Next month PlayStation Plus members will receive several games as part of their membership including Stick it to the Man! on PS4, Puppeteer, PES 2014 and Skullgirls Encore on PlayStation 3, and Limbo and Surge Deluxe on PS Vita. Several of these titles are a visual treat, boasting distinct, vibrant art styles.
Stick it to the Man! is a mix of point and click adventure puzzles plus a bit of platforming, and the animation-inspired art style is really slick. You’ll solve problems as Ray, a regular guy who wakes up one day with a giant pink hand floating out of his head. This pink hand gives him the ability to read people’s minds and grab stickers from their thoughts to use in the world.
On PS3 members will receive three very different titles: the award-winning, uber-charming platformer Puppeteer, the popular soccer simulator Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 and the indie-darling fighter with a crazy roster, Skullgirls Encore. Puppeteer is a visual treat that follows the story of a boy named Kutaro who gets turned into a puppet by the evil Moon Bear King (great name) and loses his head. After the transformation Kutaro must borrow other heads and use his fancy new pair of scissors to navigate the world and return home (preferably with his original head). Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 allows you to play as your favorite soccer team and pit them against teams from around the globe. The improved FOX Engine means that the soccer ball will be much more fluid than previous PES games. The 2D fighter Skullgirls Encore houses a bunch of wacky characters, each with their own unique attack style. The Encore version has new systems, balance updates, stages and music and a few new characters to mess around with.
PS Vita owners will get to download Surge Deluxe, an intense color-matching title and the critically-acclaimed puzzle platformer Limbo. The action in Surge Deluxe heats up quickly as you chain together color-coordinated blocks. The faster you move the more likely you are to be successful — taking too long means the pressure will build up in the pipes surrounding the screen and BOOM! Game over. If you haven’t played Limbo yet you’ll be in for a real treat when it comes to the Instant Game Collection for PS Vita. Limbo’s haunting atmosphere, intriguing puzzles and vague narrative make this a game you’ll remember for a long time.

Not impressed on any of the platforms (and I own them all). Maybe I’m just spoiled after Batman:AA, Tomb Raider, Metro:LL, BioShock: Infinite, PayDay 2, Borderlands 2, XCOM:EU, etc. This seems like a lineup they’d throw at you w/XBOX Live Gold. And, BTW, the, “Don’t complain because it’s free” argument really doesn’t hold much water. This is the main feature of a PS+ account, so no, it’s not really free.
Have to concur with the “where’s the Planetside 2” complaint, however, since that technically is just a free to play game (like Warframe, DC Universe, etc.) perhaps it will be available outside of the PS+ scheme.

Hey maybe this is Sony’s late April Fools joke… At least that’s what I’m hoping for. The line up for next month has to be the worst hands down… (Especially for ps4) plenty games you guys could give us for free. Whatever happened to Warthunder for the people in North America?
Well, that’s pretty disappointing. I was excited for Muramasa like a lot of others on here. Limbo’s all well and good, but Muramasa is a spectacle on the Vita’s beautiful OLED. The US definitely got the short end of the stick versus the UK…uncool. =/

Are you serious? PS4 still doesn’t have a decent free title. With all due respect, I am a playstation enthusiast by heart and it depresses me how PS3 could get Borderlands 2, Skullgirls, and several other titles for free and yet the other consoles in its lineup suffer (the PS Vita got Gravity Rush as the exception). Most of the PS4 games are either ports or lame cross-buys. Dead Nation was probably the only one that was decent, except for the fact that it was short with no DLCs. Warframe doesn’t count because it is played on mulitple platforms and I wish I could bring my PC leveled character to my PS4 version so that I can keep the levels. :P
Puppeteer looks interesting and Limbo will be fun, otherwise I’m just hoping for a Spiderman sale to coincide with the movie release. Who knows, you could maybe put Ultimate Spiderman in the PS2 Classic section. Just saying.
Whomever ever keeps pulling this crap, please stop. For the love of god, please stop putting games on sale for 30%-75% plus off just to have the game for free two months later. Not cool by any means. I’m tired of getting the rug pulled out from underneath my feet.

@muaddib345: If anything, it’s going to happen more often rather than less. The publishers are in business to make money, so why not get some actual dough from Plus members a month or two before it joins the IGC? It’s just good business. Doesn’t mean you have to like it, but this is definitely here to stay. I would recommend that you stop buying games digitally if it offends you that much, because I see a day coming soon where literally every game joining the IGC has a deep Plus discount just before. We’re almost there now.
Pretty good month IMO. Been wanting to play Skullgirls for a long time. The other games really don’t interest me though. Can’t win em all. One thing I’d like to see are some PSOne classics and even a few PS2 classics on the IGC. I enjoy those games so much, and it’d be awesome to be able to add more classic ems to my digital library.
NO DRIVE CLUB. NO PLANITSIDE 2. No update 13 for Warframe . No ps1 or psp game for the vita. Vwalarr here’s your free indi game that some college student made in less than a week and not to mention it runs perfect on the ps4-some-ness because its in 2d. Next gen gameing nuff said.

