A little over a week ago we launched PlayStation Vue in three US markets: New York, Chicago, and Philadelphia. Today, just in time for the finale of The Walking Dead, I am happy to announce that the following networks will now be available on PlayStation Vue: AMC, IFC, Sundance and WEtv. AMC and WEtv are included in all of the PlayStation Vue packages. IFC and Sundance are included in the Core and Elite packages.

$50 is too much for what you get here. $20/ for the Basic lineup would be worth it.
Here in NY we get an option for Time Warner “Economy Cable” which includes around 60 channels (40 of which are in 1080i) for only $12/month. It’s stuff like; CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, TBS, PBS, Disney, and so on.
That plus Netflix ($8) and Amazon Prime Video ($12) is a much better deal IMO and only $32.
Also, no buffering with cable TV. ;)
Any chance you will be adding PlayStation TV support for this? It’s seems appropriate.
This sounds awesome!! AMC, Comedy Central, FX, FXX, Fox & NBC?!?! AWESOME!!! Just add Lifetime and Hallmark Channel on there and the missus will definitely say “Yes” as well. Hahaha. Maybe lower the price of each by $10 on each of the services, then you guys will DEFINITELY beat cable in due time. But you guys are on the right track.

This looked good in the beta but the price for it can not come close to thousand plus channel cable bundled with phone and hi-speed broadband. I wish it did, I hate Time-Warner and have been loyal to Sony for Decades

As many others have stated, even the basic service is too high.
People can already get quite a few channels for free via OTA (over the air). Channels such as CBS, ABC, NBC, PBS, FOX, TBS, and many others are absolutely free.
They shouldn’t be modeling themselves on cable TV companies. They should be something better.
Also, PS Vita and PSTV support would go a long way in making this worth the extra money for many people.
Do they have plans for this? I’m guessing not or else they would have mentioned it.
Sony all you need to do is add Bein Sports and you can sell this product to the latino Community EASY.. by doing so you will have all the needed Soccer channels for La Liga, EPL, Ligue 1, Champions League….. maybe a little more.. Bring it to New jersey thank you

Make prices cheaper, cost of high speed internet can run between $40-60 then add on the Vue subscriptions, still around $100+ a month, so then why get the service? Release it everywhere and lower the prices and millions will join.
What happened to all the local channels without the local channels in our area it just doesn’t make sense! Is the local channels with all the other channels you have and I’ll be happy to buy. Thank you
One other thing you must lower your prices by the time we get done paying for Internet service and phone it all adds up to the same high price we were a pain in the first place so your prices are too high if you lower them you will have a lot more clientele! Think about that especially for PS plus subscriber us!
Sorry, for your subscription plan cost….no thanks. Sling TV offers AMC and IFC included in their $20 plan. Why should I pay more for IFC to have it on Vue? Not to mention that you completely shunned THE NATION’S CAPITAL on your roll out of Vue. WTG Sony. Fail.

I am already getting the house ready this weekend to go total streaming, would love to just use my PS4 instead of a Roku, HD antenna and Apple TV.
Playstation vue is in New Jersey we have the same as New York service
As I read the comments I don’t people understand the value of this service. “Oh I don’t get the 200 channel like up” My wife and me really just watch 7 channels, and think most people who are gamer’s problem do the same. It does suck that you don’t have ESPN, but if you are paying for internet service you should get some sort of streaming ESPN. I know people who are just going to buy a PS3 or 4 so they can get Vue when it comes to Louisville. Its a great selling point, because like me I think most people are done with the huge channel bundles and are just reruns of some reality TV show. Sony you rock for bringing this service out there!
I wish playstation vu was available in Orlando so I could watch the season finale of the walking dead all I’m gonna be able to do is the story sync
Lame i live in Washington state in a very small town in Spokane county but i would like to know if this vue is gonna expand by citys or states because it will be years before my city gets it then, last thing this is the worst release in history, i mean are u serious only 3 citys? Thats BS it should been a whole country not 3 lame citys
@66 i agree i would by satellite or cable but ill only watch 5 or less channels so why pay for a bunch of channels i dont want?

Ah see if you keep adding good networks like AMC then the price will be worth it, still not there yet to get me to sign on though.
I already have Netflix and Amazon Prime Video came with my subscription. If PSVue gets ABC/Disney and PBS, I am signing up day one when it comes to CT.
Why is everyone upset about the pricing…. 50 dollars a month is great tou even get dvr use up to 28 days stored in the cloud unlimiyed space ect… compare that to other cord cutting services you get more for your buck with playstation vue. I will personally subscribe when it is out on my area. As for others who dont read they did say it wont come out to the Playstation tv box at all. Read before you comment on a service you dont know about. Sony is hard at work trying to do the best overall for us. It just takea time just as google fiber is comming iut to select cities. It all takes time to build and test and get conteacts in each and every stats just like when direct tv first came out took a while for them to bring locals to everyone. It is all in thw contracts and negotiations with cities studios ect. Thank you sony for tour hard work and trying to reply to each and everyone of us who leaves a feedback…
