  • What about ps home are or are you not bring it to ps4 ???

  • @ Seluhir,

I understand your point. Of course, Sony’s focus should be the PS4, that’s logical. It’s their newest console, and it’s a way bigger market than the Vita. But still, there’s a difference between not having the focus of the event, and to be relegated to footnote-level. Look, even on this blog, in the E3 article about Ratchet & Clank, you’d have to read through the end to actually know that the HD collection would get released on the Vita. A mere little mention. And it’s one of their major IP. It’s like they just don’t want to talk about it too much. I know it’s not that. But it looks like that to many Vita fans out there.

Usually, when a company has some upcoming big guns for one of its console, they’ll do whatever to create some sort of buzz among the fans. If you don’t show anything, usually, it means you don’t have anything to show. And THAT, I’m pretty sure, is what bugs Vita fans. Just a mention of one or two big titles would’ve been enough. Just a little something to give everyone some faith that Sony doesn’t want the Vita to fail and that they’re still invested in it.

Take example on Nintendo. They’re doing one hell of a job to support the Wii U, even with its poor sales.

  • @ TheOathsworn,

I don’t think people really think the Vita has “no games”. Like you said, it has plenty of games. Problem is, I think, that while indies and ports of mobile games and PS1 and PSP games are nice (really), you don’t build a platform “almost” exclusively on these. The Vita is in desperate need of more games like Soul Sacrifice, Killzone Mercenary, Tearaway, and ports of AAA games too like Borderlands 2, Need for Speed Most Wanted, Sonic & All Star Racing Transformed, and even high-quality ports of PS2 classics are more than welcome for those of us who didn’t play them the first time around.

I’m not saying there’s nothing worth playing among indies and old PSP titles. But most indies, if you haven’t played them already on your tablet, smartphone, PC or console, don’t justifies the investment alone.

The only games so far that prevent me from selling both my Vitas (original and slim) are the upcoming Ratchet & Clank collection and Borderlands 2 that has a lot of replay value (even with its bugs and issues).

  • EA Sports UFC still on the fence about this one. Some of the fighters look very bad, but I still play and enjoy EA Sports MMA. So here goes nothing.

  • LOL nice job guys…in the interview with the dev of Farcry 4…..ask him the release date then cut off the video…..what a disrespect.I know the date..but you guys should be careful with these things…just saying.

Anyway interview with Scott Rhode is really cool….hope he doesn’t get off of Sony. He’s one of the few cool people in the business, now that Jack Tretton is out.
