PS4 Games in 2014: The Ultimate List
50 Author Replies

Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen a ton of new PS4 game announcements — so many that we challenged ourselves to build a list of all known PS4 games scheduled to release in North America in 2014. You’ll find our initial findings below. Of course, the usual caveats apply here: schedules can shift and plans can change. But we’re going to keep this handy-dandy list updated all year long with the necessary adjustments. Let us bask in its warming glow.

If you think we missed something, drop us a comment below and we’ll look into it!

  • Roaming_Ryu

Great list! Proud to be a PlayStation 4 owner.

  • BattleSkard

    Cool. Cant wait 1st

  • That’s a lot of games, and it makes me happy

  • Kingdom Hearts III?

  • #DRIVECLUB officially delayed. Heart broken.

  • Oh man, so many good games are coming. Even just this spring. Looking forward to the continuation of this awesome year of gaming!

  • This is great! Been waiting for a nice list like this.

Any way PS Blog could provide a WebDAV or CalDAV that gets updated once in a while automatically? I’d love this on my iCal so I can get notifications about releases right from the horses mouth!

    • This is a great idea and something we’ve actually discussed – do you have any advice for setting something like this up and making it easy for everyone?

  • What about Uncharted?

  • Im dying for thebinding of isaac rebirth and minecraft ps4, no real info on either thou

  • That really is quite the list.

  • Awesome list. I know a lot of the indie games would be the same, but how about a Vita list?

    • A Vita list would be nuts – this took weeks to put together, so we’ll see :) Good idea!

  • Wow i dont see NHL 15 . Come on ea !!!!!!!!! let’s do this

    • It hasn’t been officially announced, but it’s a yearly sports game, so…

  • Love the list! And love the PS4 and Vita! oh and of course my PS3, too :D

Will the USA blog eventually look like the newly redesigned EU blog? I love theirs! :D

    • Perhaps – we want to have a unique look, but theirs is definitely slick! Glad you like the list :)

  • Oh I saw #DRIVECLUB on there… But not in the “Spring” column. I think we’re all smart enough to figure that out.

  • Home… as in PS Home? please no…..oh god nooooo

  • You forgot…

    KILLZONE Shadow Fall!

  • Garcia796284

    GTA V ? :(

      Justin Massongill

Neither has an announced date — if they get confirmed for 2014 we’ll add ’em to the list!

  • im just looking forward to batman, destiny, and watchdogs. the rest ill just wait and see as time goes by witch one ill grab when i get bored.

    • Justin Massongill
      Justin Massongill

All great picks! Looking forward to some of the indies, myself (Transistor, Hyper Light Drifter).

  • rafael_martines

Well, I’m happy there is no must buy game for now :D Kingdom Hearts III, Final Fantasy XV, Uncharted 4, The Order 1886 are the games that I want to play :P Who knows when SONY release PS4 Slim

  • I thought Square said Final Fantasy XV would be out this year. Am I remembering wrong? I knew KH3 would be later on down the road, but I really thought they said XV would be this year. Major bummer if it’s not :(

  • angeloftheheart

what about kingdom hearts 3 ?

    • Justin Massongill
      Justin Massongill

No announced date… we’ll update the list if they confirm it for 2014!

  • hemihotrod402

Is Project CARS a 2014 release?

  • Terraria?

  • my wallet hates you guys

  • DLNA!

  • Waiting for Isaac Rebirth.. And also Sandlot needs to make an EDF game for PS4!

  • How about Rime?

    • Not currently announced for a release timeframe (but I hope it’s soon!)

  • I know that Google Calendar and iCal both have publishing options where a link can be shared (and marked as public) that allows anyone to add it to their own calendars. Any changes should be pushed automatically (or fetched). I recommend testing it with privately sharing first amongst your co-workers :)

  • Enough with the Indies already…

My picks? Destiny, The Order, Batman, Driveclub, Middle-Earth, Dragon Age and AC Unity. Not too bad a year, but wishful that FFXV somehow makes it in time but I doubt it.

    • Justin Massongill
      Justin Massongill

Speak for yourself! I want all the indies I can get my mitts on. :)

  • h0nest_-Mike

Nice to see The Division on this list. I hope it actually does stick to a 2014 release.

  • Going to be an expensive year at a glance I can see 12 games that’ll get and they’re mostly huge games don’know where I’ll find the time to play them all.

  • It would take like 1 whole second to make a Vita list.

  • DigitalHitmann

So, you can confirm that Tom Clancy’s: The Division’s release date is to be announced for 2014? Though, slated for 2014 in general?

    • Yes, that’s been the public date thus far for the game. But things can change so we’ll be sure to update our list if anything moves around

  • The Division has already been confirmed for Quarter 4 of 2015. Wayyyyyyyyy off.

  • Definitely remove The Division off this list. It was confirmed a long time ago for 2015 and recently for Q4. Don’t mess with these people.

  • Project-solid

    What about Fallout 4 ?

  • I thought official release date for Batman Arkham Knight is 10/14/2014 or did I miss something?

  • SagaraKun83

Can’t wait for The Order: 1886, Batman and Transistor, plus, according to Amazon, Batman is out October 16th, let us hope it’s true.

  • PainOfSarrow

thats alot when you look at them all together.

  • God of War? :c

  • Olavo_Junior

    Not bad at all!!!!!!!!!

  • Does anyone know if there will be an upgrade program for MLB the Show if I purchase it on PS3 and want to go to PS4? Also, will there be discounted pricing like the last 2 years if I buy the PS3 & Vita versions together? The game comes out Tuesday, and not one word from Sony or San Diego Studio.

  • The NBA2K games are usually released in October (prior to the start of the NBA regular season), so you can probably put NBA2K15 under the Fall category. :)

  • xRoyaltyy--

What about Mw4 or PvZ Garden Ware fare ? or Gta 5 ?

  • Dudley-Do-Wrong1

Can’t wait for starbound on PS4. I love it on PC, but would kinda prefer it on console!

  • No Yakuza Isshin?
Guess I’ll just have to replay that demo from the Japanese PSN over and over then. :/

  • LloydDroid12

I don’t see The Last Guardian, unless its going to be PS3 only.

  • IllustratedDEO

When’s Guilty Gear Xrd coming out for PS3 and PS4

  • The Hero Trap by Smash Worx?
