You’ve been waiting for it and it’s finally here. At E3 2014 we unveiled two trailers, one for each of the PS4 projects we’re currently developing. The UNCHARTED game we’ve been working on sees the return of…well, why don’t you watch the trailer and see for yourself:
That’s Nathan Drake rendered in full 1080p glory, using the power of our PS4 engine. All footage you see in the trailer was captured completely in engine. We’re targeting 60fps for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and as you can see, the visual fidelity for our character models will reach new heights. In fact, thanks to the power of PS4, right now Drake’s Uncharted 4 model is over double the polygons of Joel from The Last of Us PS3.
The next generation of Nathan Drake is going to be very real and will explore what it means when Drake is forced back into the world of thieves. He will embark on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. It’s his greatest adventure yet and will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.

I really hope this doesn’t turn out like Uncharted 3. Uncharted 3 was an absolute mess. Please have good level design and pacing like Uncharted 2.
With all the problems Naughty Dog has been experiencing with this game, it will be interesting to see if they can end the series with another game like Uncharted 2 but with Uncharted 3’s multiplayer aspects. Who knows? This may not be the end completely. Naughty Dog could make a prequel to their games. Although I wasn’t a big fan of Golden Abyss, of course that wasn’t a Naughty Dog title. The game itself looks really good and if they can manage to pull off a great story like they have in the past, you could be looking at a game of the year addition. The game of the year edition will come days after you buy the game at launch though. That always seems to be just my luck.
Naughty Dog you guys rock. I have faith that this game will hit one out of the park. Drake really looks like he is as old as Nolan North now. Just saying, lol.
I LOVE Uncharted. Its maybe my favorite series of all time. But I think 4 needs to end the story (as the name implies). Or at least end Nathan Drake’s story. I love these characters so much and I don’t want to see them get stale. Also, I hope Elena and Nate are still together!

1st off, trailer looks awesome! I unlike others think the “thief’s end” part is referring to someone else other then Drake, possibly even Sully. Maybe something along the lines of them both rescuing Elena and Sully or someone else in the group like Cutter or Chloe biting the bullet along the way. Either way this game will be great just like the others and I’m really looking forward to it.
Also I remember ND saying they will make Uncharted games until people don’t want them anymore so I don’t think this will be the last one, I could be wrong though. I’m hoping I am right though, it would be a shame for such a strong series to end here.
the model does look a little off. His face area maybe its the more clean shave or something going on.

You know… in a world where all we do is fight over 1080p and 60fps, it is good to remember the good ol’ days when we could fight over polygon count :)
As a 360 gamer who purchased a PS4, I’m really hoping for some new series from Sony. I do not like: Killzone, Little Big Planet, Infamous, Resistance, or Uncharted. I will, however, give Uncharted 4 a chance and I want to try The Last of Us.
Sadly, if the PS4 library is just a repeat of the PS3, I’ll probably be switching to PC. So please, Sony, branch out. LBP sucks and only pretentious people like Uncharted. The Order 1886 is a step in the right direction, though.
Also Sony should change their image. The PS4 is awesome but it still has that “2nd place” or “loser” stench to it that the PS3 had. That’s why you should just cancel Little Big Planet. If Uncharted is pretentious then LBP is, well, what’s the adjective for people who have horrible taste and like bad gameplay?

Targeting 1080p 60 fps with those graphics? I really don’t think that’s possible on the ps4 unless they have the greatest engine ever made, which maybe they do, lol.
As expected from Naughty Dog… … …Who am i kidding? This surpasses my expectations by a lot.
Even though i dont have a PS4, this is, without any doubt, a must-have title for a next-gen console

BTW, Naughty Dog!! PLEASE make the Uncharted trilogy for PS4!! The Last Of Us is AMAZING and all but Uncharted is DEFINITELY superior I’m sorry!! If The Last Of Us is coming to PS4, the Uncharted trilogy is just a MUST!! Xbox One is getting The Master Chief Collection, blow them outta the water with a Nathan Drake Collection on PS4 ;)

Like Infamous, theyre “targeting” 60 fps. Which means the end result will probably run around 40 fps on average.
This can’t be the Last Uncharted game.
If Naughty Dog wants to make other games, I can understand, but this can’t be the end of Uncharted nor Drake.
Maybe Sully can retire. But we want more Uncharted games.
We could have a new hero if you want to, Drake could also make an appearance as a secondary character for Uncharted 5.
It can’t be the end for Uncharted.
