The Drop

The world has fallen under the tyrannical rule of Grand Master Meio. As people suffocate in his steely grip, Special A-Class Strider Hiryu is sent into the wintry winds of Kazakh City to assassinate the dictator. The arcade classic series returns with Strider, which launches for PS3 and PS4 this week.

Guide Hiryu through an expansive map and cut down Grand Master Meio’s forces in a flurry of strikes. Using Hiryu’s indestructible plasma Cypher — and a host of unlockable special moves — players can traverse the dark halls, harrowing heights, and gleaming towers of Kazakh City with speed and skill.

For those gamers hungry for a more old-fashioned quest, the PS4 beta of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn also launches this week. Saddle up a chocobo and ride through Eorzea in this staggering MMO from Square Enix. Interested parties can head here for more information about the beta.

There’s plenty more coming to PlayStation, so head below for the full list. And enjoy the Drop!

I pray Strider does well enough for Capcom to decide to create a Vita port!

Ok, seriously…why are they always releasing these kick ass titles for PS3, PS vita? I have a PS4, I would like to see more games being released for this platform than the PS3, knowing that the PS4 only has like 20 games total out for it including the downloads you get if you are a PS+ member. They gave us RESOGUN, Outlast…Outlast was a complete disappointment, was not even scary…PS3 already has over like 100+ games already out for it, so my question is why keep releasing free games for it if their are already games for it. When the PS4 has NO good PS+ games every other console PS3, PS vita have multiple games for it when their are ONLY 2 games for the PS4 since it has been released…wtf is up with that ****…

Does anybody know if there will be a discount on Rayman Legends for those who already purchased it on PS3? I bought it for PS3 and Vita day 1 and love the game but no way I am interested in paying full price a third time.

Oh and BEYOND!

@BigBacon87: I recall a Q&A of Rayman Legends from a while ago and I think there were no plans for a discount, at least not the type you descriped, like it was with NFS, BF4 and AC4. But at least it’s 39.95 euros over here right from the start and maybe even a bit less for Plus-members.

Also, been waiting for Strider since I got my PS4!!! WOOOOOOO!!

When will the WWE Network App be launch? I know the PSN Updates are on Tuesdays however it’s suppose to be launching next Monday. I’ve already watch some WWE PPVs on the Live Events App (PS3). I just want to know will the WWE Network be there day one (Feb 24) next Monday. Just thought I’d ask that question.

Thank you,

Don’t buy Tomba 2 it shows the NA cover for the game but when you download it you get Tomba and the wild adventures which is the Japanese release of the game

So, when are we going to actually be able to buy Monster Monpiece? I saw it on PSN for 14.99 earlier, now it’s not longer able to be purchased…. What gives?
