It’s almost time to ring in another New Year, so let’s take a peek at what Plus members can play to kick off 2015.
PlayStation 4 owners can leave their pink neon mark on the city of Seattle in inFAMOUS: First Light, a standalone expansion to inFamous: Second Son that outlines the backstory of the troubled conduit, Fetch. Additionally, there’s The Swapper, where you’ll use a cloning gun to solve puzzles in hopes of getting yourself off a creepy space station. On PS3, you can unleash a lot of chaos in an open-world via Prototype 2 or take a trip down memory lane with the revamped classic platformer DuckTales Remastered. Finally, Vita owners can nab Duke Nukem 3D Megaton Edition so they can enjoy some first-person shooting on the go, as well as test their arcade game skills with the single-screen platformer Whoa Dave!

pretty good month always wanted to play swapperbut not huge on pc gaming, and infamous first light will do since injustice won’t do from last month.
i loved prototype 2. though it wasn’t as satisfying to me as the first one. mainly because the first one was so difficult that when i beat it i was like **** yeah! when i beat 2 i was like oh okay. but i still enjoyed both don’t get me wrong.
update the playstation store.

Ducktales Remastered: Hated the game on the NES, doubt I’m going to like it here. At all. -1

Duke Nukem: Yes. Yep. Yeah. Gonna play this game to 100%. Never did beat it as a kid, so here’s my chance. +1

All told, this month is positive, but these numbers here don’t do justice to how excited I am for the 6th. Can’t wait.

I checked the ps store to see if infamous first light is free and its not free, shows $14.99 whens it gonna be free for January 2015?
First Light is not a game…it is stand alone dlc…..where is my 2nd ps4 tittle??…where is Driveclub??….what are you guys doing about ps+ going down for 3 days? I can’t be the only one dissapointed???

Sometimes the ps plus games update from the night before but my store hasnt updated yet, maybe its because its right after the ddos thing that recently happened.

To everyone who is saying that the games are not available yet: they are added at the first tuesday every month. So expect the games to be free at january 6th.
That said, I loved the line up, despite that there are some better games that could be offered to Vita. In any case, I will be playing all of them! Thanks again, guys.

Its very similar to Xbox lives “Games with Gold”

Your second game is First Light. Just like inFamous 2 festival of blood, stand alone DLC that can be launched and played without owning the main game of the series is a game.

Hrm… Duke Nukem seems decent since I’ve got the Doom Classic Collection. However we couldn’t get some older titles trown in form the PS2 or PS1 libraries like before?

i do wish that doom bfg edition came to vita, im sad it didnt, as then we would have had all old doom games as well..
i also want the quake games and perhaps some other older ones… the fact i could play them on the go really …mhmm…arouses me XD
yea we can do it on some select smartphones or maybe even a modded psp, but official port to ps vita? much more alluring
oh i almost forgot… im happy first light is here too as well as the swapper.. i wouldnt mind trying swapper and first light makes me glad i didnt buy it at first, i do wish it was a full game spinoff release for the vita, but hey ill have fun with it on ps4 just like second son

Because the new games aren’t out yet. They come out the first Tuesday of the month, which is the 6th in this month’s case. It’s been this way for months.

the playstation plus line-ups were questionable started mid 2014 to me but 3 out of 6 got my interest (infamous, ducktales,prototype 2 and duke nukem for kicks) so for me this is a good start to the new year for the playstation plus collection
