  • Shovel Knight and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China!

  • Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China looks it would be perfect on the Vita. Is there a chance that it will find it’s way to Vita? And I mean as standalone title (not remote play).

  • Please add these ps1 classics:

    Saga frontier 1 and 2
    Vandal hearts 1and 2
    Einhander
    Brigandine
    Diablo
    Die hard trilogy
    Jade cocoon
    Megaman legends 1 and V2
    Valkyrie profile

    final fantasy crisis core

  • How much is Shovel Knight going to be? Anyone know?

  • @6 Please I really need that Cubs icon, they don’t allow you to purchase these avatars anymore own next gen console or Vita..

  • Who else wants Gran Turismo 1-4 on the PS Store?

  • It’s not often I roll with the crowd, but the hype is real for Shovel Knight. It was awesome on the 3ds, and it’ll be worth picking up again just for the chance to fight Kratos :3

  • I would like to add my name to the list of people who want to pay for a game/purchase a game after they got it from the PS+ membership. It is one of the few ways I can show my support, especially for some of the smaller indie developers.

  • Beyond! Hopefully this makes that new fangled news ghost?

  • So wait, it says New n’ Tasty is a 3-way cross-buy/digital release for the PS3… but does being 3-way cross-buy mean it’s now out on the Vita, or is the Vita version the only version left to be released?

I realize the purchase of one will guarantee all versions once they are all available (I initially bought the PS4 ver.), but I just want to be clear on this weeks drop NOT including the Vita version… correct?

If my assumption is true and the Vita version is still not yet out, is there any time table regarding when the Vita version of New n’ Tasty will be released?? I and everyone else have been waiting quite a while now… although I do want the game to run well vs prematurely releasing it in an unfinished state. We’re all just wondering is all.

  • @47 iamtylerdurden1 – resident evil 2 does sound good, but I think your missing the point. The games coming out on the vita have only been indies you can play on loads of other devices including iOS and pc. The argument can be made both ways about how great the vita is but it’s lack of continued production has given me sad hopes for its future. I truly supported from the get go. I love killzone, soul sacrifice delta, borderlands and I am looking forward to salt and sanctuary. But the issue is its games list is not to me as great as I had hoped. Sure indies are great, but I can play them on other devices, I keep the vita for its exclusive games. Now I would change my tune if they put oblivion or skyrim on there and I’d be error complain again but they don’t and likely never will, but to me games like those are what I like to play. When the vita came out that was the impression the consumer was given by reviews but the tune has changed.

  • I will apologize and say I will not sell the vita, but I will say without titles like that I don’t see people lining up to buy a vita for indie titles and remakes they can play on other devices. To sell the vita you need to remake games that sold well on the ps2 and ps3 which is not even close to what Sony has done. Easly oblivion could be put on it maybe skyrim, a decent COD, bioshock (which they managed to put on the iphone), heavily sword and red dead redemption to name a few that could be put on the vita to help sell it off the shelves, not shovel Knight that is on how many devices. Just been hoping for so long for better.

  • You also can’t name great games on the vita saying they are great when they have yet to release them. I could name dozens of games the existed on several devices that flopped and with the vita I pray it never happens, but loads of titles were pulled from the plans to make on the vita others were just put on without care like COD. The vita is an amazing piece of technology Sony has yet to unleash.

  • Pretty excited for Umihara, definitely grabbing it. Though I do wish it got better art work. As is, it looks like… different sort of niche than what it actually is, if you’re smelling what I’m stepping on.

  • Just give me contra from the ps2!! Most bad ass game ever

  • Hell yeah! Been waiting for Shovel Knight since it was announced for PS4! Haven’t heard of that Assassin’s Creed game but I’ll have to look into it. Hopefully it’s closer to Black Flag than Unity in terms of functioning.

  • oh. side-scrolling Asassin’s Creed. hmm… maybe when it’s on sale.

  • Nice drop. Any word on fixing Mortal Kombat X yet?

