Update: An earlier headline for this post stated that Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is coming to PS Vita, which was incorrect. Type-0 is coming to PS4 in North America and Europe.
I’d like to start this out by thanking everyone who let us know how badly you wanted this game to come to North America. Ever since the original PlayStation Portable release in Japan, you guys have never given up on it, raising your voices in an effort to see this title come to North America and Europe. Well, I’m here to tell you that it’s coming and it’s going to be in HD.

I don’t personally know a single person who “wanted a 100 percent vita e3 conference”. I know PLENTY of people who wanted just 10 minutes of Vita footage and announcements.
Doesn’t sound like the way most of you are overreacting like i said, the PS4 just got released this year you should of known that barely any vita would’ve been mentioned. Sorry you can’t have everything, thats life.
Honestly, I think you’re overreacting in regards to our reactions. You’re creating a problem that is not there. You’re exaggerating.
I never implied that I thought I could have everything. You inferring that so many people think that reveals your ignorance.
The fact that Sony gives so little time to one of their systems IS an issue, whether you like it or not. Despite the release of the PS4, the Vita is still an important pillar, according to Sony. So you’d think they could actually talk about it for just a few minutes, even near the end of the conference. That would have been fine.

We just wanted SOMETHING, just 2-3 new exlusive titles. Nobody expected too much from E3… in fact it is not the most important event anymore. Gamescom and Tokyo Game Show are way bigger events, and usualy those show better stuff than oh-we-are-so-elite-we-will-invite-only-ourself-and-not-gamers E3.
But instead we got to see Powers that nobody really wanted to see, we got to see Indies… that most of times are just fillers, because most of people played those on PC years ago and Ratchet and Clank MOVIE… on game conference?! It was just simply bad… SONY lost with Microsoft even if It had way better games… how is that even possible? Microsoft showed just games, games and games… and that’s what we were intrested in.
Another thing is… that SONY made massive mistake:
This september after all the wait VITA slim is coming to Europe…. but not alone… it is coming with VITA TV to both EU and NA.

In fact… Vita TV uses only Vita games… so even the most ignorant person knows that VITA should be advertised even a little. Because they are not going to sell Vita TV without VITA games… simple as this…. or do you say that Vita TV owners should just use Remote play? “hey I have PS4 right beside…. but I’m going to stream game…. just to play it on exactly same screen… which I would play anyway with PS4 (o.O)”

Most of games games don’t have physical release in EU. Not from AksysGames, not from Atlus, recently not from Square Enix and many more.
Tales of Hearts is one of the few games that will be released in EU… and guess what? I’ve already pre-ordered it… even if I will have to wait something like 250 days.
Even if we are bigger market (EU) everyone cares about (NA)… so yeah… we in EU have even more reason to fight for Type-0
Do you understand the difference between third-party support targeting a niche audience with niche games and first-party support targeting the rest with AAA first-party titles? Here’s the difference: One will move units more easily, create a larger install base and convince more developers to create games for the system. The other will entertain a niche audience.
Yes, it is fantastic that we are getting Tales of Hearts R and other niche RPGs from Japan. But nothing moves a system like its own company supporting it with quality, household names. Tales of Hearts R won’t make much of a difference in the overall install base the Vita has.
If i’m over reacting then why aren’t there over 30k signs for that petition already. Like i said you are in the minority, you are only 1 percent of the vita owner market who’s complaining. I’m the other 99 percent.

In fact gathering signatures is really hard task, many people do not want to share their personal data (even if they are doing it most of times on Facebook and Twitter)
The second reason is that… people generally do not follow game news. They see something in stores, they check title on internet and buy it… simple as that. I can assure you that maybe 5-10% of all owners of PS4 and XBONE are aware that the game is coming on their consoles.
If you would just check threads on both EU and NA blogs you would see that those became the most popular threads about single game in just few minutes (before they changed it to PS4/XBONE)… that really means that people really wanted those games.

I’ll leave it at this. The games are coming, as for this year at E3, Gamescon, and TGS. Don’t expect anything Vita related. Like i said many times, which you refuse to listen, the ps4 just came out you should’ve known not to expect anything grand vita wise during the PS4 first official debut at E3, don’t expect the same at gamescon, and tgs. I’m saving you a lot of stress relief. Right now the focus for playstation is on the NEW console they JUST RELEASED. Do you understand that? Do you comprehend? I had to explain this to millions and thousands of times.
The idea that vita should be more of a priority right now is not on Sony’s mind. Maybe later down the rode when they have a decent amount of games to match the Vita’s library. But compared to the Vita the PS4 has little games right now. The majority of people are complaining that there are no games on PS4. And that’s what they did precisely at E3, so you can forget about them announcing a whole bunch of first party, third party, ports, exc. games coming to Vita.

