Thanks for the note! This post is more just to provide a “heads-up” of what’s coming — our PlayStation Store update post on Tuesdays provides pricing, sales, discounts, add-ons, and the like!

Solid drop. Only picking up Stick It To The Man this week, but there are plenty of other games I wish I was getting!

I want MLB the show 14 for the PS4… I can’t wait to play it. It’s gonna be the best version of the series by far. If this game doesn’t make every player look life like IDK what I would do.. I also play it so I can play as The Cardinals, and in my game they would never lose a WS ever again. GO CARDS..

I’m kinda on the fence about getting Borderlands 2 on the Vita. I’m a big Borderlands fan but I don’t think the Vita and it’s controls can handle the game.

Hey Ryan, is MLB 14 the Show (PS4) available for pre-download as one of the first possible games to utilize that recent firmware feature? If so, when?

Edzo04ps said:

pretty lame that you are making me buy someones borderlands 2 code on ebay instead of just launching it on 5/6

MikeEmCee83 said:

Could have swore Watch Dogs was going to be the first game to be able to be pre-downloaded.

Hey, isn’t Transistor coming out this week too?

plaztiksyke said:

May 4th, 11:46 am

yay Broken Sword!!! I was jealous Europe got it before us. I hope we get episode 2 more quickly. Broken Sword 3 was one of our fav adventure games on the original Xbox, I’d love to see an HD version come to PS Vita/4.

Based on my experience with Borderlands 2 at GDC, I’m going to hold off on purchasing until they’ve had a little more time to optimize it. While I appreciated the texture streaming, quite of a bit of the environment was just plain ugly textures that didn’t stream at all, and the level-of-detail on enemy models was way too low when using the sniper rifle. Given how great the post-release support for Killzone Mercenary has been, I’m sure Borderlands 2 will get great improvements in the months following release :)

LilTortillaMan said:

May 4th, 11:46 am

Okay, nevermind Transistor comes out on May 20th.

notoptimus said:

Titan Attacks also looks interesting.

plaztiksyke said:

May 4th, 11:49 am

So happy to finally have Sportsfriends available after playing it multiple times at GDC and PAX over the last year. I love that there’s a good stream of games with Move support arriving on PS4. (Now we just need more stereoscopic 3D games @ 1080p60…)

I really like Stick it to the Man’s art on PS3 (reminds me a lot of Liquid Television), so I’m excited to see if in 1080p native with improved texture quality. I’m so happy they made it cross-buy with Vita version, unlike other indie publishers.

@ Clements answer to #2.

I see no good reason to not include prices in this post. A “heads up” is useles. We already have those on the blog. Basically every game gets a post. So we know WHEN they come out, but not how much. Or if they can be pre-loaded. And sometimes, we still dont know, two days before release, if we can preorder.

My grocery store sends me a flier every week with about a thousand different items in i and every one has a price next to it. No guessing, no waiting til the sale starts, just giving me the info i need.

Since its been more than 5 minutes since you posted, i know you wont read or respond. Just know more info is always better.

AizawaYuuichi said:

To everyone asking about MLB The Show 14 pre-load: It’s not happening. The last update enabled the possibility for pre-loads, and they announced that Watch_Dogs would be the first game to take advantage of the feature. It releases in three weeks. So, nothing coming out before the 27th will have a pre-load option. There, I just answered people’s questions for the next two weeks as well.
