 and no other official method of custom soundtrack if that persists i will be disapointed to miss out on the 30 day trial..
It is obvious that the 3 items are just a way to make money and not really for loyal customers like myself. just like the choice to exclude canadians from the rewards program. i’ll call that my missing reward my $10 as between my new 46inch sony tv and all of the ps4 stuff i will have dropped well over a $1000 in one month.
i won’t look a gift horse in the mouth though and expect for the features and games to come steadily over the next months. I just wish Diablo 3 was a launch game, happy to see it will include the expansion when it comes out.
DS4 feels much better than the 3 and i imagine it will be hard to go back to the ds3 to play games like lords of shadow 2 etc when they release

I know the PS+ won’t stack for current subscribers, however, as my subscription expires a couple days before the system is released, I was planning to use this to get a month of + until I could afford the year subscription. Will it only be available to people that have never had PS Plus or just people that aren’t currently subscribed?
Music Unlimited sounds cool and all, but the PS4 lacking support for playing MP3s – likely to emphasize the utility of your paid service – essentially equals “music limited.”
Please support MP3 play and personal music libraries on the PS4.

Why is it so difficult for some people to address Sony in a respectful manner, rather than a spoiled and entitled brat?
Just got done with my trial of Music Unlimited. All I can say is it’s horrible. The Audio quality is trash, the music library needs to be bigger, and the number of device restraint sucks. Owning a Vita, 2 PS3, PS4, PC, and 2 iphones, doesn’t work out at all. Let me play my own music on my PS4 because restraining that function just try and sell a crappy music service is not right.

What do you know about marketing, you ask? Well, based on your suggestion, I’d say not much. Offering a full year for free would have disastrous effects on Sony’s profits, bad enough to potentially knock them out of the game. I agree that 1 month may not be long enough to convince the fence-sitters to sign up for Plus, but a year is way too long. 3 months would have been best, but they can only offer what they can afford to.
As if Sony hasn’t been generous enough with all the money back promotions they run from time to time (including the one that recently ended), the Plus program with all the included games and massive discounts, as well as those $10 loyalty vouchers that came out of nowhere one day (that the brats probably already forgot about), and now these 2 free trials and yet another $10 voucher packed in with every PS4… damn. Add all that stuff up…
And yet, people still claim Sony is greedy and other ridiculous crap…

The PS4 not being able to serve as a media server (at launch) is what should be worrisome. Not that you can’t play freaking relics of the music industry.

This is kind of odd that it doesn’t stack. How are we supposed to share it with a friend if every PS4 is coming with this? Maybe hand it to someone with a Vita or PS3 I suppose. Is there a way they can change it to allow us to stack it? I prefer to use freebies given to me

I think this is good for people that haven’t tried PS+, $10 for free is great. I’ve tried music unlimited and its not to bad even had some punk rock. But I don’t think a lot of people under stand the fact that the PS4 has a chip just for back ground tasks like downloading and streaming witch means it can play music on any game and not just games that have that fetcher programed in to them. If your playing music & getting game data from the same hard drive its going to slow the game down and I would much rather have a fast game running at 60 fps & listen to music on something else. As for the other thing like media servers apps it should be up to each person if they want down load them as a separate app and not forced on them, if I wanted a bloated OS that was going to slow down the system & take all most half of the power I would get an xbox one or PC for gaming.
Its nice to see Sony give back. Sony has one as all over here at Storm Line Films.