If you don’t comprehend this then you simply do not understand what playstation is doing right now. They can’t answer all your problems at the same moment at the same time. They have limited amount of time to stand there and talk about everything, they can only talk about so much.
Im sure your ‘problems’ will be addressed, but they won’t answer them any time soon. You do not own playstation staff as slaves, they have family, and a lives as well. Instead of being selfish, entitled, and spoiled, be greatful that the Vita is out and that it has great games on it so far. Whether they be indie, ports, exclusives, Killzone Mercenary along with Wipeout are among my favorites. Like i said before, again, im glad its backwards compatible and i can continue my Valkyria Chronicles 2 saved game on it. I’m happy with my purchase. If you are not at this point then the solution is simple, you know what to do.
If you are not patient to wait the games you want, no ones going to hold your hand, that’s your problem, and only you can fix it. Patience is a beautiful thing i’ve learned, and i know there will be great things coming for Vita, JUST like i know there will be obstacles along the way.
Im pretty sure if people were passionate about it, they wouldn’t mind signing a petition, the “people don’t want to share there personal data” is one heck of a nice excuse.

I just don’t understand how small studios like those behind Mighty No. 9, Hyper Light Drifter and MechRunner, all Kickstarter projects, were able to support a Vita version but not Square. Even Mojang is bringing Minecraft over to the Vita. Sounds like a Vita port isn’t that hard a thing to do.
I went ahead and bought a PS Vita last year with very high hopes. What does Sony do? They keep the MEMORY CARD RIDICULOUSLY HIGH EVEN THOUGH THEY WANT YOU TO DOWNLOAD MOST GAMES!!!!! I constantly have to delete games to add more. Sony WANTS THE VITA TO FAIL. Indie games are goon and all, but not when they’re the ONLY thing. Then they take a PSP game and tease us then do this.
I can see how much they care with their ZERO REPLY to any user comments in this thread and ZERO REPLIES when asked why the MEMORY CARD PRICES are so ILLOGICALLY EXORBITANT.

I think both EU and N/A PS3s are region free. There are games “like Move Fitness” that was only released in EU others are just released in N/A.
Beyond Online and Amazon, a lot of the JRPGs are rare to find in actual stores in N/A.

Two things.
I am helping you guys with your Vita petitions, however…
Number one. Just because nobody replies to the PS4 threads doesn’t mean nobody cares, it means nobody is upset. The sales for the PS4 and it’s respective games that have been reported speak for themselves. PS4 not needing advertising is a tad complacent, considering Xbox still could catch up.
Two. It’s not like the PS4 got many exclusives announced either. The primary ones were Bloodborne and LBP. Let it die is F2P. If you look at it that way, there weren’t a lot of exclusives announced in general. I think a lot of things for PS4 are getting delayed.
Yes, the Vita needed more screentime, but saying the PS4 is fine because it’s winning isn’t good business. If I were Sony, with M$ releasing all thos exclusives this E3, if it were me, I’d be rushing to BURY that console.
…Meanwhile, the 3DS is impossible to bury.
The conference should have been focusing on PS4 and Vita, that’s about it.

Only in NA XBOX one still is trying hard to compete… but in JP it is nonexistent, and in EU…. it is laughable.

It’s because of big companies obsession with wanting all the money and refusing to support products that just do well. They’d rather shoot for something that has a 1% of dethroning call of duty and might cost them millions then something that would easily make it’s money back and a little extra.
This is the reason so many genres were underrepresented on ps3/360 last gen and why indies have been able to force themselves into relevance. Also why the newest installments of older series (FF, RE, MGS) aren’t anything like the original and have a significant decline in quality.
Square got the message a little bit when FFX/X2 re-release outsold the new FF but they apparently didn’t get the whole message.
SONY please publish this game for the Vita.

And yes in fact THEY STOPED SUPPORTING IT, there was NOTHING about VITA on E3 (I don’t care about indies). In EU the bigger market than NA they do not release physical games! You can count them on fingers of one hand! You in NA get all nice stuff… BUT WE DON’T. So for f*** sake yes it is very important to us in EU that game which was supposed to be on VITA will come to VITA with physical release (it they want to make remake – physical is must have, if they will upload PSP version than digital is only rational). I said im part of the 99 percent of vita owners who aren’t complaining. You guys are only 1,200 (aka 1 percent) who signed a petition, that went from around a goal of 200k needed to 3k needed. There around 8 million vita units sold world wide, and only 1,200 of you are complaining. Heck that’s not even one percent that’s less then one percent. You guys are in the minority, even more proof with the goal of signs needed chaning.
Yo Lestatdelioncort, not sure if you know, but it wasn’t 8 million people asking for FF Type-0 but a few thousands at max, yet Sony/SE said “we heard you”. So you don’t need to worry about that. And if I remember correctly, Ghostlight decided to release Devil Survivor 2 in EU if they reach certain amount of pre-orders, I think 3,7k? And they did, 3,7k is not much also, considering this was a 3DS game and it has sold over 43 million.
