Another collection of excellent games joins PlayStation Plus this month, and you’ve come to the right place for details!

Starting things off on PS4 is Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee — New ‘n’ Tasty! This side-scrolling adventure reboots the PlayStation classic with new visuals, new sound, enhanced controls, and even more dark humor than before. Also coming to the PS4 lineup is Valiant Hearts: The Great War. This colorful puzzle game carries with it a heavy subject matter, as it follows four intersecting lives (and a loyal canine companion) during the first World War.

On PS3, gamers with PS Plus can download the critically-acclaimed Papo & Yo, alongside the wit-inducing Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments. And on PS Vita, watch out for OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood and CounterSpy.

These games will be available for Plus members when PlayStation Store updates later today.

  • Valiant Hearts: The Great War was rather enjoyable. Tastefully done, despite being a 90s style game, the art style covered over the cracks and was easy viewing for the entire game; unlike the vast majority of the 16-bit wannabes most indy outfits are churning out with Unity 3D.

Oddworld is still a mess with controllers, just like the PS1 version.

    OlliOlli2 is trash.

  • Got one year membership for the first time. I’ve had PS Plus for 3 months a few years ago and I found it great. Got the PS4 like 7 months ago or probably even more, and believe it or not, I never had the membership, just the only time I got it again I I had the 1 month trial the first month of my PS4 (and got Injustice: Gods Among Us and Infamous: First Light), – now I just got it like 3 hours ago and I think it’s very good. I play CounterSpy for like 2 hours and I found it excellent so far – who knows if it’ll get bad later, but from what I’ve seen now, it has lots of replay value. The Skateboarding game was meh gameplay-wise as if it was a flash game, but the levels had pretty backgrounds. So many games left to play.
