  • Oh and I should also mention, it should have been a retail copy of The Last of Us. 50gb is going to destroy most Canadians Data cap. You really need to take that into consideration when planning your next bundle.

  • I’m not interested in the bundle anyways, but I agree that the copy of the game should have been physical.

  • Stop calling this over hyped game a masterpiece for goodness sake. The game was ok yeah, but I was not blown away by it.

    The following games are Masterpieces

    1. Red Dead Remption

    2. Mario 64

    3. Resident Evil 4

    4. Shadow Of The Colossus

No sense getting upset over people’s opinions.
I know the word “Masterpiece” is definitely not something that can be defined.

WHATS THIS? A GIFT FOR CANADIANS?
I already have TLOU pre-ordered, but how about dropping the PS4 back to it’s original price.
Just doesn’t seem fair to the Canadians who didn’t pick up a PS4 before Christmas.

I’m not getting upset with people’s opinions. It’s mostly the media that are over hyping the game. I would rate the game 7/10 at best. But I know where your coming from about the word defined.

  • A 400$ price I think would’ve been fair for the bundle. It’s also a pain that it’s a download, as 50gb will already be off your PS4.

  • Too bad we’re not getting the TLOU or the Destiny limited edition consoles in these bundles… I would buy a second ps4 for that.

  • gabriel-lisboa83

E para o Brasil vai mandar algo parecido??? Queremos preço também!!!! Valeu!!!!!

  • Ah come on! The reason for me why I still don’t have a PS4 is a good bundle and no I have no interest on playing Destiny. I keep hearing bundles but why not in the U.S., is it that hard to offer a PS4, with a retail game for $400? Come on, Sony you can do better than that. Offer some bundles in the U.S., please.

  • Sony needs to drop the price back to $399 in Canada. I bought one at launch so I got the right price but it’s bs for newcomers. Same goes for the $69.99 games. I make good money but I refuse to pay that price out of principle. If it wasn’t for E3 pre-order sales I would likely wait for price drops on most games, which I’m sure many more Canadians are doing now. Raising prices on consoles and games is bad for business no matter how you look at it. The dollar conversion excuse is lame and inexcusable. Whoever called that shot should be sent home and asked not to return. Do right by your Canadian customers Sony or you are going to start losing them. PS4 had a great launch but the race is far from over, getting cocky and price gauging is not going to keep you out in front for long.

  • @Strangeheaven thanks for the laugh. I love how you called TLOU overrated then proceed to name Red Dead as your idea of a masterpiece. Rockstar is the most overrated studio in all of gaming. Casual gamers are just too funny.

  • *sigh* I love the fact that you guys are now no longer ripping off Canadian buyers of the PS4. But as someone who bought the system a week after the price hike due to fear of another one, I feel kinda cheated. This just seems to be a coverup in Canada to compensate for the 50 dollar difference everywhere else. I know we are .93c to the US dollar, but considering neither Microsoft did this with the Xbox One (a system I have zero intention in buying mind you) nor Nintendo with any of the Wii U Bundles, I think that this is kinda cheating your consumers in the great White North a little bit. If it isn’t too much to ask is there any way you can compensate these people? I know that it is a bit of a long shot because the market is always changing, but please if there is anyway that these buyers who have been basically cheated only a mere 4 months after the price hike it would be awesome. This would also help your image because a lot of potential buyers and eventual buyers called bullsquirt on the price hike of the PS4 here.

  • @56
You say you’re not pissed at peoples opinions. But you just admitted it after, the media isn’t paid to say the Last of Us is amazing, the opinion of the masses is that it’s a Masterpiece. Your opinion is it isn’t. If you don’t like that, ohh well. Like Justin Timberlake said, “Cry me a river”. You say you’d rate it 7/10, good for you, but no one is interested in your 7/10 so… yeah

  • Will this include the 80 pieces of DLC up on PSN for Last Of Us Remastered that weren’t put on the disc?

  • As long as Sony is deliberately gouging Canadian consumers, Satan will ice skate to work before they get a cent from me.

Sony is acting like it’s the 1950s and Canadians have to sit at the back of the bus and drink from separate fountains.

  • And really?

A digital copy for a bundle?

Christ, could you be any cheaper and more disrespectful if you tried?

This bundle is just a giant middle finger to Canadians.

    Pathetic.

  • It’s unfortunate that you guys don’t think that it’s a good deal. While it’d be better to own a physical copy, A digital copy is a cost effective delivery system. I managed to get my PS4 at the $399 price point because I figured they were going to increase the price back in January — $399 was cheap. Cheaper than the US in fact — it should’ve been at least $419 at launch since our dollar was stronger back then. What pisses me off are the increase in game prices, *especially* digital game prices. I would love to buy games at launch like I used to but at $69.99?! To me it’s not worth it.

I hope things go back to the way they were.

  • Why not a retail copy? I got a Wii U with airmiles, and it came with a retail copy of NSMBU/NSMLU bundle. (And DKC Tropical Freeze, but that was probably just an addition they added for the deal).

    Still.

  • Sony needs to drop the price back to $399 in Canada. I bought one at launch so I got the right price but it’s b-s for newcomers. PS4 had a great launch but the race is far from over, price gauging your customers is not going to keep you out in front for long.

  • I’m not buying a PS4 until they drop the price back to $400. Raising the price on the console was a slap in the face, considering it wasn’t available in stores. Gutty move.

  • These bundles are nice..but for games so big like this, I really do not and can not understand how/why SONY refuses to make special edition PS4’s with the game art on the console itself, and making these bundles available to all.

By the way, I LOVE the last of us (2nd fav. game of alllll time after the MGS series), but it is is a slap in the face to all your real fans to not give people who bought the ps3 last of us even a tiny discount on the new one. It’s not about the money, it’s about the principle.

  • @67

It’s *not* cost effective when you consider the bandwidth caps that both Rogers and Bell have in place.

  • Leak PS+ August: PS4 Octodad, The Swapper, PS3 Saints Row 4, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, PSV 1001 Spikes, Atelier Rorona Plus

  • Dammit! I want this bundle, but live in damn russia. There’s nothing here. You know PS4 costs here 660$!

  • Would’ve been better if it was a custom PS4, but since the Canadian dollar has picked up are we going back to $59.99 for games and $400 for PS4s? I doubt it since it benefits you to charge more but its the right thing to do.

  • Don’t care. Anyone in Canada can buy a PlayStation 4 and a copy of the Last of Us.

    Give us a real headline.

Something like “Black Rock Shooter is finally available in Canada!” and not just the USA only.

    https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-us/games/black-rock-shooter-the-game/cid=UP1063-NPUH10126_00-BRSDL00000001111

  • Digital copy? No thanks.

  • Where is PSPLUS August lineup???

  • Please release a physical copy for ORESHIKA: TAINTED BLOODLINES!

And also make a Special Physical Edition for Soul Sacrifice Delta and release it for the holidays!

I can’t and won’t so please, don’t try to convince me to pick them digitally!

  • Funny how this disappeared off the front page so quickly.

Could it be you don’t want people to see how pissed off Canadians are with their treatment by Sony?

  • Oh…it’s a downloadable copy. Wow. Didn’t realize that. That’ll suck up 50 gigs right from the hop. Makes the offer a little less tempting.

  • @62 Rockstar games studio overated, yeah right lol.
