Black Friday Deals for PS3, PS Vita, and PS Plus

November has been a huge month for PlayStation, and there’s never been a better time to join PlayStation Nation. We’ve got some incredible Black Friday deals for PS3, PS Vita, PS Plus and more, to keep November going strong.

PS3

We’re putting two of the most popular PS3 titles of 2013 together to bring you the PS3 Black Friday Bundle for only $199 (MSRP). This bundle includes a 250GB PS3, Batman Arkham Origins, and The Last of Us — one of the highest-rated games of the year. That’s $165 worth of savings.

So Black Friday is the perfect time to pick up a PS3, and we’re continuing to bring you great content on the platform. Gran Turismo 6, the latest entry in one of the most popular franchises in PlayStation history, will launch exclusively on PS3 on December 6th. Not to mention blockbusters like Grand Theft Auto V, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, Battlefield 4…

Black Friday Deals

PS Vita

It’s also a great time to pick up a PS Vita, so you can play Tearaway — which launched today to stellar reviews — and recent hits like Killzone Mercenary, Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition, and Spelunky.

PS Vita is the ultimate companion device for PS4 through key features like Remote Play, letting gamers play most PS4 titles on their PS Vita via Wi-Fi on their home network, freeing up the television for other uses. Check out the various deals below:

PS Plus

There will also be a special Black Friday deal for PlayStation Plus at select retailers nationwide. Pick up 1 year of PS Plus for only $29.99* — that’s 40% off the regular price of $49.99. With PS Plus, you’ll get new games every month with Instant Game Collection. You’ll also get access to online multiplayer on the PS4 system. Best of all, one membership will cover you across your PS4, PS3, and PS Vita… for just $29.99* on Black Friday only.

*Limit 2 per person, per purchase. Offer valid 11/29/13 only, while supplies last.

  • Oh and Deadpool’s $19 on Amazon, and The Last of us….. well it WAS prolly only last night but it was $25 at Walmart. XD

  • So, why is it when I go to buy the PS+ for $29.99 it changes back to $49.99 at checkout? I’ve been trying all day and this is the first time my attempts to log in and do this have been successful. I thought this was going on all day?

  • With the exception of Bioshock Infinite; these deals suuucckkkkkk.

  • DS156 they are now claiming that was only an ad telling us about retail stores having the sale. Even though it linked to SEN. It has hosed a lot of people. I for one put money in my wallet and it didnt happen. So if you loaded money or missed the other deals you are out of luck.

  • I ordered $29.99 year subscription (digital download) for PS+ with GameStop. I was going to order it from amazon but for some reason, they wanted to charge me tax. GameStop doesn’t charge tax. I ordered the digital download from gamestop, got an order confirmation but I still haven’t received my PS+ code from another email. It has been almost 9 hours so far. Someone said they were denied because they used a debit card in another board. I used a debit card as well. C’mon GameStop! All this could have been avoided if PSN store just offered the $29.99 deal.

  • You tricked me. Canada isn’t included in this year’s Black Friday deal

  • Where is the Canadian deal?

  • Will there be something for Cyber Monday?

  • So, I bought two PS+ codes via Amazon, tried to input them on my Vita and got an error message.
THEN when I went to my PS3 to login to my account (it’s my master account, not this one) it said I had been BANNED or SUSPENDED and couldn’t use my account. Bear in mind, this is an account on which I already have PS+, and am now paying for services which I cannot use.
No explanation was given for the ban, but my account was working perfectly fine before I tried to input the Amazon codes.
Brilliant customer service Sony – banning/suspending someone because they’re attempting to spend money on your service. And you actually expect people to buy your shiny new games machine? Pfft!

  • The people who work on here and Sony should be ashamed of themselves for this sale. It is horrible, I looked at the EU sale and that’s a sale and would have gladly spent money on that, if they had some of those sales for the US. I like the free games, but you guys use to have such great sales and was jealous of you bc I had my Xbox Live subscription, but now I have the PS+ too , the sales on here have not been very good for awhile. It makes me think twice about getting another subscription after mine expires. Again shame on you, you should be very embarrassed to call these sales.

  • The way they been going lately Iron. it will be a big let down, but hey Microsoft seems to have some decent ones on Cyber Monday.

  • I bought a freaking game on Amazon via Digital Download and now PSN is not accepting any voucher codes of any kind! wtf!
This is horrible customer service…. very disappointed.
WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD THE GAME I PAID FOR SONY!!!!

  • warning no stores in canada sell the ps plus 1 year cards for $29.99

  • I’m not able to redeem my code. I enter the code press continue and it just takes me back the XMB.

  • Let me ask something:
I’ve spendend exactly $119,97 between tomorrow and today on PSN. Do I need to spend more $0.3 to be able to earn $20?

  • @446

The spend $60 deal states maximum $10 credit. So you can spent 3 more cents if you want, but you’re still only going to get $10.

  • @447

Really? That’s a little disappointing (it’s my fault anyway, since I haven’t read the post carefully).
Anyway, thanks for clearing that up, djsaiyan!

