Whether you’re solving crimes or chaining attacks for a higher combo score, prepare for peril in this open world.

Batman: Arkham Origins (New!)
Set several years before Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Origins tells the story of why Batman became the Dark Knight and how the villains rose up against him. Fight for a Gotham City free of crime and corruption in this action-adventure game.

Injustice: Gods Among Us (New!)
Fight as DC Comics icons such as Batman, Cyborg, The Flash, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Solomon Grundy, Superman, Wonder Woman, and more in epic battles on a massive scale in a world where the line between good and evil has been blurred.

Mortal Kombat (New!)
Experience the deadliest tournament in all its bloody glory in Mortal Kombat, including intrepid warriors Skarlet, Kenshi, Rain, and the notorious dream stalker Freddy Krueger.

F.E.A.R (Single-Player Campaign Mode, New!)

(First Encounter Assault Recon) team is assembled to deal with the extraordinary circumstances. Be the hero in your own epic cinematic shooter of action, tension, and terror!

But that’s only the first of this two-part content release from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

  • This was what i was waiting for to jump into PS Now. I was able to grab one of the One Year Cards at Playstation Experience yesturday!!!

    • Hi bigslow – Thanks for being part of our PlayStation Now player community and congratulations on scoring one of the very first 12-Month vouchers! We printed a limited number of these for the show! Enjoy!

  • People should open their eyes. SONY is a company and is here to make MONEY. The fact that they just released PS2 games on the PlayStation 4 means that emulation it is possible in the console. I do understand that PS Now is future proof, and that they are looking to integrate PS4 games on the service as well, but do make note that SONY has no intention on providing access to games that you already own digitally for free, or even at a discounted price. Also, make note that some people already own PS2 titles that they bought on their PS3, to which SONY will not give them the games for free either. Like I said in the beginning SONY is just here to make Money. Also, note that they don’t even reply to the criticisms made by people. Yes, they do reply to some posts and they can only reply to so many, and they probably do look at the criticism made by people, but they don’t directly address those who made fair points like + gohan16ken said what is SONY going to do when the PS3 is no longer supported. Are we going to be able to access our digital catalog on the console? Or are we going to be forced to use PS Now?

    • Part 2:

There are so many people who provide feedback everyday, and it would seem that SONY is not taking those feedback into account. I am not stating a fact this is just my opinion. SONY right now is in a position that they have power over the consumer just because they are selling better than the competition, but ask yourself, are they listening better than the competition?

  • In my opinion, many people are being very unreasonable. $99 for a one year subscription is a very fair price for everything you get. I can understand the stability issue, which is my largest concern, but, beyond that, this is a dang good deal. I guess some people just want it to be free. And, before anyone tells me about how they paid for the games, yada, yada, yada…I understand that, but that is totally separate from this.

  • When does this offer end?

  • Sony has destroyed retro gaming and you guys are helping by repurchasing games you can buy for 5 to 10 dollars. And I’m sorry $100 dollars a year for Playstation Now is ridiculous that service should be in the Playstation Plus subscription adding $10 dollars to the service making it 59.99 a yr for Playstation Plus! And to charge per game for ps2 really , im so glad Sony you love your fan base! These are my thoughts and opinions I only speak for myself.

  • This is definitely a step in the right direction, but that price needs to stay below $100 permanently. I just bought an Xbox One and have access to over 60 games for last gen for free with more coming, so this is not a deal. Especially considering the lag and various other issues I have on a 50/50 Fios connect with PSN.

  • $100 sounds great to me.
    Even Netflix costs more.
Sadly I’m living in South America….

  • I’m totally down for this assuming the games I play stay on the service. I’d still love to know what happened to Final Fantasy XIII and why it suddenly disappeared from Playstation Now with no notice.

  • Throw in a discount to purchase digital, and you finally sound like you are getting the right idea.

  • While this is a great value; I’m still bothered by the fact that I actually own most of the digital versions of the PS Now library and I am being asked to pay to access the games I already own digitally. It would be nice to have them on my PS4 without paying for them again (as I used my PS3 to upgrade to my PS4). If I own the digital licences via my PSN account shouldn’t that count for something Sony?

  • Finally a decent considerable price for PS NOW. I wanted to get it before but the price was so outrageous, smh. I will now look at the PS NOW library to see if this is worth it for my particular gaming interests. This price however shouldn’t be for a limited time…

  • Good games, but unfortunately nothing for me. I already played them, or not interested (LEGO).
But some other titles from WB (F.E.A.R. 2-3, The Lord of the Rings: War in the North, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Lollipop Chainsaw ) on my Vita would be great. So may be next time…

  • Playstation Now, huh? Netflix for games, you say? That sounds terrible.

Or so that is what I originally thought. I activated my seven day trial today after I purchased the Playstation Vita. I wasn’t going to even bother, but “Free Trial” convinced me that it would at least be worth checking out. Honestly, I expected huge amounts of input lag, poor video quality, huge load times and an overall downgraded experience.

I was wrong! I’m incredibly impressed by the quality and responsiveness of such a streaming offer! Input lag is hardly noticeable (if at all, even) in the titles that I’ve tried out so far, the graphics have been clean and crisp and I’m overall pleased with the experience it gives me on my new Playstation Vita.

