  • Almost nobobdy wants or uses PS NOW.

Stop wasting everyone’s time with this failure you want to shove down our throats.

Either spend the time making PS1/PS2 game backwards compatible on the PS4, or work on something useful.

UI needs a lot of work. folders, friends notifications, customizations etc…

There is still a lot of features that were advertised as coming to PS4 since before launch and we still don’t have them.

Stop trying to milk customers for money they shouldn’t need to spend on a mediocre streaming service and finally get around to doing thing that fans of Sony want please.

    • I subbed for 6 months (until all my time went into ESO). With this update, I plan on resubbing sometime between January and March (when i clear out my current backlog).

I also know several other people that sub to PS Now (anecdotal), and according the comments on this thread there are multiple other people that subscribe.

Just remember, because you personally do not like something like PS Now or PS VR — it does not mean no one does.

    • Everyone who uses it seems to like it, have you read the comments?

  • THANK YOU SONY!!!! One heck of a gift to be thankful for for Thanksgiving and the best Christmas present for PS3 and older Playstation lovers!!

    • Hi MrZamn – thanks for the kind words. Hope you get to play all of the games on your list — and Happy Thanksgiving early!

  • Definitely love the new list of games, you guys should make a PS+ PS Now bundle, call it PS Platinum and make it $60 every 6 months and I would always renew.

    • That’s an awesome idea! I would jump on that if it was offered. ^^

    • Very good idea! I would pay that price.

    • That’s actually a reasonable cost for once. But honestly, it’d more than likely be $150 a year. For $12.50/month you get online multiplayer on PS4, 10GB Cloud Save Backup, 6 Free games a month (they might drop support for Vita or PS3 soon), and unlimited streaming of a catalog of games.

  • I did the trial for a month and purchased a second month however I cancelled after that. Few issues I had but mostly the problem was the valuie. I get what PSNow wants to become, however to entice a wider core audience the titles being offered are pretty bad. Very few games worth the price of admission. Alot of subpar games. You need bigger franchises, more core titles, and the price point is a little high currently.

I think since this is technically still a beta for users and internet speeds / caps come into play a Price point of $14.99 per month would do wonders for the service. Maybe a 30.00 for 3 month of 50.00 for 6 months kinda thing would help.

Just my opinion but until better games hit the service in spades it’s not worth it to me.

  • Gonna give PS Now a trial today. If only to dabble in some games and pick up some trophies! I’m not a huge Capcom fan but might as well try some of these.

I do wish you would lower the subscription cost to $10 per month. At that point it would be like Netflix and you could see millions of people subscribing.

    • Netflix only has to worry about purchasing the licensing to content streaming; whereas, PS Now has to do that in addition to worrying about the upkeep costs of dedicated server blades per user.

  • Really would have liked to see Ni No Kuni added to this list :(

Also wish we could just buy these games, and stream them instead of rent them. It’s so expensive.

    • Hi ThaWolferine – all of the 105 new games that we announced today (plus 150 other games) are included in the game streaming subscription service.

  • Wow. That’s awesome.

  • Does this mean you will be adding Lost Planet: Extreme Condition and Lost Planet 2 to the PS3’s online store in the future for puchase?

  • Was hoping to see some Borderlands or Assassins Creed 2, oh well, maybe in the future. Still some great games there though, might have to renew membership!

    • Hi daniel80808 – five Assassin’s Creed games are available as part of the subscription. Assassin’s Creed, Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed Revelations, and Assassin’s Creed III. Hope to see you back on the service sometime soon!

  • I’m extremely impressed with the additional games! I am not subscribed but I want to in the future, the only thing stopping me is not having enough time to play some of the games on the list (Big backlog) or just buying them on my ps3 if I want. But I love the PS Now service and I think it’s especially awesome on the Vita. Keep it up and adding more games! Streaming games is the future imo. :D

    • Hi Tinye310 – thanks for the feedback. We will continue to add new games each month, so hopefully we’ll see you in the service once you play through the Big Backlog!

