There needs to be a Dark Souls in the Earth Defense Force universe.

Imagine the horror.

Speaking of Ratchet, I need a Good full Ratchet on Vita, and one for PS4, I never got a chance to play Into the Nexus since I haven’t plugged in the PS3 since I got PS4 (only 1 HDMI port and to lazy to do switching lol). Ratchet is one of my all time favourite characters hopefully we’ll get them soon.

It looks like Nick’s transformation is now complete. :/

Ryan, you joked about a car game that is actually a fighting game. That kind of game already exists! Unfortunately, it was only released in Europe and Japan.

The game is BCV: Battle Construction Vehicles for PS2. It plays similarly to Twisted Metal, except you and your opponent drive tractors and other construction vehicles into each other until one of them explodes. The vehicles also have special moves, such as:
* a tractor transforming into a bee, stinging the opponent vehicle
* an excavator throwing a lightning bolt attack with its swinging bucket
* a boom truck having a huge kendo fighter appear over it, swinging the extension post around it like a sword toward the other vehicle
* the same extension turning into a baseball bat, smacking the other vehicle into the sky
* a forklift using a huge bullhorn, calling for a stampede of people to trample over a vehicle

Youtube v=ddNWeLpEcWw if you want to see all the special moves

Hello Playstation BlogCast Crew , 1st off love the show listen to it every week. 2 questions for you my 1st question is why have we not seen hardly any news on MLB 14 The Show on PS4 , PS3 and PS Vita since last November when the teaser trailer came out? My 2nd question is with EA / Dice doing the Star Wars Videogames besides Star Wars Battlefront that is coming out in 2015 what other Star Wars Videogames do you guys want EA / Dice to make? I would like to see a return to the style of those old X-Wing , Tie Fighter videogames that where on the PC in the early 90′s plus the Rouge Squadron games that where on N64 and GameCube. Your thoughts? Thanks guys and keep up the great work.

One of you guys snorted while laughing. Who was it, and why were they not mocked for the entirety of the show?

I have another super important question. The woman in the EDF interview had a great voice. Did she look as hot as she sounded?

The last game I remember restarting immediately was GOW 3. It was such an epic game, and I wanted to cave Hercules’ face in again because it was so fun the first time! I also remember in Dragon Quest 8, as the credits were rolling, they showed a new area opening up. I immediately reloaded my save, and it was a brand new area with a great side story and tons of new content. It’s still my second favorite game ever, next to Skies of Arcadia. Are we ever going to get DQ 8 as a PS2 classic? I also would love to play an HD remake of Skies Of Arcadia on my vita!

You aren’t the only one that had all kinds of fun digging holes in the original Red Faction multiplayer. I spent the vast majority of my multiplayer time doing that with one of my friends. We’d see how far down we could go, or just build crazy tunnels all over, or carve out entire sections of the map (since whatever chunk of the map would disappear if it became fully detached from the rest of the terrain, we’d spend hours trying to cut bigger and bigger pieces of the map off, you could only cause so much damage before further explosions did nothing to the terrain).

@ GIROTTI_BR: Final Fantasy did NOT just turn 17.. what the heck are you smokin’?

The first installment of the series premiered in Japan on December 18, 1987

That would make the franchise 26 years old as of last December.

Final Fantasy VII. Its original release was in 31 January 1997 in Japan on Sony’s platform, the PlayStation console. In 1998, the game was re-released for the Microsoft Windows and PlayStation Network in 2009

@ GIROTTI_BR: Who’s talking about FF 7? Your original post only says.. “Final Fantasy turned 17 today.”

So was your original post a typo or something?? Because clearly you are wrong.

1. Metal Gear Solid _PS Vita compatibility

2. Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core HD Remake, loaded with Trophies or PS Vita Compatibility

3. The 3rd Birthday – Price Drop, $19.99 I think is a way too stiff for a 5 year old game & PS Vita Compatibility

4. Crysis Price Drop on PSN

5. Resident Evil HD Chronicles Price Drop

This are some of the things I’d like to see in the future.

oh. wait..

6. All Crash Bandicoots – PS Vita Compatibility

yeah. I’m done.

Cheers to all!

The focus should be getting those PS4 exclusive games out ASAP.
Maybe a sequel to The Last of Us for PS Vita would boost it’s sales.

I’d make:
-2 new The Last of Us, one for Vita one for PS4, but don’t announce the PS4 version until after the Vita one is released.
-2 new Uncharted, giving a lot of ND hands.
A new infamous for PS Vita.

But do bring out your PS4 games this year. The Order 1886, Uncharted 4 out for 2014 on PS4.

@Darkknight_2012 Metal Gear Solid does work on Vita even if you’re in America. You just need a PS3 to install.

For some dumb reason the Crash Bandicoot series can’t be installed on an American Vita even if you have a PS3. You can with a EU account though for some dumb reason.

And in my opniion, Crysis 1, even on PS3 is worth $20. I loved that game. It’s at least 15 hours long and it’s super replayable. I’ve played it 6 times since they put it on PSN, and I played it once on PC too.

Man, it’s really lame that Dark Souls 2 is only on last gen crapsoles. I would actually consider buying it if it was coming out on current gen consoles but instead I’ll just wait for Infamous and MGS 5. Maybe I’ll pick up Theif if it’s good

Hi to the Blogcasters. This is what I am wondering

Will we get an app like EyeCreate for the PS4? It would be cool that we could vlog/podcast/send voicemail on sites like SoundCloud, Youtube and Vimeo! Thanks and love the show!
