It’s easy to look at Lone Survivor’s art style and think it’s not going to scare you, but this game is legitimately freaky. You’ll take the role of a creeptastic guy attempting to survive in a city overrun by disease, which apparently turns you into a nasty walking ball of fleshy bits. Given the scarcity of ammo, you’ll likely be focused on hiding from the flesh monsters roaming the world versus conducting constant head-on assaults. The story unfolds based on your choices throughout the game and there are multiple endings to discover as a result. The final bonus is that this title is Cross-Buy, so PlayStation Plus members will receive both the PS3 and PS Vita versions of the game.

Lone Survivor is not showing up as “Free” when I go to the online store even though I am a current Playstation Plus subscriber. What the heck?

The recent Silent Hill games were easily the worst survival horror games I played in the past few years. Downpour, Book of Memories, Homecoming, and even the HD collection were all blights on what should be the greatest horror franchise. But this game here is easily the best Silent Hill game since Silent Hill 3. Sure it may not say Silent Hill on the title and may not have been made by Konami or Team Silent, but this is classic Silent Hill through and through. Fantastic, creepy music, an unsettling atmosphere, and interesting gameplay hooks that are tied to both your sanity and your wellbeing. Lone Survivor is just a joy to play and it scared me more than any game in years. Frankly, it’s embarrassing that Konami has botched the series so badly, with all the talent and money at their disposal, that one guy using sprites could make them look like jokers. If you’re not playing this game, then I have to say that you’re missing out big time.

This happen around the same time because several regions across the US missed there update time or whatever last year. In response 10 bucks was given out for free. And I got mine when they’ve given out there 2nd batch. I asked around Y thats been going on and I got a response from Mr. Haro.
It looks like Europe got there update already. What about our update? Someone should at least post here on the blog and fill everyone in. What in the world are you doing?

does anyone have a reliable ballpark estimate as to when the update is going to go live other that the ambiguous timeframe we have been given? today… tomorrow… the second tuesday of next week? the lack of soild information is all that bothers me the constant checking to see if its updated is killing me ;) can’t complain too much i really appreciate the ps plus program it is totally amazing!

@DragoNsChampioN I see the partial update just fine. Though Plus still isn’t updated. The updates do happen regionally though, so maybe you haven’t gotten any of them yet. If you don’t believe me, feel free to check the playstation twitter yourself.
I was only trolling the people who didn’t bother to look up a couple posts for the answer, so it is unlikely they bothered to read my silly responses to them either.
It wouldn’t be so bad if they actually made an effort to keep us updated. Instead they say they will, then silence for many hours.

Maybe it’s just me, but I think they’re changing the 3 vita games at last, since Gravity Rush, Uncharted Golden Abyss and WipEout are no longer free on the vita store. Maybe that’s the reason for the delay.
Gotta say, you guys are really dropping the ball on this store update. It there are issues and it needs to be late, that’s one thing, but the lack of communication? Come on. A little communication goes a long way.

I have the utmost confidence in you guys over @ Playstation. This seems to b the 1st time since i have gotten PS+ that something like this has happened. Website says update, but there is none in the store
If it’s an issue with the network, I’m sure it’l b fixed, but please update us gamers as to what’s going on with this weeks update. Let’s not 4get the PS3 crowd just because the PS4 & Vita are around guys…

@itsciga im sorry, i dont recall what i said oron what page, let alone what i thought five minutes ago. really bad memory, runs in the family, lol. which games? it also depends which account you check the store with. if its the account that downloaded them instead of a price it shows purchased, in america atleast. i wouldnt know if theres any differences.
we have a family ps3 but i do all the downloading for the house since i stalk the blog. sadly the plus account is my sisters, we just take turns paying:). shes far too busy to handle it so that fell to me…

Any one notice, That psn has added rental games. The proof is look up catherene and use drop down box. It doesnt work but I’m guessing It’s for playstation now. Also Psn Home now has trophies . That tells me they will add Home to Ps4 or why even add them.
@itsciga- my sister has a psp but none of us have a vita yet, but i make sure to add all to the purchased list. if it is purchased it shouldnt show free or prived, so thats strange. wish i knew what to tell you.