  • I wasn’t able to enter my Amazon code on my PS4, so went to the Playstation Store on my Vita and was able to enter the code just fine. Checked my services list on both systems and it shows the subscription. So that may be a workaround.

  • How can i make a complain??? …

I am canadian… Having different deals than eu is for my part depressing…

BUT DIFFERENT deal than us is UNACCEPTABLE……

We should have the opportunity to have thoses deals….

Called customer service and someone hang up on me….

    I need EXCUSES”…………………..

  • These were the amazing deals sony promised? …for shame, so few discounted games and apart from Bioshock Infinite and Rayman Legends, any of those games I can get cheaper from a bunch of online retailers.

For example playasia is selling The Last of Us for 27.99 dollars free shipping inc. …so that’s 12 dollars cheaper than this “amazing” psn black friday deal, Beyond Two Souls is also at 27.99 dollars, and those are physical copies you can trade in or sell after you’re done with them.

  • For Canadians, use amazon.com and use an american billing address…got two digital codes…too bad Redeem code system is temporary offline.

  • Ps4 remote play is great. I can play anything… So far on my vita…. Jealous much…. Thanks for a great sale legends for under 20 brilliant. Hope they fix the code thing soon just picked up year subscription entered it into the ps4 and it kicked me out hope code is still good….

  • I wish I could use my PSN wallet money to buy the PS+, but unfortunately it’s gonna sit there untouched until some real discounts start happening. This is the most disappointing “deal” I’ve seen so far on the PSN.

  • Wow Sony where are the deals for black Friday disappointed bought 20 psn card to spend on the store last year you had a great sale what’s up this year.

  • Just when I got money to spend Sony pull up this fart come on maan! Even bought a year of plus

  • Where are the Ps Plus sales this is where you’re supposed to put the biggest sales.

  • Good sale. Bought Bioshock Infinite.

  • Can’t believe that people have been unable to redeem their 12 digit codes for their 1yr PLUS subscription all day. 45 minutes of waiting on Sony customer support only for them to say it SHOULD be fixed by midnight PST.

  • You guys need to remember, Black Friday is a day for physical retailers. CYBER MONDAY is the day for online deals.

Chances are, this small PSN sale is just something they decided to put up today to appease the people demanding sales today, and a much more comprehensive sale is coming next week, when it should, because that’s when the online sales are supposed to happen.

Just buy Bioshock Infinite and God of War: Ascension on PS3 (great deals!) and Rayman Legends on Vita (awesome, awesome deal) and have a good, gaming filled weekend, and prepare your wallets for next week.

  • whyyyyyy … waiting all week for nothing ….

  • I am very unhappy this wasn’t available here in Canada. You folks at playstation really dropped the ball on this one as we here in Canada also have Black Friday. It should have been available today via psn for both the usa and canada as well as in select stores in both countries.

  • All the people they crossed over from MS and this is the welcome they get. I am always praising Sony for their sales. Weak sauce for sure. I still have 40 bucks in my wallet that I am not spending since they mislead me on the PS Plus deal. Why -_-

  • Thanks for wasting my time, Sony! You said there would be a Playstation + promotion for Canada, So i go out hunting to Wal-mart, Gamestop, and Best Buy, who were all retail partners as you say, yet not a single store has this promotion. Yes Amazon has them…but they won’t ship to Canada and the Amazon Canada website doesn’t even sell them. I had always been on the fence about trying this out but now I am just turned off from it completely.

  • The thing I find most amusing (and annoying, being Canadian) is that we from the Great White North would not be ******** about this anywhere near as much as we are had we not, on this very blog, been told that there would be a Black Friday PS+ deal for Canadians.

SONY, you didn’t drop the ball on this one. You said you would throw it, we lined up to catch then you took your ball and went home, leaving us hanging.

As for the sales, Bioshock Infinite is the only good deal there.

  • For Canadians – use your credit card – then change the billing address at checkout to american one. People have been using any one. i use kids fathers. then change it back as soon as your done. with conversion -$32.56

  • this is on amazon.com

  • So glad that PS+ deal for Canadians totally happened just like Crystal said it would in one of her comments.

  • I’m now a plus player of PSN.

  • @467

LIES…I can’t believe this…she said black friday which is already over and no such deal existed

If she meant cyber monday she should have said so…this is wack

  • can i ask tGod Of War: Ascension does this include online pass?

Thanks for the suggestion! This deal is not available on the PlayStation Store however, just at select retailers.

That is so friggin misleading. I loaded up my SEN wallet because BOTH the blog banner CURRENTLY LIVE RIGHT NOW AS I TYPE, and this link : http://us.playstation.com/psn/playstation_plus_new/.. very clearly indicate that PSN Store was also going to have the PS-Plus deal. You have a BUY BUTTON under that link for crying out loud.

Why have all the tripe about “limit 2 per customer”??? Retailers like Amazon / Newegg allowed much higher than that. Blatant false advertising.. expect a class action suit for misleading your customers Sony.

  • I was able to get 2 ps+ codes on amazon for $60. You guys should do the same. Just change the billing address. Amazon has better deals than psn anyway if you compare prices of both services.
