The Drop: New PlayStation Games for 6/23/2015

Violence and darkness descend on Gotham City. With a seemingly endless torrent of crime plaguing the streets, the legendary Dark Knight must fight for the city he’s sworn to protect. It’s here at last. Batman: Arkham Knight launches this week on PS4.

The final chapter in the Arkham series, Batman: Arkham Knight once again puts players beneath the cape and cowl of Batman, but with a few very important twists. Now, the entire city of Gotham is open and rife with opportunities to exact Batman’s particular brand of justice. Traverse the dizzying spires and rainy streets with Batman’s signature glide, or catapult into the Batmobile and burn rubber through Gotham for the first time in the series.

I assume Suikoden 3, PS2 Classic — Digital is not for PS4? it is good to see DMC,and Batman looks sweet,though i dont have the hard drive space for it….really hoping sony allows games to go to external HD.

so I pre-ordered both DMC4 and Batman AK and paid a total of 115$
but I didn’t get any code yet, or is it gonna be given at a later date ?

The vita was doomed from the start. They made a lot of horrible decisions, 1) the name kinda sucks(should’ve went with NGP or pretty much anything else but vita) 2) No triggers(whoever made that decision should’ve been fired immediately) 3) no way to show video on YouTube without modding it.(the original reviews looked bad and probably discouraged people from buying). It’s still relatively popular in Japan, so there are plenty of games coming that I’m looking forward to.

You know the vita is officially dead when Riptide GP2 is only for PS4. The racing games selection on vita is terrible and Riptide looks like it would’ve been perfect. I was actually going to download it on my phone a couple weeks ago because it looks fun, but I hate touch controls. Whatever, I’m finally excited about getting a PS4, thanks to Fallout 4, Ff7 Remake, and Shenmue 3!!! And thanks to remote play, my vita will still live on!

  On the PS4 via remote play. Sony realized that stupid gimmick didn’t work as a selling point for the Vita, so they pretty much ditched all support of it. With the exception of a few loli games, cross-buy stuff, and a bunch of indies, I wouldn’t hope for too many more AAA games for that thing.

Depending on the price of DMC4, I may pick it up. But I’m also searching Kijiji this week for a potential PS3 Slim bundle to replace my old-school fat PS3.

And “Rare Replay” combined with X360 compatibility has me finally looking for a cheap Xbox One.

Looking forward to trying out Planetside 2. Will also be going to pick up my pre-ordered copy of Batman though I still feel like I must first complete the first two rocksteady batman games.

Anyone got any idea when the pre-load will start for Batman AK GMT time? (UK), next to Batman in my ps4 library it says “download” but when I click download I get hit with 5 or 6 “an error has occured” messages, I have fibre optic broadband so im not too fussed about the late release of the pre-load but what about people with slow internet? They’ll never get it downloaded for relese! Poor show playstation!!

Planetside 2! Finally! I wish this project hadn’t been mis-managed, or it would have released with much more attention. Still, I’m really glad to see that it is just around the corner.

I’m still wondering why I can’t play x264 avi files in the new media player. The files do not show up. I can play them on the PS3 without an issue. Anyone else have this issue? Does it not support all x264 avi’s? How would I know if its High Profile Level 4.2?

And I’d really enjoy being able to play Crash Bandicoot and Spyro on the Vita, along with some PS2 Classics as well.

I love the people saying they want western games on the Vita when the Vita library is mostly western oriented games and that’s why it bombed. Why are you buying a JAPANESE BASED CONSOLE and then demanding terrible games for it? I bought the thing for JRPGs and there’s almost none on it, unless we count PS1 games.

Hey Playstation,

Why does the Suikoden 3 save data save to a ps2 saved data utility, in oppose to a ps2 card in the memory card utility? I’d like to transfer/copy the Suikoden 2 (ps1 data) data over to the game, but there is is no way to do it since they are in two separate utilties on the system. Is it possible for a fix so that you can save the digital PS2 game to a virtual PS2 card in the memory card utility? That’d be amazing. It doesn’t seem to make sense to me unless there is somehow a software limitation. I love the series and I love Playstation. Let me know what you think.

Thank you so much for Suikoden 3, I hope for more PS2 RPGs on PS3, more RPGs are available on the Japanese store for PS2, English version is available, I hope you bring them to the US store, thanks again.

since the ps4 came out there is nothing for ps3 lately so instead of bringing out the ps3 why didn’t you skip right to the ps4 seems there is not much for ps4 also since suikoden 3 came out are we gonna get the other ones or will they be for ps4 and how about giving us more psnow games to play seems we are shelling out 19 95 a month make it worthwhile for us not a waste of time
