It’s easy to look at Lone Survivor’s art style and think it’s not going to scare you, but this game is legitimately freaky. You’ll take the role of a creeptastic guy attempting to survive in a city overrun by disease, which apparently turns you into a nasty walking ball of fleshy bits. Given the scarcity of ammo, you’ll likely be focused on hiding from the flesh monsters roaming the world versus conducting constant head-on assaults. The story unfolds based on your choices throughout the game and there are multiple endings to discover as a result. The final bonus is that this title is Cross-Buy, so PlayStation Plus members will receive both the PS3 and PS Vita versions of the game.

@Funky0ne Thanks dude, I’m gonna try it, but they should really think about overhauling the blog and at least allow us to just Private Message or Ignore other users.
Anyways, my bet is the update will come in the next 3 to 5 hours, but I’m still curious about the reason for the delay, furthermore I’d like to see real DEALS/DISCOUNTS coz those CoD ones are just ridiculous, any of those games you can get in physical form for AT LEAST half of what they’re asking for….
@berlaitada – I so couldn’t agree more to the option to ignore other users… sadly, a lot of websites need that functionality… would think in this day and age, especially with cyberbullying being recognised as a crime now, user controls would be first priority… also especially considering kids/minors could find themselves getting into the middle of stuff they can’t get out of. Part of the reason I was driven to find a way to do my own client-side filtering/blocking. Just glad to share a tiny tid-bit for others to use. Using the same idea with that rule, can use it towards other sites as well, as long as you can find a CSS/HTML identifier for just the partial segment you want to remove. Also comes in handy on Gamespot and Raptr so far. ^_^
Speaking only to the others, and the moderators on this topic, like I said before, I wasn’t the one who started this. There is a history of harassment by this individual for almost a year now. Literally every topic I post on, he comes behind me and insults me or harasses me, and it’s pushed me to the point where I can’t keep on taking it on the chin.
I have reported to Sony, using the email address provided, every single offensive post he has made, every day this week, and have not gotten a single response. My options were to either wait for a moderator to finally come and handle this mess, to walk away and let the kid win, or to fire back and defend myself.
Yeah, I should have walked away. Not disputing that. But, again, go for almost a year with the same guy harassing you constantly and obsessively, and see if it doesn’t get to the point where you snap, too.
If Sony is not able to assist me in blocking this user, I will simply ignore him from now on, so that my presence isn’t something that detracts from the overall experience of this community. I hope to hear back from a mod soon.
^ Btw, to make it easy, you can probably just copy/paste the rule I posted earlier, and just replace “Funky0ne” in the rule with the username of anybody else… as the rest of the tag before the username stays exactly the same. 8)

My real reputation, actually. There are people here who actually know me personally. I don’t care what the strangers think. Just my real-life friends. But you are correct. I shouldn’t have worried about it, because my friends know who I am. I got all caught up in being libeled that I forgot that my friends know me and I don’t have to worry about some troublemaker trying to smear my reputation.
As for the reason for the delay… the suspect cause is the recent PSN maintenance that was done the other day… didn’t think it’d cause this big an issue though… but who knows, maybe they put a 1 where a 0 was supposed to be, LOL. (Sorry, geek binary pun… :P~)

@PainofSarrow, that is what I figured. I thought that we received those credits based on how long we’d been PSN customers, or how much we had spent on the PSN. Not a “sorry the PSN was down” bonus.

Wow. At the time I got my credit, I only had maybe a dozen PSN titles, between my Vita and my PS3.
After almost two years of being a PS+ subscriber, that has definitely changed. Now my library is closer to 70 or 80 digital titles.
Everyone I knew also got it. I wonder what the criterion was, last year?

Get the AdBlock Plus plug-in for Firefox. Once it’s installed, click on Add-Ons. Highlight AdBlock Plus, click Options, then Filter Preferences.
Click the Custom Filter tab, then Add Filter. Copy and paste this line if you want to block me.
