  • What is the deal with this:

    Rayman Origins (PS3) $9.99 $19.99
    Rayman Origins (PS3) $13.49 $26.99

?? I guess I would buy the $9.99 given the choice.

I’m guessing Rayman Origins (PS3) $9.99 $19.99 is supposed to say VITA and not PS3.

When will we see the Showtime Anywhere app hit PSN?
I don’t have HBO or Amazon Prime, but showtime I do and their app is actually very good.

  • 2 Rayman Origins (PS3)? Where Rayman Origins for the Vita which it should be?

  • @98

A lot of people are having problems with the season pass code from gamestop. Call playstation support.

  • Don’t bother wasting your money on the Lockdown Skins pack for Injustice:Gods Among Us! You pay the money, but you don’t get anything for it! No new skins get added in the game. I’m tired of wasting money and getting nothing from PS3.

  • Ace Combat: Infinity is out today on PS3, the latest iteration in the classic flight combat series. I took part in the beta, it was really fun and the free to play element isn’t quite as bad as I thought it would be. I highly recommend giving it a try. For some reason it’s not listed as a new release above, even though the DLC is.

  • Not only is Rayman Legends for Vita not on sale, but Origins is MORE expensive on Vita than PS3??

Are you kidding me Sony? Why do you make it so hard to love you, and be able to enjoy and feel proud of owning a Vita?

I swear sometimes you act like you really want to run Vita into the ground.

Unless Legends i joining the IGC next month. Which is possible I suppose.

So i guess I’ll hold off all purchases until next months IGC is revealed.

  • Still waiting for the following ps1 classics

    Einhander
    Suikoden 2
    Vandal hearts 1 and 2
    Megaman legends 1 and 2
    Jade cocoon
    Die hard trilogy
    Saga frontier
    Diablo

    And these for the psp

    Final fantasy vii crisis core
    Ea replay

And how about a sale on the following

    Zip unlosing ranger
    Snk arcade classics volume 1

More ps1 classics and psp sales in General would be appreciated.

  • Great week for Vita! All the new games and also Limbo for free. Oh, and there’s that Watch Digs thing. Sooo much!

  • Just a quick question. The Lego Movie Videogame is listed twice for PS3, one bring cross buy. There is a 15 $ difference between them, so it that simply an error or are both of them really playable on PS3?

  • Grand theft auto 5 is discounted as well but only the add-on’s are listed here.

  • Any news on Swapper? Press release said May release date :/

  • Watch Dogs was even developed in ****ing Canada.

It now joins Destiny as a game I won’t have any problem buying used, something I never do.

  • I would Love to have Ar Tonelico 1 & 2 on the Store PS2 games….i’d pay $60 bucks for them each, love those games

  • @78 mcbuttz78 Actually no, the PSN store for US and Canada are the same North American site, it just has different regional pricing since Sony started charging 15% more for first party titles supposedly due to the exchange rate. Now that they’ve done this, other publishers are hopping on board since they can get $10 more for the same game despite the fact that they’re already making more profit on digital downloads because there’s no costs associated with physical media and packaging. The problem is, they’re not consistent about it which makes it look like the $10 extra for the PS4 version of Watch Dogs is nothing more than a money grab.

I’m not going to bother arguing with you about it since (based on your previous posts) you obviously feel a need to justify the various things that Sony and their partners do to screw customers over, but the end result is that pricing the PS4 version of a game $10 higher than the PS3 version of the same game, despite the fact that in the US they are both the same price, and using the exchange rate argument as justification is bull. It’s a cash grab, pure and simple.

And we can thank Sony for starting the whole trend.

  • Please don’t base claim on people.. If your not happy with the price thats fair but Canada psn and usa psn are not the same. Same region of north America. yes. same psn . no,, it whole new team running that canadian psn store for you guys.

