Guacamelee on PS4 features an ample supply of new content, including additional stages, enemies, abilities, and chicken egg bombs. The developers at DrinkBox have also added a new boss to the mix — El Trio, a three-headed skeleton in charge of assembling Carlos Calaca’s undead army.
But that’s not all, luchadors. Sniper Elite 3 also hits PlayStation this week on PS4 and PS3. It’s 1942 North Africa. Germany is building a weapon to crush the Allied forces. As a skilled soldier, observe terrain, plan out attacks, and execute the perfect shot in massive, dynamic environments rife with long-range opportunity.

Linearity is not a problem per se. But what does take you? QTEs are the same thing. And one should be praised if they try at least. On the other hand, a game that is to original might be a critical success, but sucks at sales. It is a tough job man, give them some credit.
Don’t know your job, but it would be hard to get some random emails or guys at the street just coming to you and saying ‘well, your work is bad. plain bad. why do you even get up from bed?’
My opinion (humble one at that) is that you even support by buying and /or make real critics in the sense of allowing better development.

July is getting Towerfall Ascension (PS4), Strider (PS4), Dead Space 3 (PS3), Vessel (PS3), Muramasa Rebirth (PSV), and Doki-Doki Universe (Cross-Buy). The July update was posted here the 25th.
True, but Plus is more than the IGC. We know all six games are coming out tomorrow, but it still seems like a post is in order to let people know what’s on sale. I imagine that’ll all be on the Week 2 Summer Blast Sale post, whenever that comes.

Ummm… you mean besides one of the Squarenix best selling games in recent years being a turned based RPG named Bravely Default which made such immense sales that squarenix has actually admitted how arse backwards they have been and seen how turn based RPG’s can still make a sizable fortune and now they are going back and completely rethinking their entire development process?

Will there be more classics released in the near future? It’s time for Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue. I know the process of formatting these games for purchase and download on PSN takes time but I feel like fans will really purchase this, myself included ;)

Ubisoft is the Publisher and THEY decide if the game is cross-buy, which is a privilege, not a right. I love it when it happens, but if not, I don’t get mad. Cross-Play/Cross-Buy/Cross-Save are all wonderful incentives. And, games on different platforms are often release apart. Especially when it comes to Console to Handheld. Or, another thing, on the subject of release for format/system: demographics. Gundam is popular in Japan, which, still loves PS3 and hasn’t had the PS4 as long. Release as a digital only game makes sense as well as it has to be part of the competitive market. It costs money to get a game to a shelf, and it has to stand out, not only to Gundam/Dynasty Warriors fans, but to someone who just happened to wander in. It’s much cheaper to publish on PSN/Xbox Live/eShop/Steam as they don’t even require submissions to a ratings board in some cases (Monster Monopiece for example). We should be happy we get what we do from Japan. Well, that’s my rant. I can’t wait to see more stuff from Sony. As they say, Greatness Awaits.

Kicking myself in the butt for already owing Guacamelee. Would have loved it on PS4 but not buying it again. Games like this and Tomb Raider I wouldn’t mind paying a modest upgrade fee since I already own them, but can’t justify buying them outright again.

I’m a HUGE supporter of Sony and PSP/PSN but you guys are slipping, you’re giving free games that I already bought and releasing games that have been released on Wii U and mobile a while ago. Basically Elite Sniper 3 is the only good game this week and pretty much the month (excluding LoU remastered). So PLEASE step your game up and prove why your the best in gaming right now.