Is it perfect? No, but it’s damn close.

To sum up: I have nothing but positive things to say about Playstation compared to the offerings of other consoles. I’m loving the drive and passion that you seem to be carrying to get great games in the hands of gamers and that speaks more loudly to me (and the community who choose not to close their ears) than any other “Home Entertainment Console” ever will. Keep it up. I hope you never lose that focus.

  • It’s not so much about the price as it is the TIME! When do you have the time to play that many games?
I am already level 21 or something. From what I seen that is higher than the average gamer I run into online.
I play everyday. All the time. I have so many back logged games. Just bought FF7 for ps4, why? Why I have no idea becuase I am still working on Just Cause, Fallout, COD, Star Wars, Uncharted Collection, etc. etc, etc, etc,
Don’t even get me started on my 35+ game back log on Vita.

If PS Now was 5$…. I probably still wouldnt get it because I simply don’t have the time.

With all this backwards compatibly, PSnow, and remakes and ultimate editions its overkill. There are just too many games.

  • Hello, I have a stupid question. The only system I own is PS4. Do all of the above listed games work on that system through PSNow? If not, is there a list of games somewhere that I can play on my PS4? I repeat, I do not have a PS3, vita, sony TV or anything that is not a PS4.
    thanks

  • The problem is that the majority of people already own most of these games. Sony needs to figure out how to tie a users ID to a game and allow them to stream that game for free. At LEAST the digital store bought games. Don’t think it would be possible with disc based games.

  • Sounds interesting but my question is , once I start paying on the annual subscription will I still have access to the promotion after the first year or is this just a one year promotion that wont continue weather I paid for the first year or not?..

Please Reply I am very interesting in knowing to help me make my final desicion to weather or not subscribe to the service

  • Hmmm not bad, too bad I just signed up foor the service like 2 weeks ago!!! Arghhh!

  • Currently PlayStation Now is only available in a few countries. South Africa isn’t on the list and probably won’t be.

  • I gave it little thought and decided not to buy it even with so much huge discount. I don’t think I will be playing them with so many ps4 games coming. Thank you PlayStation.

  • I doubt it will ever happen, but…

I think there should be a reasonable charge to stream previously purchased digital games on PS Now. Sony would destroy the growing success (and probably the quality) of this service if they allowed free streaming to content owners.

Charging a small fee for each game would allow skeptics to really put PS Now to the test, for better or worse.

  • When we rent a game do we have access to the DLC’s, or do we have to buy them. I don’t want to shell out $20+ more to buy them for a limited access to the games.

  • Hey PlayStation I’ve only been a subscriber for the first 3 months and I want to know if I extend too a year can I be charged right away or do I have to wait till my current membership is up I’m going too extend tmmrrw

  • Is there any way we can know when this promotion will end? Will it be available on Christmas? I know many have asked and not gotten an answer, but it would be great if we could have some idea how long the promotion will last.

  • I let my ps plus subscription run out this month, because I did not like the titles that were coming out recently. Also I had religiously downloaded my ps plus free games every month, and I noticed that I did not have access to Rocket League the other day. I called tech support and they told me that I had not downloaded games for that month. My download history shows that I have never missed a month with the exception of that month, but I was not given any help and was told that there was nothing they could do for me. Despite all this, I am still interested in the PS now, and think it has greater value for someone who does not like to play online and only had ps plus for the games.

  • This is really cool news! I’d definitely subscribe to this if I lived in America… Any plans to bring this deal to the UK?

  • It’s December 8th the games were added but not the 12 month subscription do you know the time when it’s supposed to be live? It’s 1 in the afternoon here

  • I thought this would be available today? I’m not able to buy it yet in the store.

  • I’d be happy to buy a PS4 priced $100/$150 above the regular price but with integrated Backwards compatibility. PS Now, no thank you

    • It works great for me. I love being able to play hundreds games without having to buy all of them seperately.

It’s just like Netflix, Spotify, etc.

  • Quite a lot of entitled whiners on here.

Sony isn’t going to let you stream the games you already own for free. You’re paying for the streaminf serrvice, not the games.

It’s just like Netflix. I own a bunch of digital movies that are on Netflix but I don’t complain that Netflix won’t let me stream them for free.

  • Do the Lego Batman: The Videogame and Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 have trophy support?

  • Great deal guys, just bought it! The price model made this impossible for me to resist. Thanks for making it available. Looking forward to losing more hours to my favourite pastime. ;)

    Keep the titles coming!

    -Strath-

  • Is there a list of games anywhere? I’m on the PS now page (https://www.playstation.com/en-ca/explore/psnow/subscriptions/) and I only see 143 games listed. Also are some of them not included in the subscription? (Rental only)?

  • Yay it is live now, just bought it! $99.99 Canadian for a year is a steal!

  • I already have subscription. Tried buying this 1 year subscription. During purchase got below message.
“We’ve encountered an error while processing your order. The transaction has not been completed. Please try again later.”

I tried all browsers even on mobile got same message.