Its already been said next gen games are going to cost a little more. You cant blame sony for 3rd party games cost in which they don’t own. The dev/publisher control those cost. Sony is nt the dev/publisher of watch dog video game.. You cant expect every thing in usa to cost the same in another country. Tax on electronic is expensive.

naughty dawgs is from Canada if they(sony) was sticking to you and Canada, a game from naughty dawg would never get made. Or cost so much they couldn’t see profits. Think about that for a minute. I under your anger in cost but sony is not sticking it to you. in reality they cant that would be fraud.

  • Watch Dogs was developed in Canada. And even with the exchange rate it shouldn’t be 10$ more. The US dollar isn’t that strong. If the in-store version was 10$ more I’d say meh, they’re probably printed in the US and with shipping costs and the exchange rate, ok, I can deal with 10$ more. But the digital version?!? Also, games weren’t cheaper when the Canadian dollar was stronger.

They’re just back to the PS2 basics of making anything Canada 10$ more, something that had never been done on the PS3.

Some companies won’t follow suit with that, and they’ll get my money first.

  • Persona 4: Golden (PS Vita) $19.99 $29.99 … do you call it a sale? really?

  • How come Mind Zero, is discounted for $27 but $40 on retail, is it just too see who goes with what the most digital/retail?

  • Just want to say thanks to Sony Customer Service.

I incorrectly pre ordered Watch Dogs for the PS3 and really wanted it for PS4.

They reimbursed me and I now have the PS4 version.

    Great game !

  • i will wait for watch dogs to be cheaper or i get 10 bucks on psn from somewhere other then my wallet

  • Decided to pick up the retail copy of Sly Cooper Collection for Vita. I was very surprised and disappointed to find a download voucher for Sly 3 instead of having it on the card. Is it really that difficult for Sony to make a card that can hold all six gigs? Did we really need that 2.6 gig download?

Please don’t think your customers don’t notice these sorts of things.

  • Is anyone else having problems with the watch dogs game it make my ps3 go crazy don’t no if is making my ps3 over heat the fan inside my ps3 is going super fast like if the ps3 is overheating

  • the only way to turn it off. I need to unplug it

  • @ #109 / msam91: None of the versions of The Lego Movie Videogame are listed as cross-buy. If they were, it would actually say (cross-buy) next to the title. What you’re seeing is the PS Vita version being listed as “compatible” with the PS3, as you can download it on PS3 then transfer it to the Vita. That is all the header is implying. Each version is a separate purchase.

  • @ 42 – 100% correct. What is with new gamers nowadays becoming whinny crybabies that expect EVERYTHING for free? The Sly Collection on Vita took time & effort to make & Sanzaru did a masterful job in transferring it to Vita so tell me y the fact that u bought it on PS3 for significantly less than 30$ entitles u to get it on Vita for free? Don’t u care at all about supporting good developers & supporting good games? It’s much bigger than your self entitled ways of thinking, if we don’t support a game like Sly Coll. then y would Sony push to make a Ratchet & Clank Collection? I was glad to drop 29.99 on a physical copy of Sly & i bought a physical copy of GoW Collection on Vita even though i own GoW Collection on disc for PS3 i wasn’t mad that ppl who own GoW digitally (on PS3) got it free on Vita (u deserve some perks for buying digital ). Sony gives u soo much for free, but u guys just want everything – good luck with crossbuy on xbox.

@ 114 – What…. blame Sony for Watchdogs (PS4) costing 10$ more in Canada because they “started the trend”. For the less informed Watchdogs is a 3rd party game meaning Sony didn’t dev or publish it & in no way do they control the price. Ubisoft does what they feel is right u can not blame Sony for Ubisoft’s decision. In the same respect does every xbox fan praise Sony for starting the free games with ps plus model (where ms obviously got their games with gold policy) or do they shower Sony with accolades for obviously being the inspiration for the MANY policy reversals (drm) xbone has made & continues to make in an attempt to mirror every successful thing the PS4 does? Xbone should praise Sony for allowing it to have a blu-ray drive right?

