@42 Sly Cooper is a Sony title, all of their multiplatform games should support Cross-Buy. Sly Collection was also Cross-Buy in Europe, but it isn’t in North America. That doesn’t make any sense.
@47, wells, you are def. eligible for a refund (you can initiate Sony Chat if you’ll rather not call) if they’re late w/ DLC. I think “shaft” is a little harsh, their engineers are late uploading the DLC & those eligible are not permanently excluded from it. Anyways, good luck!

Discounting cash cards for GTA V? *facepalm* About as smart as the “free to play sale” you had not long ago. Limbo for me this week. I bought the retail version of the Sly Collection for Vita. Hoping they’ll eventually release a Lemmings demo.
There are a few errors in this post. Ys and Ragnarok are not compatible with PS3, and the LEGO Movie game is listed twice on PS3, once with an independent listing, and the other grouped with the Vita game.
Stop being so entitled goy… err I mean guys. Just because you LISCENSED the Sly Collection on PS3, doesn’t mean you get the Vita version. In fact you should be glad they’re even letting you own the first two on discs instead of making them all digital only.
@51, Gern- It makes plenty of sense. If you were that Dev for this project, how many meetings can one forego before someone asks: how are we going to make a profit?? Or… break even?
Shu handles Sony affairs, when he made that statement regarding how Cross-buy NOT being available across the board, likely he was regarding Sony titles as he can’t well speak for EA, Ubisoft, Namco, etc…
All those avatars, and still nothing from Tales. Sony? Please bug Bamco into releasing them to us; after all both EU and JPN have them…

@57 The devs get paid prior to launch. Sly Cooper Collection isn’t some indie game. Sony enabled Cross-Buy support for GoW Collection on Vita weeks ago in North America. It was ported by the same studio too.
I see more things that I would like to buy, but will I?? Absolutely not. They took my games away after giving them to me for two whole day.
The big sony lack of support PS1 PSP give and take back game screw up lack of gamer appreciation incident.

Also, the item is listed as Add-on.
IMHO, if you lose SFIV AE, you’ll have to buy it again or renew your PS Plus.
Ouch! $30 for Monster Monpiece. A strategy card game that already has a ton of DLC. Really? I expected it to be in the $10-$15 range.
@59, Gern- Then perhaps Sony wanted more profits? Isn’t there a Sly film in the works? Ye can’t be surprised when Shu made that statement & Sly & the GOW audience are likely very different. Basically, gamers will ask if “Cross-buy is available?” but the answer isn’t always “yes.”

Anyone else experiencing issues with the web version of the PlayStation store? I can log into the blog here but after I log into the SEN store via any web browser, it ends up saying “Failed to sign in” and such. Is it because Watch Dogs is out today?
Welp that pretty much sucks that the Sly Cooper collection is crossbuy in Europe and yet North America doesn’t get the same deal. Also, I’m thinking I’ll wait until the eventual Game of the Year Edition (aka all of the DLC/exclusives/skins/dogs/watches/etc. included) version of Watch_Dogs…..plus hopefully by then the graphics will have been improved by the inbound patches/updates from Ubisoft, as is tradition.
I love how Sony charges $10 extra for the PS4 version of Watch Dogs in Canada, but charges the same price as in the US for the PS3 version. Why do Canadian PS4 owners have to pay $10 more for a game that is sold “at par” with the US for the PS3 version?
Either be consistent, or stop artificially inflating Canadian game prices for your new console and using the exchange rate as the excuse. It’s absolutely ridiculous that every new PS4 title is magically $69.99 while the PS3 version of the same game is priced exactly the same as in the US.
Also, I’m not sure if it was intentional or not, but right now in the Price Drops section, Killzone Shadow Fall, Knack, Beyond: Two Souls, The Last of Us, and Gran Turismo 6 are all priced at $39.99 right now!
Mind Zero is mine! I played it a while this afternoon. Seems like it’s going to be a lot of fun.
@75 Swotam.. it not sony making that price it Canada. When psn and ps blog was 1st formed all Canada gamers and usa where one group and all bought games at usa osn price… I don’t know what happen some issues occurred and sony made psn Canada and they have their own store own prices.
Its not sony doing, it Canada doing. In the past it was never liked that, but then one day its just changed .. Sony just had break us up and create a different prices and etc. Yea it sucks. but it how it is. now. I don’t know If it was legal thing. but It happened. Sorry man.

Somebody might wanna look into those Minecraft skin/texture packs. They don’t show in game after install.
So we are back to the misleading use of the term “Regular Price” again. In one table, we have “Plus Price” and “Regular Price” (referring to Sale Price for non-Plus members); in another table, we have “Sale Price” and “Regular Price” (referring to price before sale).

@84, I know. In the Discount table (the first one, with Mind Zero, Lego Movie, Master Reboot, “Regular Price” should be “Sale Price” (to non-Plus members). It is confusing as, to any regular person, “Regular Price” means price before the sale. In the Sale table, they use the term “Regular Price” correctly.
This inconsistency in meaning is confusing. It also leads to people thinking that Plus members are only getting a tiny discount on the normal price during the sale.
It’s been pointed out week after week. Eventually a couple of weeks ago the PS Blog staff listened and started to change. But now they have forgotten again.
Prediction: E3 announcement of a Rayman game entering the PS3 IGC to replace one of the core titles… And probably Catherine in the next few months since that is on sale.
So Child of Light was cross-buy in Europe and Asia but not in US. Now Sly Collection too?
Before anyone says that the Europe price for Child of Light is higher and they are actually paying for both versions, let me point out that the Asia price is much lower (typically prices of most things on the PSN store are higher in Asia). In Asia, PS+ members can get the Digital Deluxe Edition with cross-buy at US$12.
I know, that’s Ubisoft setting the price, this is Sony setting the price. Just disappointing that Sony is sticking it to the US consumers. (And of cos, now the “you ungrateful spoiled brats feel so entitled” posts will be flooding in…)

@88 asia tax is lower for electronic and digital items. in eu an canada . aus. usa. its not low.. It is not sony sticking it to usa customers. different country differ tax codes. and cost codes. In the past all psn gamer where in usa buying usa psn cost for games and etc.. It got broken up( * eu was not in usa psn nor aus, but Canada was*..)
Console gaming is not as big over there. Pc gaming/arcade gaming is what hot in asia and china and etc. Japan is a mix blend.
You can M benz cheaper in asia than in Eu. but the tax to bring it here to the state or Eu will eat you alive. LoL. In countries like Eu and aus.they do self made buying not a lot import buying, they think import buying destroy people mind and country made products. also. destroy the culture climate if you will, also hurts local buying power.. So the there-for the tax/cost will be higher to get .it.
@92, It has nothing to do with tax. That was just ONE game that is cheaper on the Asia store. Probably 90% of everything else is more expensive on the Asia store (or at best equal) than in US. Going by your logic, Sony is taking advantage of the Asia customers than?

@93 It has every thing to do with tax. im saying everything is made by the certain countries tax codes for pricing along with the devs not sony unless it a sale , sony control some discount sale(like ps plus for their own products) and so do the devs it a partnership. This is not a argument or me vs you? me or you have nothing to do with the sales.
btw asia is not as that expensive, 1 usd is 3 dollars there. So no not very expensive. in places like Taiwan one dollars usd is 30$ in their money. But to get that for them is very, very hard. so 13$ in asia is expensive to them

Was really looking forward to Watch Dogs. Now that you (Sony) and Ubisoft have decided you would rather try to screw me over thanks to the handicap of being Canadian, I think I’ll be holding off. I’ll find a used copy later on so neither of you see my money.