I feel like the sport game is just a wasted slot. Sport games are released so many times over and over. I would of settled for a prequel of a game or something. Car games/Sport games are totally pointless. Also the fact that these kind of games just end up in the bargain bin at some game trade store for 2 bucks, so we’ll basically get them free soon enough. The other selections though are pretty good, and I look forward to this.

FYI: This is just a preview. Unlike the EU (where games join the IGC all at once when the month starts), the games here in NA are added 1-2 per week with the store update. Tuesdays at 2pm Pacific Time (or a bit later for best results).
this is whack, did sony turn into nintendo wish they could hook us up with a random encounter style rpg game, ive got to say im pretty dissapointed with alot of games i had been looking foward to, batman wasnt to bad but then i found out it takes like 8 hrs to beat finished xcom almost twice as fast as that same with brothers then theres that dues ex clone, payday 2 which is a exercise in repetition , 40gb download of uncharted 3 no thanks but nice try sony i own part 2 and from what ive heard prt 3 is so bad its almost unplayable, soccor i dont even know the damn rules of this game that i absolutely despise hell i dont even know how to spell it why am i going to play a game where people run around in a field for 2 hours and absolutely nothing happens,

Not to complain about freebies, but the PS Plus free game lineup has been pretty weak lately for US gamers, especially for PS3. It’s understandable that pickings are slim on Vita and PS4, but there is a gigantic catalog of PS3 games to draw from. The Plus subscriber bonus sale prices are nice, but usually if there’s a game on sale that I really wanted to play, chances are I already own it.
Getting free Vita/PS3 copies of games I’ve owned on other platforms for years now is nice, but it really doesn’t incentivize me to keep paying for a Plus subscription as a gamer who couldn’t care less about multiplayer. I think it would be great to see more legacy titles that are Playstation exclusive get some love.

I like how I bought a PS4 and the free games are graphically correct to play on a Sega. This is ridiculous. Come on PS, Show us what this new system can do. If we wanted these sucky graphic games, we would have stayed with the WII.

Just because you bought a PS4, it doesn’t mean that any business are obligated to give you games like INFAMOUS 2nd SOn for free. You got to be one of the foolish brats who wanted a free AAA titles for free right away from a console with just months old.
I am not a sports game fan, but its commendable that PS Plus has put PES 2014 up there for the jocks! I will like having it on hand for when non gamer sports fans visit.

For some reason, “Stick it to the Man!” and “Pro Evolution Soccer 2014” have unlocked but not “Skullgirls Encore” nor “Puppeteer” yet. I wonder when the latter two will be available for the Instant Game Collection as well.
Just wanted to say thanks to Sony for the great games. While every game isn’t to my taste, I really like Stick it to the Man and Puppeteer. Skull girls looks interesting.
For those who complain about indie titles, this is where we see new ideas flourish. Not in Call of Duty 4097. Been gaming a long time, and if it wasn’t for games like Grim Fandango, Earthworm Jim, Toejam & Earl and lots of other weird, funky games…well, let’s just say gaming would already be dead from stagnation.
There is plenty of room for indie titles between all the AAA , big budget releases.
ENOUGH INDIE, SIDE SCROLLER, last gen, remake CRAP. Its already annoying enough that ps3 games cost the same as ps4 and yet cannot be played. On top of that the streaming service is limited in games and you have to pay AGAIN!?! On that note whats with “recycling” the same games? Pre-order a game that is already out on ps3 ,”last of us”, and placing games that are unavailable in the “new this month” category. Lets see some real deals here for plus members, I would like a TRUE PS4 game instead of some lame psn crap.

Why there were some people commenting about Soul Sacrifice being back on PSPlus? I can’t see it, like at all. Was TOTALLY hoping to get that for next month… It’s even listed again on the psplus list of games on wikipedia. I feel cheated somehow.
Yeah… just deleted that PES 2014 game. Really can’t stand it, def. not meant for people that are new to soccer. They call it a “simulation” soccer game, but really it is just a slow, sluggish, soccer game with bad A.I. and laggy online play.
If you release a sports game in America, make it one that actually sells, like: Baseball, NFL football, or Basketball. But I guess this was probably much cheaper to acquire for the states. While in Brazil they pay 80$ U.S. currency for it.
No one is online in the team play and tourney modes and no one on my friends’ list is remotely interested in wasting HDD space to even try it. You’d think being free and all it would be much more popular, people had plenty of time to download it by now.

I really want to know why always they give 2+ games for ps3 and just one average title for ps4??! So far, no great “benefits” of having a ps4….
So PS3 gets Skullgirls, which is a fantastic fighting game, while ps4 gets an adventure game and Vita gets a puzzle game and a game that’s been out for years. Why exactly are the ps3 and ps4 lists even different in the first place? It’s like they don’t want the ps4 to have any sort of library at all! Come on Sony, get that excellent library of games onto the store!