  • Here I am…..
Waiting for some PS2 games like DQ8/FF12 and for PS3 Mass Effect 1/2/3

  • I Love Capcom Games *-*

  • Ateliers game?! That’s amazing.

I’m glad to see more localized games in here.I can’t wait for those Disgaea games to be available on PS Now :D

  • I think I speak for everyone when I say “good job PlayStation Now” I literally sit on my PlayStation vita all day when I’m not working and PSNow is so convenient to stream over my cellular network I can game all day! Keep adding more great titles and you’ll continue to have my support.

  • Great list! Now how about a new subscription option for PS+ members?

  • Amazing list but when is psnow coming to Europe

  • Gotta say this is a really tempting list!

Is there any way you can add a few hours to the day so I can play all these

    • Thanks Manischewitz – glad you like the list. About more time, other than setting your clock 3 hours earlier, I’m not sure there’s much I can do on that front. If you do figure out how, please let us all know. I’m sure we could all do with more time to play!

  • Starting to get better, content wise.

Need to add a year membership option ($120 for a year) and PS1/PS2/PSP/PSV/PS4 games!

  • I wish a bunch of these games had native Vita ports. I tried the PS Now trial last night and it didn’t work very well :(

  • nobody wants to rent games that we already own. we need a way for us to use our PS3 discs into the PS4 and have PSnow recognize that and allow us to play the associated game.

the pricing structure is also pretty bad for a rental service. you need to get to Netflix numbers before this service is taken seriously.

  • I just can’t see myself paying for PSNow to play my old ps3 games that I can simply play on my ps3 for free. And as for the games I don’t own, I can just purchase them used or even new for very low prices these days. The only thing that worries me is what I will do once my ps3 fails on me (I’m on my 2nd one already). When that day comes, it might be tempting to subscribe to PSNow instead of buying another ps3.

I thought of an idea to help leverage PSNow: Add a feature to the ps4/psnow that will allow PS+ subscribers to stream any available ps3 game for no additional cost as long as the original ps3 game disc is inserted into the ps4. This is precisely what the xbox one does albeit the games are emulated as opposed to streamed. Surely the ps4 can be made (through a firmware update) to at least detect that a ps3 disc is inserted and which game it is.

I think this would be a win for everyone: its a win for users for obvious reasons and its a win for Sony as they will attract more users to PS+ and to PSNow as a service. Once more people are using PSNow and seeing how well it works with the games they already own, they may be inclined to check out the games they missed out on that they see featured on the storefront.

  • When are you gonna get PSNow on iOS/android? That was promised, IIRC

  • The price is still to high for my taste. Lower the price and I might bite into this PS Now.

  • Horrible service that is used to cheat customers, with a less than average playing experience, that they could practically buy used copies for.

Also a way to charge customers, with an excuse, for a lack of backwards compatibility.

  • It would be nice to see more RPG’s and FPS’s in playstation now like Ni No Kuni and Star Ocean: The Last Hope that would be AMAZING and to top it off like millions of people has already said being able to buy the games as a another option cause I would love playing these games on my PS Vita.

Honestly its confusing for people to having to guess which games are rental only and subscription only. Not sure why that is but I don’t work in this industry so I don’t know but it’ll be nice to make it where when a game comes out it’ll be for both rent and sub same day.

Thanks for the awesome update and for supporting the PS Now service.

  • I was going to complain and say its expensive at $20 a month but then 2 things happened

The first was this post an realizing thats a lot of titles and a huge library.

The other remember that people praised EA Access on X1 but thats $5 a month with access to only a small handful of games in their library.

In retrospect it may not be for me but its a pretty good deal

  • add samurai shodown 2 thru 5!

  • Ok so I have a few of these games on my PS3 so will the saves I have on the cloud work with these or am I going to have to start a new save for each game?

  • Where can I check how much PS NOW costs?

