There’s a little bit of déjà vu going on as our PlayStation Plus members will once again receive two games free the day they hit the PlayStation Store – Velocity 2X on PS4 and Joe Danger’s release on PS Vita. Of course, there are other great titles including Sportsfriends on PS4, PS All Stars Battle Royale and Hoard on PS3 and TxK on PS Vita.
On PS4, Plus members will be able to download Velocity 2X and Sportsfriends. Velocity 2X is the sequel to Velocity Ultra and features arcade shooting and puzzle platforming with a cool teleportation mechanic. Sportsfriends is the perfect title to complement your parties, as it features 4 mini-games – BaraBariBall, Hokra, Super Pole Riders and Johann Sebastian Joust– to bring out the competitive side in everyone.
For PlayStation 3 owners, you can nab PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale, the game where you can get together with friends and pit PlayStation characters like Sly Cooper and Kratos against each other. And Hoard, an action-strategy title where you’ll play as a dragon attempting to get as much gold as possible.
PlayStation Vita owners can pick up Joe Danger for the first time on the platform and enjoy some good old fashioned stunt racing, as well as TxK, a remake of the classic arcade shooter Tempest.

Slipship says it all m8 i play my ps3 more than ps4 and ive spent over a grand on my ps4 and games then the season passes u have 2 buy to get the other half of the game all it is is money money money with sony at the min and they showin nothing in return games wise
The only reason i have ps+ is 4 the online witch sony new they would get more buyin it doing it this way think its a rob haveing to pay 4 ur online when u spend 350 quid on a commy im on the sick ive had to borrow 2 get what i have on ps4 not all people can afford payin these prices witch leaves u with half a commy with no online dont u think we pay enougth havin to pay virgin media /sky bills ect to get the online now u have 2 pay sony aswell what a rob

yep, time I think to stop PAYING for this crap and dig out my mega drive. Why are they consistently giving out these ridiculous games for PS4 when I PAYED 300+ pound for the console and continue to PAY over a tenner every three months when I have a mega drive that plays the same quality games sitting in my drawer!! this is absolutely ludicrous raaawr
I understand that people that have a ps4 are upset about not getting AAA games. But remember that the ps4 has been out less than a year. Its OK to wish or hope to get AAA games but don’t expect any for a while….I knew that was going to be an issue with the ps4 and is the reason Im sticking to the ps3 and ps3 games until the ps4 hits the “slim” revision. The first 2 years of any console are always the slowest.

I wasn’t that impressed with Allstars on PS Vita. I’m still annoyed that Kat is DLC character, too. Glad to hear it has a community, but I don’t buy DLC for plus games and that I’m not interested in full purchase. Smash brothers killer it isn’t. Might check out Hoard\Velocity, some time down the line.
People are paying for plus (and various hardware, electricity, ISP, etc.), which means, these games are indeed paid for. Even if they weren’t, ‘free-to-play’ and “free” apps deserve their share of constructive criticism and disappointment so they can improve, too.
I’d almost appreciate the multiplayer emphasis, but not enough co-op and can’t justify extra dualshock 4s at this time, least of all for this bottom of the barrel stuff. DLC heavy offerings always make the plus games look shady as the other “free” money grubbers.
I’m a sucker for RPGs, adventure, strategy, rhythm overlooked gems, simulations, oddities and kawaii.
Don’t care about FPS and to be honest, even my favorite fighters don’t get much play.
i really dislike the argument of how PS4 is just very new so we shouldnt expect any decent free games from it…
The thing is, if the console is so new and they couldnt offer any free PS4 games like they advertised, then maybe they shouldnt be charging the users for a PS Plus subscription; at least not until they can start offering a steady flow of free PS4 games.

some of us have only had our ps4’s for a couple of months & its been a sad experience so far. bring back some of the games thast you have already given away for free that were actually good. or something that isnt a platformer at least. i dont know which crowd you are aiming to please with these games but it doesnt seem to be your core fans
I love ps plus , i like the indies , velocity ultra great ! One problem SPORTS FRIENDS YOU CANNOT PLAY AT ALL WITHOUT 2 CONTROLERS WTH , NO TROPHYS , NOTHING! NOT HAPPY
I try each game because well its free, but these are bad horrible. I don’t have a PS4 to play cell phones games. IF PSN+ was optional for PS4, I would not have it. Velocity is not a good game, I don’t care how “indie” it is.

Look…..Indie games are great if that’s what your into, but come on. Someone said may as well be a PS1 game….I would rather a PS1 game than some of this Indie garbage. I can download 8bit games all day long on my phone for free. People wanna say why are you complaining about a free game. ITS NOT FREE….we pay for plus…..there are a variety of gamers out there and not all of us love indie games…..its time to make a deal SONY.
Seriously, This is a terrible line up. Can there be one none indie game for either the ps3 or ps4? Or maybe even another free to play thats better than warframe come out soon. Really woundering why I pay for a membership that has offered nothing lately.

i cant believe where u throw your money for these games the only useful thing with the ps plus is the multiplayer especially for ps4 nothing else since sony is a bunch of weirdos but i still respect sony cause theyre trying hard but iwill also hate their free gifts even if its outlast im not very satisfited with ps4 releases btw but it doesnt matter atleast theyre good for trophy farm but still jesus.. these games we are playing ps4 not gameboy color open your eyes xD atleast release something free and good like warframe or the last of us anyway big thanks to naughty dog for the bundle ps4 + last of us and big hate to this white ps4 + destiny cause they took too long to release tht ****ing color but anyway its too late now.. wake up dark force! xD
All I can say is thank God I have a backlog of games I can dive into the month. This is by far the worst month for plus ever. I downloaded Hord it was the only game I was remotely interested in. Played for the into lvl and then deleted the game. Steaming pile of crap that would run on a flip phone. Been a plus member for years and it has never been this bad. I dont have a ps 4 and since the overhaul during e3 plus has dropped the ball in a major way. I used to tell everyone I met about the service but I just cant get behind it any longer. I used to be one of playstation plus’s biggest supporters but they have let me down for months now. September may be the last straw. I am going to play my back log then will probably cancel my plus. R.I.P. plus it was nice to know you when you cared about you customers.
man this month is really bad, i’ve been ps+ member for over 2 years and this is far the worst month ever
nothing good here except for the PS all Stars game, and i only have a PS 4. Starting to feel like my plus membership is a waste. can only play battlefield 4 and CoD Ghosts so many times.

Ok its officially time to cancel my PS Plus, i hate how they act like these low budget indie games that can be played on my iphone is giving us something special. I want a real game, ok i understand some people like this crap so why not give one indie game one real game each month, and what happened to when they used to give like 4 or 5 games a month for free and maybe 2 was playable, now they only give two and they both suck. What is going on over there? Why does the euro ps plus always have better free games on a consistent basis? PS4 been out long enough now to give us something for free, even knack would be better then the crap they act like they are hooking us up with. Even maybe a free 7 day rental on PS now so we can play something we like, another disapointing month from PS +. I do not know who picks out the games but they need a new carreer. Thats all I have to say about that.
I REALLY wish they would bring All Stars Battle Royale to the PS4. That was the most played game I had on the PS3 last year before I sold it. Just picked up a PS4 now and I really miss that game. It’s a very rare breed of game.

this is rather disappointing. the line up just sucks. ive had ps+ before on a seperate account and a lot of the freebies before was awesome. this is like trying to swim in mud with sand weights

Playstation Plus is garbage. Indie games that belong on a N64 and not much of a line up for non Playstation Plus games. Great job in placing third par indie games as your main lineup for customers. I would really like to take my PS4 back. Right now it is a paper weight.
