We are aware that users are experiencing some disruption to the PSN service. To minimize the inconvenience we have suspended the “redeem voucher” functionality while we investigate further. Unfortunately this means that money cards, product vouchers, PlayStation Plus vouchers, PS3-PS4 upgrade vouchers and any other vouchers for digital content are not redeemable at this time. Other PSN features such as log in, online multiplayer gaming, PlayStation Plus trials, PlayStation Store (excluding voucher redemption), Trophies, messages, friends, etc are all available.
We apologize for the inconvenience and will provide an update soon.

I just did it and I’m downloading Battlefield 4 now.
1. Redeem the code via the website(towards top right under Accounts section select Redeem Prepaid Card)
2. Go back into the PSN store on your PS3
3. Go to the content for the code you recently redeemed and click Download.
4. Enjoy your new content!
That’s it, quick and easy.
Assassins Creed 4 is downloading very slowly for me and even sometimes failing to download to where I have to retry. Guess PSN is still having major issues.
Maybe it’s your connection? Since my original post above when I started downloading I’m already at 46% of a 10GB download.
It could just be this particular game. Usually it doesn’t take long to download stuff. I usually get a good 3MB/s at least but this is like some kb/s right here. Something is up. But it would also probably help if they didn’t force the PS4 to download a bunch of stuff at the same time instead of just focusing on getting one thing done like PS3 does.

To redeem a code, go tru account management, then to redeem code and it will work, i did it with a BF4 code a brought from Amazon. Because tru the PSN store it will give you ERROR enjoy!
Finally got to redeem my PS+ code purchased on Amazon yesterday about 2PM ET. DL LBP Karting no problems. Watched Pacific Rim via PS3 Amazon Instant video app so haven’t done much else.

Yeah my code says it was redeemed but it didn’t go through. I had a lapse in my ps+ and don’t want to miss any games :(
I bought 2 $20 PSN cards from my local Gamestop yesterday so that I could download Diablo III as part of the Flash Sale that PSN was having. I was able to redeem one card and the second one kept saying that the card was invalid or already used so I took the one card back to Gamestop and they returned the defective card and gave me a new one. I got home and had the same issue with the new card. That’s when I went to Sony Customer Support and learned that it wasn’t the card that was defective, but that they had turned off the Redeem Voucher services temporarily. I kept trying to input the code all through the evening and through today. The code was finally accepted at approximately 4:30 pm EST. I just finished downloading and installing Diablo III. I was so worried that the code on the card wouldn’t be accepted and I would have been out $20. I’m glad that the services seem to be being restored at this time!
Yay! It’s working now.
I hope you extend the deals and ps+ games because of this. I probably won’t get a chance to get to my console now. Blerg. :(
Its not working for me. Bought the one year plus on amazon yesterday and then try to reedem but I get this message:
This Prepaid Card cannot be redeemed on a PC.
I’m guessing this also applies to Music Unlimited? The $10 voucher and 30 day PsPlus went through fine. The Music Unlimited has been going on 3 weeks now and it still won’t redeem.
Thanks, I was able to redeem through account management. I repeatedly tried through the store but I would kept getting the error. My Vita arrives tomorrow from Amazon so now I can start downloading games.

the 1 year psn plus membership it just worked right now i wrote the voucher from directly in my account manager :)
I’ve been seeing on a lot of sites the redemption codes are working now. I just tried redeeming my PSN+ Year Membership code I bought from Amazon yesterday – still getting the generic “An Error Has Occurred” message pop up. I’ve also been unable to redeem it on the SEN site (“This code can not be redeemed on a PC”).
Is the fix just on dollar value cards and not PSN+ memberships? Or is it rolling out in regions?
I just wanted to ask: Since the voucher functionality is turned off now, are you guys going to extend the offer of Dragon’s Dogma : Dark Arisen on PSN? It’s going to expire as a free game in 2 days and I really want to download it but can’t until I can redeem a voucher (I just bought a PS3 so I don’t have an existing PSN account). Anyway, thanks!

Login and then go to Games and then PlayStation Plus. You can “purchase” the free games and it’ll be added to your history.
I’m sure they’ll have things sorted out before next update. At least, I hope they will.

Bought the PS4 Thursday, installed and added my PlayStation Plus Voucher Friday.
I tried to play COD Ghosts online today and it states that I need a PlayStation Plus membership, even though I entered when activating my PS4.
I entered it again and now it states I have an invalid card.
Does this mean that this 1 year membership is no longer good due to the issues?

Actually, an update: I was able to redeem my PSN+ membership code under Account Management in the XMB on my PS3.
mine worked today, thankfully… glad i was able to take part in that deal… PS+ more than pays for itself… and while i dont have a PS4, it will still be a great thing for my PS3 and Vita… maybe next year ill get on the PS4 bandwagon when there are some games i want.. Watch Dogs being delayed was the reason i cancelled my pre-order mostly….
Why can’t we apply the 7 day ps plus codes that we get in games on top of other codes? We spent the money on the games, I don’t get why they don’t allow them to work…..
I think Dragon’s Dogma was set to expire this next week. If possible it would be great if you could keep anything from expiring from PS+ this week. I bought a year of PS+ for a friend and I’ve gotten him all ready to play that awesome game and if this Voucher issue isn’t solved by Tuesday he will likely miss out on the opportunity to have that game in his PS+ library.

I’m not even able to sign in on my ps3. I just got Battlefield 4 a while ago and I can’t use my codes. I really want to play Bf4 online but it says the connection with the network timed out. I’m pretty sure it’s not me. I’ve heard rumors that psn was hacked. Honestly I don’t care I just want to play online. Please anyone with any information on what’s going on or when I could get back online would be really helpful.

1 year codes I bought yesterday are now working for me, and my 1 month from my ps4 finally stacked as well.
I had a code for one year of play station plus from Amazon, I redeemed the code in the playstation store, but it still doesn’t show that I have a plus account? I can play online games and everything, but I can’t see all of the extras that come with a plus account… What should I do?
tell us when this is getting fixed that’s what we want to know today in a few hours? tomorrow? i would like to know because it’s driving me nuts that i can’t use my psn card that i brought 2 days ago
That’s make me double think that digital download from PSN are not good idea because my Call of Duty Ghost for PS4 are FLAW none work! I redeem the code, but it keep SHOW the PRICE and add to cart. WTF I just already own it but why again ???
No more buying digital PSN for me, I couldn’t imagine what happen to their sever flaw then no able play until their server back up or gone for good to next innovation and threw off digital ages behind.

@233: On your PS3, under the “PSN” tab, choose Account Management, then choose Redeem Codes. Enter your code there. I was able to redeem my PS+ card just now.
Will there be a possibility of an extension on the current flash sale in the PSN Store if the redeem voucher function continues into late tomorrow? Interested to buy some games but unable to add the funds on PSN cards I have.