    • Hi LWanTeD – the price for a 1-Month Subscription is $19.99 and the 3-Month Subscription is $44.99 (about $15 per month). You can see the pricing and begin your free trial or paid subscription when you visit the PS Store on your PS4 or PS3. Btw, love the Fat Princess avatar — great game!

  • Spelunker HD and EDF IA :O! I’ll definitely be keeping my sub once the trial period is over!

  • PS+ should include a few now titles each month. Otherwise a huge number of people will never even give now a chance.

  • Still way too expensive, considering the competition isn’t charging for last gen games that you already own, here soon

  • Please please please add some Boxing games. I know a few of my friends that would subscribe to PSN for their PS4 if it had boxing games in the subscription library. Keep in mind that no boxing games are currently available for the PS4.

  • I’m really mad at my
    Wi-Fi …I can’t stream the games
    Oh well

  • Will there be a bundle for Ps plus and now in the future? Thanks for the mega man!

  • Sony, I have an idea for you. How bout drop the ps vita system and bring new vita games to ps now. I love ps vita games, but it seems like the system is not popular anymore and so there are never any new games. Maybe it would be a great incentive for new subscribers for ps now if ps now offered and made ps vita games for ps now. I have the is ps vita and I am very disappointed there are not more games for it. Please consider this idea.

  • With both WiiU and now XB1 having some form of free BC, PS Now and its OUTRAGEOUS prices are a real slap in the face insult.

At LEAST give us digital ps1 classics cross-buy/play like currently on all 3 less powerful psp, vita, and ps3 playstation systems

  • More streaming games is fine, but this should not be considered anything that is equivalent to Backwards Compatibility.

I wish Sony would just start releasing PS1 and PS2 games on the PS4 for local play.
The PS4 is obviously more than capable.

  • very nice list guys! please keep it up. and also. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put silent hill HD collection and silent hill 1 on PSNOW

IM BEGGING YOU!!! i would sub FOREVER then.

  • Thank for massive update. I hope next months will be added Namco games.
I dreaming about Soul and Tales series, Ni no Kuni, Eternal Sonata and others games in my Vita.

  • I see great titles on here a lot of them I own on PS3 already it would be dope because I already own the license to these games I would love to be able to play it on my ps4 again not knocking just throwing out an idea

  • Haven’t checked yet, but I hope you guys added a whole bunch more RPG games.
    Including re-adding FF13

  • Start working at home with Google! It’s by-far the best job I’ve had. Last Wednesday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this – 4 weeks past. I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $100 per hour. I work through this link. wallstreet34.com

  • All of these and no Guantlet: Dark Legacy ????

Am I seriously going to have to go out and buy a used PS2?

  • I have a question i subscribe to this here in the uk and we get what no games added do we not matter anymore im paying the same money or do sony not need to try here having the market share as they do.I am very annoyed 100 more games to us none to anywhere else so us no gets better value for money i am now cancelling as all your customers are not equal what a joke.

  • I was in edge about renewing the subscription, but now I’m certain I will. You guys never fail to amaze me

  • This would be amazing news if it wasn’t on “Now”.
    This service is a joke.
If I can rent it why can’t I just own it?
PS4 super system that you can’t download previous gen games on…
Hope XBone shows you guys up since they are doing BW compatibility.
Wake you guys up and take my money.
If I could buy them with all those titles I love that would be an easy $100-200 drop right there. Easily!

  • this all sounds fantastic but really should just make a way to just purchase the games as well. there are games i would totally pay full price for AGAIN just to play on the ps4 because lets face it, the ps3 is waaaaay too slow lol. also add skyrim and the mass effect games and im sold

  • Im sorry but $20 a month for this service is a rip off.. Nividia’s new streaming service (Geforce Now) is only charging $7.99 a month and their selection is MUCH better with more recent titles like Shadow of mordor, Mad max, lego jurassic park, etc…

  • Just make ps4 backwards compatible. I own most of these games, I’m not paying a subscription to play them on ps4