  • I am all Shovel Knight HYPE! I can’t wait to get the game on tuesday

  • None of the following is meant to belittle another person’s viewpoint… what is said is said out of respect and I wish to start no arguments.

    With that said…
@quicksilver, You can say all you want that every Indie title on the Vita can be played on other systems, especially portable systems, but you can’t argue that it’s often the case that the Vita versions of most indie games are widely considered to be THE BEST and most complete versions. Meaning, the Vita versions are usually better overall in terms of content and ESPECIALLY controls. Using the Vita’s analog sticks is always, ALWAYS the better option vs using inaccurate touch screen controls and having your thumbs obstruct the screen. Vita versions of many smaller Indie games also are often stuffed to the brim with more content in the form of DLC and or anything & everything added/tweaked/fixed in various patches.

Yes anyone can always say most games found on the Vita can also be found on other systems. That much is always obvious and is true with any system and any game for that matter. Every fps like CoD or BF, and every 3rd party game like AC can be found on multiple and or superior systems. But simply because you can play Shovel Knight on the WiiU/3DS/PS4/XBONE etc. etc., it doesn’t suddenly take away from the fact that Shovel Knight on the Vita will be another great & original game due to for example, the Vita’s bigger/brilliant looking widescreen display, its superior controls(d-pad & analog sticks) and its portability, which is a HUGE plus similar to the 3DS version. Which brings me to my next main point… there are a lot of gamers out there who do not own a 3DS and are waiting to play Shovel Knight specifically on a portable gaming system. The Vita version… with its additional God of War content btw… now is the option they have been waiting for.

Take a gander right here in this very thread and you’ll easily notice all of the people not only excited for Shovel Knight in general, but also take note of how many people are commenting on being overly enthused to be able to finally play it on their Vita’s. These people really couldn’t give two ***** about whether Shovel Knight was previously released on other systems. They’re just happy it’s now out on their system of choice. So this whole, “the Vita doesn’t have that many games because most of them can be played on other systems” line-of-reasoning matters very little to those of us who play all of these “already released games” on our Vita’s precisely because we think the Vita is one of/if not the best portable gaming system of all time!!

  • LA Cops and Ziggurat for me :)

  • Sony, please get Dailymotion & NJPW World apps for the PS4. That would be AWESOME!!!!!!

  • Does anyone know for sure if Oddworld New and Tasty will be free on the PS3 & Vita since its Cross-Buy and a free Plus game for the PS4?

Also, I’m hoping the Vita version is PSTV compatible. More and more games aren’t even bothering to patch PSTV support anymore.
Q-bert and Tiny Troopers are just two which really should have had support, but do not. Tiny Troopers even downloads without a non-working disclaimer to your PSTV, but when you try to start a game it tells you that you cannot play it. So annoying.

  • + Ryan Clements …Why hasn’t the project cars pre-order come over to the US PSN yet…please look into that and make many people happy

  • @69zepified- I was not offered nor should you be by my comments which by taking a point of Defense for all owners of vita I can see that you were. My opinion was singly mine and not said that those who own a vita should do or feel as I do but more so that the vita will not sell from indies alone. My argument being made is already seen in the vita sales. Hence why development of games beyond indie titles have greatly decreased. Also don’t mistake my comments as against the vita itself, it is superior to anything else out there, absolutely better playing games on it I agree 100% with you but for those who bought the vita and are happy with the indie titles coming… Good for them and you… You already own a vita so if sony’s plan is to keep current vita owners happy they have done it from your perspective from my perspective if Sony does not increase sales of the vita we will not see the vita challenged by games of higher performance that would actually sell the vita. So for those with a vita that are happy with the indies coming out don’t be offended by someone else who has a different view such as wanting something beyond indies alone.

  • Whenever I get the chance, Shovel Knight’s going to be the game I am going to buy from the PlayStation Store.

  • I didn’t know Ziggurat was coming to PS4. Sweet!