@ 114 – Quite honestly i am surprised that AAA next gen games don’t cost 10$ more as a standard. These next gen games certainly cost more $ to make yet games are no more expensive than they were a decade ago. The PS4 version of Wolfenstein is 55gb with the day 1 patch, 55gb means more polygons & more content meaning it took alot of time, $, & manpower to produce. Destiny cost 500 million to make doubling the cost of gta5. Being a dev/publisher nowadays is more risky than ever, look at an awesome company like THQ going bankrupt because u guys didn’t buy excellent games like Metro or Darksiders & honestly Homefront wasn’t the complete turd it was depicted as it had a FAR better campaign than cod ghosts – THQ’s latest UFC game was tremendous as well & i doubt EA’s will be better. The point being is not all of the companies are money hungry infact the ones that are seem to get a pass – ie CoD/Activision & ms/Forza5 are a jk with microtransactions, unfair policy, & yearly re-skinned copy & paste games using the same old engine. Sony/Guerrilla should be comended for things like KZ Shadowfall giving away every new mp map for free – something cod would charge 50$ for. Soul Sac gives all the dlc for free.

  • You guys should start making themes for the ps4 tired seeing the same one everyday??????

  • iamtylerdurden1

I was surprised that Watchdogs didn’t get a Pulse Elite/Gold headset app like gta5, Bioshock, 2nd Son ect got. C’mon Sony we need more games with their own app especially AAA 1st party games like Beyond 2 Souls, Shadowfall, & Knack. At least AAA monsters like Watchpups & Destiny should have it – oh & perhaps AC. Btw the Pulse Elites r awesome everyone should get em.

  • @114 +1.

I am sure the situation will get explained however it is to try to make sense for the unknowing.
The fact the game took this long and still had to be downgraded leaves much to be desired, although I would much rather have them give a finished product regardless of such, instead of just releasing it problems and all.

Only two things that come immediately to mind.
1.It is from what I infer, Canadian made (which would be on the designers part).
2.A way for the company to continue developement.( It is Ubisoft, so hard to say ).

As I said, I am by no means completely informed, or have purchased the game.

But, the fact ANYONE buys a PS4 without previous game compatibility and MP4, is beyond me.
    -BEYOND.

    * Oh well, reviews gave Borderlands 2 for Vita a bad rap from what I can tell so far, so as usual, it is a difference of perspective. *

  • Oh and Sony Media Specialists.
I expect the attention Sword Art Online deserves, don’t let this one get overlooked.

    Don’t let me down.

  • iamtylerdurden1

@ 130 – Me & the other 8 million ppl that bought a PS4 did so in order to play Killzone Shadowfall, 2nd Son, Knack, Resogun, Warframe Mercenary Kings, Driveclub, 1886 The Order, & the best versions (by far!) of multiplat games like Wolfenstein, MLB 14, NFS, Watchpuppies, AC4, Tomb Raider, & TLOU. Ur right about Borderlands2 on Vita, the game is beautiful, smooth, & a stunning example of what the Vita can do.

  • Finally, some Minecraft add-ons.

  • Monokuma Avatar NOW!!!!!!

  • To anyone on the fence about buying Watchdogs, ignore all the trolls and haters that are whining about the framerate, graphics, etc. The game runs just fine on PS4. I’d highly recommend it if you’re into open world games.

  • watch_dogs is amazing but it make me wish there was some kind of GTA/open-world kind of game on the Vita…anyway it seems like a good update.
BTW, YS: MEMORIES OF CELCETA is not on the PS3 but your update says it’s on the PS3.

  • @ 124 : Thank you for the reply! Good to know.

  • Mind Zero :)

Namco should hurry up and put the last two pre order characters Yagyuu and Kira!!!

