Well, we’re here to answer those questions today!
To begin, we are incredibly thrilled to officially announce that Freedom Wars will launch in North America on Tuesday, October 28th, 2014 for $29.99.
For those looking for a head start in reducing your sentence within the world of Freedom Wars, our participating retailers are offering the same pre-order DLC as the original Japan release. These items include:
- Limited Edition Costume – Personalize your Freedom Wars character with Formal Wear
- Powerful Starter Weapons – Upgraded melee and long range attack weapon.
- Limited Edition Sticker Set – For in-game use
- Combat Pack Item – Medical Supply Set
Lastly, for those that want the same pre-order items for the digital version, simply purchase Freedom Wars between Tuesday, October 28th to Tuesday, November 11th. After that, the pre-order items will no longer be available.

I played the Japanese Demo and absolutely loved it! (I think I got penalized though by my AI and don’t know what I did wrong). Anyway, I’m beyond excited we’re getting Freedom Wars a lot sooner than I had expected and I’ll be pre ordering it as soon as possible!
I have a question. Should I buy this game when it comes out? I’m kind of worried there’ll be another re-release of it with more contents, like Toukiden Extreme, Soul Sacrifice Delta, and Ragnarok Odyssey Ace. Every game I’ve bought for the Vita (only three) so far has had another version come out with more content, for the full price of the original — maybe even more. So I’m skeptical about Freedom Wars. I’m honestly not sure if I should wait a year or so to see if another version will come out, or get to playing with all the new players on release date.
Any suggestions?
