For many that have completed The Evil Within, the mysteries surrounding Sebastian’s partner, Juli Kidman, are among the most discussed plotlines in the game. These questions (and perhaps some new ones…) will arise in Part 1 of Kidman’s DLC adventure: The Assignment.

The Evil Within’s First DLC, The Assignment, Launches March 10th

Assuming the role of Kidman, The Assignment features an increased focus on stealth gameplay mechanics as you not only untangle the secrets of what happened to her, but learn the truth behind her connection with Mobius. Introducing new enemies and gameplay tactics, The Assignment sets the stage for the concluding chapter of Kidman’s Adventure, The Consequence, releasing later this Spring.

The Evil Within: The Assignment releases on PS4 and PS3 Tuesday, March 10th for $9.99. Watch the trailer above, and for an extended look at gameplay, follow Bethesda on Twitch and tune in Monday, March 9th at 4pm Eastern.

To save on all three DLCs planned for The Evil Within you can purchase the game’s Season Pass on PlayStation Store, either on PS4 or PS3. In addition to The Assignment and The Consequence, this package will also feature content surrounding the safe pick for everyone’s favorite villain — The Keeper — in our third DLC: The Executioner

Awesome, I loved the Evil Within’s tense atmosphere and gameplay.

Hopefully the DLC provides a similar experience.

Cool on the Evil Within dlc. Any update on the Resident Evil Revelations 2 error that’s affecting us all where we can’t even play the game we bought? The only fix now is going to your computer and downloading it and it’s not working for all of us. Kind of sucks I can’t play a game I bought two nights ago. Other people had the same issue when Dying Light launched, and DragonBall on Tuesday. What’s the deal? I called support and they said wait for your update. Still waiting………

  • Safe pick…That one maybe should have stayed under lock and key.

Looks like a lot of love is getting put behind this DLC. Hopefully it’s not too short.

  • If anyone is still having problems with Resident Evil Revelations 2 that wont play on PS4 after downloading The game, on launch night I was waiting and it gave me a error code as many of you know. how i fixed it was going to my phone and went to the Playstation app and sync it to your PS4 and go to your PSN on the on the phone and look for re revelations2 and if will say purchased, just down load it again and your PS4 should say downloading , it will take 40 min

Thanks hueyfann. Problem is the phone app isn’t compatible with my phone. For some it’s working using their computer. The ps3 version did for me. The ps4 version wont. I also spent an hour with sony support last night trying it again. They said sorry, told me to stay patient, and wait for the playstation blog to update everyone on how to fix it. Anyone even seen the blog bring up the issue?

  • Sweet, I’ll be picking up the season pass just before ‘The Assignment’ release. Thanks for the update and info.

  • Can we get The Evil Within for PlayStation 3 in March?

  • exjraordinary

When are the second part and keeper content coming. 6 months for waiting for 1 dlc is crazy. Should have been Dec for first dlc. Jan for second and Feb for third.

  • *Can we get The Evil Within for PlayStation Plus on the PS3 in March?

  • Viewtiful_Gene

Darn, you really have balls to still work on this sadly piece of crap game, but fear not! almost every single modern game that wants the casual audience ends up being s**t!
Don’t get me wrong… …I really wanted to like this game, I had hope in it, but…

Shinji Mikami should have stayed directing crazy action games only.

  • Looks cool. *continues to wait for GOTY ed.*
