yeah I was planning on purchasing a vita to play MGS 3, and also instead of buying a second controller, I could use that. (atleast until those new ones come out)
it does suck I seemed to have missed out on an entire library of PS4 and vita games tho.
also I do know sony is better. thats why I chose the right system =]
I just hope come the release of NHL 15, I chose the right system for online gaming, as Now with the ps4 I am paying to be online, the 360 was a nightmare, disconnects, lag etc. same deal with the ps3. An EA rep told me they would have 50/50 servers for next gen. and have them upgraded, and more of them. etc etc. tho in my experience on the 360/ps3, 360 had a leg up, but that was because you were forced to pay for it.

  • Oh I did also get a deal on fifa for 30$, but that was at a local store,
and once i beat the watch dogs that was bundled with my ps4 (2nd playthrough, 1st on PC) I traded that for MGS V and COD, and then traded COD for madden,
and just picked up UFC a couple days ago. but still. some sales on games would be nice, M$ has a decent one going on for today, and those steam sales generated ALOT of hype. just so underwhelming seeing 10% off a game that the sequel is being pushed out in four months and the price will be cut in half if not more. because its the “”old”” one
I was thinking about theif but I decided to pass for now, hopefully something will come up decent tomorrow! I dont think anyone is going to hold their breath tho..
also out of the 5 free PS plus games I have, I only played them a handful of times. would trade all 5 of them for something like thief or a disc release.
man I wish sony would figure out how to bring the ps3 marketplace to the ps4!

  • Beyond!!
Great week… some coll stuff to hold me over until the October tidal wave.
Is there a release date for The Swapper yet? Also, can you please work on adding prices regular and ps+ if there is) to these updates?

    Keep up the awesome job

  • What kills me is if you peek at the EU psn blog theyre responding to the posts, at the very least they will give vague answers to their sony community but here in “MURRICA” its just cool to ignore the people that support your corporation. I mean come on we all know they monitor these blogs constantly. Still yet we ask questions they warrant no response. Where the hell is ratchett and clank for the vita SONY where is it? if its delayed, buggy, pushed back, cool tell us but dont act the quiet fool.

  • I noticed yesterday in the PS Store that Doki Doki Universe is free for PS+ Members in the sale section. Thanks SONY :)

I had heard that we were going to receive the last episode of the Wolf Among Us this week, but no new episode in store.
    Any news on this?

  • Come on, Sony. You’re slipping.

  • At what time exactly are we getting this store update? The waiting is killing me. Can’t wait for One Piece!

  • @c-doncaster – Remote play is awesome too u can play your PS4 via your VITA from anywhere with wifi i played Killzone Shadowfall with virtually no lag from 1000miles away while on vacation. As an mma fan i actually am enjoying UFC (PS4) and the huge number of fighters (Cung Li) but they should’ve included a prime version of some of the older more legendary fighters.. Rich Franklin, Forrest Griffin, The Axe murderer, Shogun are all terrible in the game – when Nate diaz is rated better than “the legendary” Rich Franklin & Clay Guida is rated nearly better than Pride legend Wanderlai Silva.. we have problem. Also, jon jones is NOT a better striker than Bruce Lee… he isn’t even as good a striker as Lyoto Machida. Why didn’t they include more all-time greats like Ken Shamrock, Tito Ortiz, Fedor, Randy Couture or at least popular champions from the past like Brock Lesnar, Rampage, Jens Pulver, Stephen Bonnar, Tim Silvia, Jake Shields, Don Fry even Bob Sapp would’ve been cool.

  • so there no sales this week? :(

  • You guys really don’t know how to read do you? When they told us what the free games for this month were going to be, they also mentioned that the Sales post won’t be posted until Tuesdays now instead of Monday because they’re giving us all of the games at the beginning of the month instead of one a week.

  • still no responses on ratchet and clank trilogy? nice sony real nice. i love how an American based game from an american dev gets released in all these other countries on july 4th! of all days but we in America get the silent treatment on our release. epic fail

  • @111

I second that. SCEA has totally dropped the ball on everything vita related recently. They’ve basically written off the system, and when their consumers show interest in The Ratchet and Clank collection for the Vita that they barely confirmed at E3, we are given the silent treatment. Europe gets it released physically and digitally, while SCEA won’t even confirm or deny that it’s still coming to North America when asked multiple times across several websites and social media. Not even a “We’ll have more info out on that soon” response. Thanks sony.

  • SAO:HF comes out in august
on August 19th in the US

  • why do vita users have to wait one week for the one piece game? pretty stupid in all fairness.
also how about some good healthy PS+ discounts on games? From ps1 to ps2 and ps3.
And last but not least what is up with crash bandicoot and spyro? I mean for crying out loud we got them for 1 day and then they disappeared again. Ive owned them all for a long tme and played them again on psp, but i want to be able to do so again on my vita. The remote play for my ps3 sucks usually and lags a tad, so until i can download to my ps4 and then play remotely like that as there usually isnt much lag…. then i cant play them at all? it really sucks having 40 or so ps1 classics that i spent maybe 250 bucks on over the years and yet i cant play on my vita. That really bugs me.

At any rate we have them all like maybe 200 total on ps3 and psp, but not on vita? Shouldnt the vita have absolutely everything the PSP PSN store has? with the bonus of psm and ps vita games and apps? I mean get real sony, i love ya but dont screw us with these minor things.

  • @ 111 and 112,

Don’t complain too much about the “silence” of SCEA regarding the Ratchet and Clank collection on Vita. Because not only we’re getting a big pile of silence from SCEA about it, some of our posts seems to be getting deleted when we’re asking about it.

So instead of answering a simple “We’re not sure about it, we’ll check it out and will let you know”, they prefer to shut down legitimate comments of customers asking what’s happenning. Isn’t that great?

It makes me think that we’re probably never going to get it, and SCEA just want us to forget about it, and make it looks like the european and australian release of the title never happenned.
