It would have been great if there was a showing in every state. I would love to go, but a 3 hour drive to the nearest showing is a bit much. I think this is a great idea and can’t wait to hear about the event.
hey, so I registered for two tickets for my husband and I, but when i got the confirmation email, it listed my name for both the tickets. Since we have to use our ID as our tickets, is this going to keep us from getting in? Has anyone else had this happen? I just don’t want to drive the hour to get to the theater only to find out that I can’t watch the press conference at all. Tried contacting the support email but haven’t gotten anything back…
The closest one to me is Charlotte NC and that’s 4 hours away from where I live

An E3 without him isn’t the same.
In my confirmation email, my guest’s name is listed twice instead of having my guest’s name and my name. Will I be able to go? I put my name in the sign up form, so I don’t know why my guest’s name is listed twice.

There should be access to this on the PS4. At least that part of E3 because it is huge.

Damn, I just heard and Chicago is already sold out. Common Sony, open another venue. I’d pay ticket price to get in, even if it’s slightly inflated.
I’m mildly disappointed that the closest theater to me (In Toronto) is more than 250 Miles away.
I just want PS Swag. I started the line to buy a PS4 in my city (11 hours in advance, spent most the night alone and had to tell a male prostitute off), thinking I might get a hat or something, but no.
Anyway, I’m still a PS fan-boy all day long, t-shirt or not.

From the response i got from Sony you will need to be there as early as possible to get a good spot in line if your on the waiting list. If you have a ticket you MUST arrive 15 minutes before the show begins at 8pm Central. At 7:45pm Central they will begin filling any empty seats with people on the waiting list. Which btw you will need you waiting list email printed out. If you have a actual ticket and show up at 7:50 you will not be getting in. The ticket guarantees entry at 7:30pm-7:45pm Central. Event starts at 8 and ends at 10. The last 30 minutes is special stuff like extra clips and what not they are not showing at E3.
p.s. I will be in houston. Its a 4 hour drive but managed to get 2 tickets before they sold out. Dallas only had waiting list when i got to it

Well cancel that I received two confirmations they were just in my junk email, however they both have my sons information on them and not mine. His name is listed twice on both confirmations?

Is the Salt Lake City correct Location google or bing century 16 in downtown ?
I registered for 2 tickets on May 28 for the Virginia Beach, Virginia location and never received my confirmation email. After I finished registering it said I would receive an email confirmation. I saw some people have posted that they have already received an email confirmation. I can provide all information I registered with. I would like to find out what I need to do to correct this issue in a timely manner. I contacted customer support phone line and they told me to post here. Thanks
So nobody from Sony can help with the duplicate name problem in our emails? I’ve seen it is a major problem on various forums, and no one has heard anything from Sony on the matter. To clarify, the duplicate name problem is that our guest’s name is listed twice in the emails, instead of having our name and the guest name.
I took a screen shot of the confirmation page and have my confirmation number, but no email back.

To those with dupe names on their confirmation emails: i bet they have the right info listed but the computer made that error repeatedly. the confirmation number in screenshot should get you in id think but remember to have ID as they may check at the door.
To those who never got their email: did you check your spam? one person just said theirs were in spam.
To those on waiting list(if the button worked… i hear u just show up first come first serve but my sis could be wrong.) im sure you have to camp because its first come first serve.

I love playstation over nintendo and i started off with mario/duck hunt at the age of 9. cant afford swag, but im not going for a gift, im going for the awesome reveals. id gonif they charged and gave nothing… provided i could swing the cost…
I don’t like the idea of special treatment for people who are lucky enough to live in those locations. It’s not fair. You should give all content to everyone. Also it would be cool just to be able to see this on a big screen but the lucky ones will get more special treatment too by getting gifts? You shouldn’t do that. You should give everyone something free on that day instead of only a few who live in those locations. Also some of us have to work on that day and we are bigger fans than many you will give special treatment to. That’s aggravating Sony!!!

I checked my spam folder and contacted the Playstation blog by email. They addressed the duplicate name issue to me in an email but my issue was never receiving my confirmation email.
If i’m 13 and my dad took me and showed him his ID, do you think i would be let in? I have a waiting list confirmation email for the both of us, but the theater is 1hr away. Do you think i should stick to the live streams or try my luck?

The exact same thing happened to me! I was worried I had mistyped in my excitement… So yeah, my name is nowhere in the confirmation email, and my boyfriend’s name is there twice. Hopefully they take notice of this bug and let us in!
@REALROBLAW: honestly things like this are exclusive, and they tend to give promotional gifts, HOWEVER i hope i speak for all goers that it is about the reveals, not the gifts. i normally am left out of anything exclusive. im blezsed that my sister encouraged me to shoot for baton rouge-we’re in NW tx, but we’re driving 8 hours for this!:) im sorry you cant go, i thought for sure i coukdnt so i know how you feel. thank you sony for this dream come true!:)
@298 A ribcage away I got a confirmation email that listed my guest’s name twice, but yesterday they sent me another email saying to bring the confirmation email and an id and it will be ok.
