It’s officially 2014, and if you checked out our preview post and video last month you’ll know that means mega awesome titles are coming soon! Tomorrow our Plus members will be able to download both Don’t Starve on PlayStation 4 and DMC Devil May Cry on PlayStation 3. Don’t Starve is deceptively cute, so don’t be fooled, this is a hardcore survival simulator. You (as a Gentleman Scientist) will need to gather, hunt and build in order to stay alive in this mysterious land.
DmC Devil May Cry refreshes the story of Dante and gives him a bit of a makeover, but the combat is still as action-packed as you’d expect from a DMC title. Dante still packs his pistols Ebony & Ivory as well as his blade Rebellion, and you’ll have to switch back and forth from Angel and Demon mode in order to rack up your massive combos.

Don’t Starve looks fantastic and loving the fact we get it free on PS+! I will be streaming this as soon as I get home from work so others can check it out and start the survival journey with me with plenty of laughs I am betting.
Will we get any exclusives avatars, themes or wallpapers for PS4?
Dont know about Dont Starve it looks ok to me. DMC though looks like a game that I would really like and I happy that this month I will be downloading all 3 games for my PS3. Hopefully this continues in the future with stellar titles like these.

Anybody know the time the update is suppose to take place today? I try going into the PSN Store on my PS4 and it says “Network is down. Check your internet connection” and when I go to test internet connection settings everything was succesful?

The PS Store always updates on Tuesday, and they try to get it done by 2pm PST (Pacific Standard Time, West Coast USA). It’s not a guaranteed time, though.

Bioshock Infinite for PS3 will join the IGC some other Tuesday this month, but probably next Tuesday (the 14th). I say that because Vita games generally hit the IGC later in the month. 3 games left, 2 of them for Vita. 3 Tuesdays left in the month.

Can’t say anything about Don’t Starve because I haven’t played it, besides the fact that could have been perfectly a PS3 downloadable game…
But I do need to say my disagreement and disgust for DmC: Devil May Cry being one of the games of this month:
A reboot that NOBODY didn’t care about back then and nobody will EVER care about, because It completely sh*****d on its fans and made its core gameplay extremely easy (and shallow), and made the entire game EDGY to hell and back to appeal to kiddies and “modern gamers (that can’t take any kind of challenge now)”. How many copies did it sell, eh? Like 5000 or something isn’t it? And you why? Because everybody knew how awful it was. You even could play the demo to confirm it.
DmC is as bad as THAT Bomberman reboot (Act Zero).
What time will DMC be available today? It’s almost Noon here and no sight of it in the PS Store.
So the PSN updates at 2pm? And sorry for the newb question but I have to be at work at 2pm but am I able to remotely download DMC to my PS3 if I leave it on? I thought the new DMC: Devil May Cry was pretty cool and fun, the first time I beat it. And I can’t wait to get the Virgil DLC. I have not played the previous devil may cry games. But I can understand why their fan base would be angry with the recent DMC
I’M very disappointed with Sony, not only do they make you wait 7 days before you get a new game, but they will also make you wait in till 2pm (Pacific Standard Time) for the PS store to update. I have been a member of Playstation plus for about a month and so far i have been disappointed.
It’s funny how many of you are complaining, getting over $100 in free games every month for a $5/month subscription among other benefits.
For comparision, xbox gets Sleeping Dogs this month, which PSN gave out free a year ago.

@KikoKT: Many games on PSN (and I believe Galaga Legions DX to be one of them) are formatted that way. There’s a demo, and then a small unlock file for the full game. The reason is if you download the demo and decide to buy the full game, you’ll just need the small unlock file. You won’t have to download the whole giant file all over again. It’s a convenience feature.
…all to say: Yeah it’s fine. Just make sure you download the unlock file when prompted and you’re good to go.

We already got Sleeping Dogs last year, and I would safely wager that either DmC or BioShock: Infinite are better games than anything in the Tomb Raider series.

It says right on it FREE. There is a $14.99 but its crossed out and says Free so when they take the money out of my account..that is theft. If I just grab $ out of your wallet I would go to jail.
