That’s what I thought it was just weird because it shows on sale but it isn’t. No rush got till the 16th. I was wondering why I forgot its not fully updated until 5/6.
the flash sale was like that too. most of the prices were up by 4:30 but it only finished at like 5:10.

Now they’ve secretly edited this page to increase the price by $3? What the hell?
One thing doesn’t add up is that it said 50% off and Plus 60% off but Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is 21$ and plus 18.89$ so either you did a mistake or I been lie to. Also in PlayStation store it say 30%off and plus 50% off so is this a mistake too. I want MGZV:GZ for 15$ since I have plus and it cost 30$ regular so 50 % off equal 15$ So any one in charge respond.
@156, a few days ago MGS:GZ was listed as $14.69 for PS+. They secretly edited this page and raised the price for some reason.
@155 and @156, it was a ninja edit. When I checked the blog entry it originally had $14.69 listed (which is right around 50% off). Now, they’ve changed it to almost $19. While $4 isn’t that drastic of an increase, it’s the principle of the matter. If you post a price, stick with it.
this is appalling, now Sony is trying to play dumb like they didn’t edit the prices,won’t be buying digital anymore or the next playstation.
Yesterday it said Metal Gear Solid GZ was 15$ with PS plus now it’s 18$ What’s the dealllll??? I like my 3$…

FFxiv is showing as the non plus price. I am hoping they are not going to do the same thing here
It still isn’t reflecting the 18 dollars price just the 20.99 and I saw that it was 14 the other day. Wish they’d give it to us for the original sale price they had it shown for.
remember a time when a company would honor their advertised price even if it was a misprint? I guess everyone saying how good of a price it is made them reconsider selling it so cheap. And people say sony doesn’t even care to read these posts…..
They do read the posts but now the sale post reflects this new price. I was looking forward to mgs and final fantasy 14 but neither are showing up at the price I was excited about. Cheap but that leaves I spur taste in my mouth to pay extra of they did mess up.
As of 16:22 EST, PS Plus pricing for BF4 for PS3 is not showing anywhere on the PSstore. Is this a date thing or an error?
On your main screen it is showing BF4 as 35.99 for PS Plus Members. This is on PS4. Grabbed a screenshot of it. I want my game as advertised.
Not only did they try to sneakily change the prices but they failed to change the banner. On here it says 50% off and PlayStation plus up to 60% on the store it says 40% and 50% PlayStation plus
got my price for ff14, guess its just mgs purchasers that will get the new improved pricing.
I’m waiting for Diablo III on PS4… if i buy it now… i would have to buy it again when the ps4 comes out? Right? I think i’ll keep waiting…
Maybe all of you need to learn a little bit of Basic Law or how to read the small print before commenting.
It’s NEVER “50% off” or “60% off” (or whatever the amount of choice) on ALL GAMES. It’s “UP TO…x% off”. There’s a HUGE difference.
Did they changed the prices? Yup, they did. Can they do that? HELL, YEAH they can! Why? Because the sale WAS NEVER LIVE yet! So they can do whatever the hell they want up until that point. So…deal with it. Anyone disagreeing with the *new* prices…can simply stay away from the Store.
And the same goes for the ones demanding 50% (or whatever) off “x” game: they only need 1 (ONE) game at whatever they’re advertising. All the other games can have a 1% off discount if they want it.
So anyway…JUST STOP CRYING for a few bucks. Buy something or don’t. Nobody cares about it. Especially NOT Sony. Cheers!
i was tempted to get the psn games but then i remember that it seems like every psn game that goes on sale ends up free for ps+ users soon after.
Well, I was going to throw down for a few games in this, but I’m not sure I can support raising the prices of the sale the day after it is announced.
Teach me a lesson then… Front page shows BF4 at $35.99. Checkout shows $48. Which should I have to pay. Obviously the advertised price, correct? If not, that’s false advertising. Oops, I guess you got the lesson.

I saw 14 dollars for the ps4 mgs. I’m not crying just think it’s a little bit inconvenient. I was excited for it at that price and if you look the banner on the blog is different than the on on the store was just pointing it out I’m not UPSET at the banner or fine print I’m upset because the large print said 14 bucks. Yeah it’s not that mu h of I difference but still I should have for it by that price. That’s like me going to dinner and ordering off the menu only to be told they raised the price after I order. Yeah I know it wasn’t live yet but still inconvenient.
Was looking forward to picking up Ground Zeroes for $14 for my PS4, til I saw the last-minute price change. Another lost sale, I guess.
Saw the price for MGS:GZ was wrong in the store so came here to check, and it looks like they edited the article without posting an update notice? Not very professional. Oh well, I’ll wait for the next sale, Sony’s not hurting for my $15 anyway. Saints Row IV and Luftrausers will be enough for now.

I was in retail, just got out because I am tired of dealing with the entitled twirps that this country is now mass producing. However, when I told someone a price, then found out I made a mistake and it was $10 or $20 more, I would honor that price and eat the difference. If you see an ad for x price advertised, you take that ad into the store and they say sorry, we are not honoring that price, would you not be a little ticked off? People have the right to say hey, didn’t that say x price yesterday for the next week and they changed it. That really sucks. At least they could say hey, we made a mistake….

I am also posting to let you know that I was going to buy MSGGZ the listed 14.69$ price, but I won’t be buying it at 18.89$.
First out of principle of the ninja edit price change and the fact that the price isn’t that good in the end.
Second, out of principle because of Kojima charging too much for a demo.
Last, because I don’t want it that much. At 14.69$ it was worth taking the chance, but not at close to 19$, sorry.

What gives on the Metal Gear pricing? I went to buy it today after seeing the posting showing it was $14 on Monday, but now it’s $18. Would be nice to have a clarification on why this happened.
I am also posting to let you know that I was going to buy MSS:V GZ for the listed 14.69$ price, but now that PSN has shadily handled their misprint I will not be. And will be more hesitant to purchase digital in the future as well now.

You are right though: they SHOULD HONOR that price…but they are NOT legally bounded to it. There’s a difference. And, unfortunately, Sony is starting to shift from an awesome customer-friendly company to a profit-and-power-hungry one. So…we are out of luck. =(
bobarue yes if you buy the FF14 ARR PS3 version you can upgrade for free to the PS4. That is why there is no buy price for the PS4. You also still get 30 days free.
Does MGS GZ on PS4 include the retail DLC??? Anyone know??