  • Good offer on the yearly subscription. Really should be the monthly, right now, but this is a beginning towards normalizing pricing.

AND…all of these new titles have GOTY type editions with all content. DLC availability and full versions needs to happen on all streaming titles. please. This is a big issue that really needs to be addressed a.s.a.p. IMHO.

That said, I enjoyed the trial. Very little lag, but some compression issues that blur out fine detail. Hopefully, this will be improved in the near future.

But the lack of 5.1 sound is a major letdown. I receive sound in Dolby Digital stereo, which decodes into Dolby Pro Logic, but requires me to change my sound settings from optical to RCA plugs. Bit of a pain to switch back and forth every time I use the service.

I’ll admit to being on the sharp side of the fence here, but I think I’m leaning towards waiting to see if at least these two issues ever get addressed. Speaking for myself, if that gets fixed, I’m in.

  • Come back to me when you’ve added Bethesda classics like Fallout 3 / New Vegas, Skyrim, Oblivion, etc. It also bothers me that I own so many games digitally on PS3 and yet have to pay again to access them on PS Now.. meanwhile Xbox One has backwards compatibility for last gen’s games I owned digitally at no extra cost (including Fallout 3).

Disclaimer – I am a Sony fanboy and not a Microsoft fan in general, but I am trying to give some tough love to you guys to improve your product.

    • Also wanted to add some other games I know players want on PS Now.. I know it’s not that simple with licenses, etc but please take note Sony:

      Mass Effect Trilogy
      Red Dead Redemption
      Deus Ex Human Revolution
      Far Cry 3

    • I just re-subscribed and realized that my PS Now copy of Final Fantasy 13 no longer works.. says the title was removed from PS Now. Why was this removed without any notice to us? It was one of my main reasons for re-subscribing. This feels anti-consumer.

  • arkham origins finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks playstation now I can renew my membership. I have been waiting for this game to go on now for a while.

  • great you get ps3 games but you should also get the same for ps4 can someone let me know what you get for ps4

  • Is there an official list of the games list anywhere? I can only find unofficial lists that seem to be outdated

  • Do saved games from an actual PS3 and owned game transfer at all if the game is also on PS Now?

  • WITH THIS NEW ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION PRICE, I CAN FINALLY BECOME A SUBSCRIBER!! I signed up for this the day it became available which was this past Tuesday. My experience with PS Now has been very positive but the pricing structure didn’t work with my budget. Going over the other comments, there is a key piece of information I don’t think people understand. While this offer is for a limited time, those of us that purchase the annual subscription during the limited will have the option of continuing the subscription on an annual basis under this price so long as we keep it active. If you enjoy the service, sign up as soon as you can to take advantage of this deal because Sony is withholding how long it will be available.

  • Proud to finally see this launch from Test launch to 12 month definitely stoked:D

  • I just subscribed for a month. How do I find the rest of games in a catagory, there is over 400 games but I only get a list of about 10 in each section, and I cant find some games. for example I see Sonic 4 ep1 ep2, sonic cd, but not Sonic Generations. other games too that are listed on ps now wiki page, I cant find

  • Why won’t it let a sub-account subscribe? My master account is subscribed. When logged in using sub-account, I get an option to start a 7 day free trial, but not to subscribe. When I try the 7-day trial, it says that the action cannot be done with a sub-account. There are no restrictions on the sub and I want my kid to be able to use PlayStation Now with his vita as well

  • This sounds like a far more tempting deal, any chance of something similar in the UK?

  • Im a day one playstation fan; like back when playstation gave a way free jam pack demo’s day 1 fan. I think playstation now can be the future but has a lot of hiccups. 1st off is the pricing. $19 and $45 a month is way too high, it might work for some at first but it won’t be too long before it become the subscribers decide to abandon those rates. Also the connection for this service is crappy beyond explaination, playstation states the services can be used on a connections of 5mbps which i think is a lie. whenever i play online on all my console system and even my laptop I have no problems but one i try to log on to ps now I get either 1 of 2 messages (your internet connection is too low or this service is currently undergoing maintenance. Now at $99 per year sounds more reasonable especially for someone with a ps vita, this whole service is perfect but the connection issues once again derails that idea. I’m currently at day 3 with my 7 day subscription and in those 72 hrs was able to play a total of 1hr uninterrupted from connection issues. I really wanted purchase the year subscription but at this rate don’t think i will.

  • I think the price should be kept at $9.00 to $15.00, I don’t like the whole Prime price of $99.00 per year. sure $100 may not seem like much to some customers, but to others it’s a small fortune. while some might say it’s 12 months of unlimited game streaming and that’s seems ok in concept, but 12 months can go by pretty fast when your anticipating a $100 dollar deduction from your debit account especially considering the services perforce. Prime offers other features with their service and those additional features “almost’ make up for the yearly wallet pounder, Playstation now has great potential, but still isn’t worth $100 per Year

$99.00 per year is like paying for a new PS vita TV bundle once a year for glitchy streaming and mediocre service and laggy game play. I wouldn’t want to pay $99.00 every year for another limited device just being honest, $9.95 or $15.00 seems appropriate for the current service offered Not $100.
