Greetings, nephalem! John Hight here to bring you an update as my team and I prepare to unleash a whole lot of evil on consoles everywhere. I’m pleased to say that on August 19, just two short weeks from now, you’ll be able to lay waste to Malthael and bring peace to the streets of Westmarch from the comfort of your La-Z-Boy with the release of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition.
The Ultimate Evil Edition is filled with all the features, fast-paced action, and legendary loot included in the Reaper of Souls expansion set, as well as all of the content of the original Diablo III. With a new chapter to play through and the new Crusader class to master, plus the freedom to explore endlessly with Adventure Mode, your path to new heights of power will be literally in your DualShock-wielding hands.
I want to remind everyone to get your preorders in if you haven’t already. Doing so will land you a devilishly sweet pair of Infernal Pauldrons, which provide some powerful bonuses for your characters, and they look pretty cool too—a plus considering you can also use them for transmogs (a new feature available in UEE). For those who pre-purchase the game digitally on the PlayStation Store, you’ll also pick up a set of helm and weapon transmog recipes, a Spectral Hound minion, and three additional character slots.
The Ultimate Evil Edition also includes some console-exclusive features—like Apprentice Mode, which boosts lower level players when they’re playing with higher level players; the Nemesis system, which sends monsters that have slain your character on to wreak havoc in your friends’ games; and more—all of which make playing with your friends even more challenging and rewarding. We’ve also teamed up with Sony to bring PS3 and PS4 players some exclusive content: a Nephalem Rift inspired by The Last of Us, and a larger-than-life transmog armor set based on Shadow of the Colossus. For players who’ve been holding off on bringing justice to Diablo on console, now is the perfect time to join the fray, as the Ultimate Evil Edition is a maxed-out version of the game, with Diablo III and all of the latest updates for that, plus all of the new content that we launched with the Reaper of Souls expansion. And if you’ve already played Diablo III on console, I have good news for you as well: you’ll be able to transfer your characters over into this new release and continue your adventures—even across console generations.
One more cool piece of news for PS4 players: the next-gen console architecture makes it much easier for us to offer ongoing patch support for the PS4 version of the Ultimate Evil Edition. This means that as we continue to patch the game on PC, we’ll now be able to roll out related patch content, as appropriate, on PS4 as well. It’ll take some additional time beyond the PC patch rollout, but we’ll get them to you as quickly as possible.

Whats up guys im looking for people to play Diablo 3 with and that may want to do some Youtube videos with me if you want to play with me add me but here is my question does any one know when the game will download with the hole preloading thing from what videos i found and info i found out it should be able to be downloaded now seeing as we are less then 4 days away? thanks

I preordered the game off of the Playstation Store for PS4 and have already preloaded the game. I know that for preordering, we are supposed to get
Infernal Pauldrons, Spectral Minion, Two unique transmogrification tomes, and three additional character slots.
When I downloaded the game however, it only told me I had one addon available, the Infernal Pauldrons. Are these other preorder bonuses included in that download or are they missing?
I just pre-ordered Diablo in the playstation store. It has a little over an hour left before the download is complete.
However, the timer below the app shows just under 6 hours. I’m CST, so that will make it 2 a.m. when I am able to play the game. Isn’t it supposed to be midnight? What’s the deal?
I’d just like to point out that on the PlayStation channel on YouTube there is two videos about Diablo stating at the end you can pre download o 8/17 (did that) and play on 8/19 12am est. It’s 12:41am est and I can’t play for another 2hours 20min. Thanks for the faulty advertising. I stayed up for nothing. I’m pretty p***ed off. Here is a link to one of the videos.

Does anyone know how to change language?
I am living in Mexico due to work, and got my digital pre-order.
The game is completely in spanish. I had the same problem with the PC version and just recently blizzard allowed for language change in the options menu, but I can´t find it on the PS4 version.
Help please!
So i preordered maybe 11 hours ahead, got all dl’d addon for pauldrons as well, then in game i was only able to get the 1 transmorph thingy, 1 ring from blizzard, no pet, and no pauldrons even tho i have the addon dl’ed and loaded….any one else not able to get the pauldrons or pet?
Man I’ve got the worst buyer’s remorse already and I’ve only just finished the download. The file sizes are all wrong and I have two copies of the stupid thing, one’s 20GB and one’s 42GB, neither of which appear to have been that size when they were downloading. And one’s in Polish! The PS4’s XMB is so cluttered that I don’t even like turning it on anymore, but with multiple copies of the game it’s just a nightmare. Remind me to just buy the much cheaper thing off Amazon next time.
Same issue got the ring and the transmorph but havent got the pauldrons or the pet and i bought the digital copy anybody know how to get these items i am missing.
Can we expect Diablo demo version on PS4 like it was on PS3 )))?
Pretty pathetic of a company to make you buy the game all over again instead of just buying an expansion pack. Seems you care more about money that pleasing your customers. Especially when we spent $60.00 on the original and will get .10 cents on a trade in.