  • Reading the blog and it sounds like some of you havent even played these games. I didnt get my ps4 for crap games like merc kings that sucks online and should be on the old nintendo. But really people? Tomb raider is an old game that was updated to the ps4. Resogun, and all these other indies are a slap in the face to all of us that spend that kind of money for less than 20 hours of play. Warframe better be free, it puts me to sleep. I havent played wolfenstein but i reqd it was solo only. Either way the game line up is a shame. Sony seems to have busted thier butts over this system, which i love, but the game companies are just making quick 123 crap games. Dont get me started with the highly rated transistor. 14 hours later i woke up and the game was done. Wheres all the big titles? Just a new cod? Great! Time to spend even more money to aim and shoot. No thanks. Next free paid for ps4 game? Zzzzzzzzz

  • I dont blame you sony. And your customer support rocks. Keep up the fight. Tell these companies we want serious game titles that we can go online and play for more than a few hours. My next games are elder scrolls online (maybe) and eventually metal gear fiver. Lol. Those are a ways away! Im tired of spending $20 and $60 and finding myself a week later looking for the next. (Though of course that prolly makes you happy) but a lot of these store indie games could have been for free on my tablet.

  • And one more annoying thing from me…if it takes you weeks to play these games like sly, then you eiher dont play often whatsoever, or you just cant play well. A gamer should sit down to games like sly, walk through them no problem, and watch it collect dust. Those games are that easy. No offense whatsoever, my 5 and 3 year olds have trouble with sly too, well they did for a couple days until they got used to it. I know its opinion, but it seems to be a popular one. While they at it, might as well play spyro and crash and mix in the really bad micky game they gave for the ps3. Then…enjoy! Im a positive kinda guy…

  • SLEEPLESS_KNIGHT

Awesome Thief demo for PS4! That’s definitely one disturbing trend I’ve found so far with “next-gen”. The lack of demos. On PS3 most games had demos. Most of those were available prior to the game releasing at retail as well. Makes sense right? Try before you buy. With PS4 there is a sheer lack of demos and even fewer have been available prior to the retail release. I realize it’s up to the 3rd parties to decide when and IF they are going to provide demos, but still…

  • I get very frustrated every time I see the discounts. In Bulgaria – one of the poorest countries in EU prices are much higher ! ! ! For example Rayman 3 HD in our playstation store currently costs 13.79 $ while as I see for the other part of the world is costs 2.49$ ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

  • I bought the Season pass yesterday and installed it, but I don’t have any of the content. I have checked for the Conspiracy game mode, and I don’t have it still. Any help please?

  • CommandingTiger

Canadians are getting dissed on the PS4, again.
I can do cross-border shopping and still end up paying less than this.
    This is BS.

  • CommandingTiger

    @KiLLjoY-42481
A lot of those indies have their places on the PS4. So far Mercenary Kings lasted far more than 20 hours and the Nintendo cartridges would be able to push out these graphics nor hold the amount of content that game provides.
There are still many games coming out for both the PS3 and the PS4. Quit your complaining, it’s the console that has the most games, more than what the Wii U and the Xbox One has combined. If you traded in your PS3 then that’s not my concerned.

You say you want a challenge, then play a higher difficulty.
People complained in God of War Ascension because there was a Boss that was too hard to beat. I didn’t.
In my free time, I do something else than always playing video games. You know, like working or other activities.
You can’t blame developpers for not releasing games. It’s summer, like usual there’s gonna be a drought.
So go outside, go to the beach, to the woods, out in a trip to town. It’s summer, who wants to be locked indoors?

  • @MagnusLee69

I am having the exact same problem with the lockdown pack for Injustice. I downloaded and installed it straight from the PS store. Nothing showed up, went to re-download it through the DLC menu in-game and still nothing. I tried going to the DLC pack through the Ultimate Edition of the game (which I own) on the PS store to download it, Checked and still nothing. You’re the only other person I know of with this problem. I’ve probed on-line and have find no solutions or barely any talk of this pack since it’s far removed from being promoted by anyone.

  • I’m gonna take a look at this Dailyburn app, if its good than it can take the place of Wii Fit U for me. FEEL THE BURN

  • There should be a discount for buying digital. I mean think about it…

  • Yall should add a bowling game in the playroom