  • Shovel Knight on PS3 most definitely for me!

  • Is there a price point on Assassins Creed: China yet? It looks really interesting but it would have to be really big to warrant more than a 30$ price point for me.

  • I did not buy a ps4 to play retro games that could easily play on the ps3. This is absolute bs. I’ve been a PlayStation supporter in good times and bad but this is the final straw. You should not make promises you can’t keep. Bad form.

  • @ Veritie: AC Chronicles: China, as well as the two other Chronicles games, are going to be $10 each.

  • @82abbrakadaver – give it time bro, it’s so new it needs time to develop and produce fruit. It’s an amazing system just needs time. The vita has has time lol, that’s why I agree with you in general about sony’s choices of games. How is it they are so exclusive to their systems. Ps2 not on ps3 or ps vita. No wonder sales hurt. But give it time bro, ps 4 will be great!

  • Shovel Knight an d Ziggurat are two GREAT games. Played and beat both on PC and theyre wonderful! Probably will re-buy Shovel Knight on PS4 just because ??? Yacht Club games deserve all the money.

  • I think I’m getting way too picky. I haven’t wanted anything off PSN since Bloodborne, and before that it was Helldivers…. which I haven’t touched in over a month now. Nothing interests me anymore. And it looks like Sony has quietly begun to end gamesharing so they can make more money, and that’s pushed me the point of looking into the damn Xbox One, a move I never saw myself making (Because gamesharing made PS4 a much more affordable option.)

  • STOP trying to sell me **** and fix Shareplay, Results Too Low reading for a person that has 50 download and 5 upload should NOT be seeing that message!

  • Sayonara UmiharaKawase +? looks like fun i was shocked when this is coming stateside now.

  • Please bring the new acessibility features on PS4 and PS Vita/TV (namely button config) to PS3. Thanks!

  • @ #86 Yep, you are definitely getting too picky. I own both a PS4 and Xbox One (as well as their predecessors) and the Playstation brand is still the more affordable option. Better sales on PSN than on Live, no tax on PSN purchases (at least for me here in Canada), cheaper peripheral options (including the cross-gen compatible Gold Wireless Headset and the surprisingly useful PS4 Camera)…I could go on. We have SharePlay and you complain about not being able to share games? If the games aren’t your bag, that’s one thing, but dude, really?

  • @ #87 Sadly gotta agree with you on that. I have a solid 30/5 connection and I get the same message. Tried playing MK X with my friend as host and the button input was atrocious. But that’s a fighting game. Other than that, I felt like I was gaming in the freaking future!

  • Shovel Knight! =)

  • Shovel Knight and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles for me. Looking forward to fun adventures.

  • SoloWingKiba: chronicles is still part of the season pass so those of us who got it before the discontinuing get it for free

  • PLEASE add the ability for us to purchase games we’ve already downloaded through plus, or better yet, let us keep the games we have already downloaded through plus, since we paid for them and all. This huge drawback is the reason I won’t be renewing in June, and I ended up missing out on about three games in this last flash sale because of this. Making this a reality really shouldn’t be that difficult a task, but in all honesty, the way plus is handled really needs to be addressed. I won’t get into that here.

  • Splodem: If you are talking about game discounted you still get them after your plus runs out. its only Instant Game Collection games that are linked to your plus account

  • ^ – Nah, he’s talking about the IGC games only. Those games are always on sale long after having been given away “free” via Plus. With Plus offering diminishing returns for many, this is (and will continue to be) a common complaint. The *other* guys give away games you keep regardless on their older console. Sony may need to do something similar to compete effectively.

On the other hand, they seem to be doing well enough. And even if we did get actually free games with Plus, they might just give us fewer of them or some other downgrade we wouldn’t necessarily like.

  • And still no prices listed alongside the new game listings. How hard could it actually be to accommodate that simple task?

  • Where is Shovel Knight? Still not on PS store.

  • Are these available on the UK store as well? Been waiting for Shovel Knight for ages now.
